I think covid may have caused problems with staffing and maintenance. Only one English speaking staff member (just) but they did their best to be helpful. Showers were almost dangerous when hot water surged and scalded you

Aircondition mold”

The aircondition in our room smelled like it had moisture/mold damage, when we told the staff they came with an airfreshner spray and when that didn't work they didn't even offer us another room. Would not recommend staying in the room, it smelled like shit.

Very Nice”

If you into quiet and relaxing place, this place is really nice. Breakfast was good, many choices for both western and Vietnam food. Will come back again.

Excellently positioned hotel”

Me and husband stayed here for 11 nights in December and we had a very pleasant stay. We had a bungalow room near the bottom end of the resort, where the gym, pool and way to the beach were. We are both gym goers so we’re very happily surprised to find out there was a gym (even if it was basic it’s better than nothing!) The pool was really long and decent size. We never had trouble getting a sun lounger as well as most of the time we were the only people by the pool! The pool staff were very friendly and were always more than happy to provide us with towels etc. The breakfast was very nice, with a selection of fruit, pastries, yogurt, salad bar, omelette station and hot selection that changed every day - my favourite was the sticky rice with bacon and egg (SO delicious!) The room was nice, with a minibar and aircon. They even laid out a nice display of flowers on the bed on our arrival (see pics). The hotel overall was very good for the price you pay and excellent location!

Good value and good location ”

This place is ideally situated as it is far enough from town to be quiet but near enough to get to for the night market etc. The room to get is definitely a poolside bungalow ,clean,comfy ,good air con and large bathroom ,free water tea and coffee plus minibar, nice and shady under the palm trees and by the side of one of the best pools in the area .access to the beach is easy ,straight through a smaller resort down to beach chairs and restaurant .The breakfasts are good and varied and the restaurant itself does serve good food with vegetarian option which we found no problem in all Vietnam .We spent ten nights at this resort and did look at lots of others during our stay and decided we were better off here .best pool ,helpful staff ,they try really hard to provide everything ,just ask nicely !! and better quality motorbikes to rent . Overall a good deal and pleasant place for individuals and families . Would come back here for sure Ken and Caroline

Good service location and staff, it was raining off season”

The resort staff were good, carried my bag , the toilet leaked on the last day, they wanted me to change room, however it did not leak further. got to cross the road for the beach, however cannot swim on the beach , high wave and current. breakfast average. location is 3 KM from city centre, should have booked nearer. Spa was closed. off season period. Rained during the 3 days I stayed. fishing for squid, there was the rain and no squid. overall enjoyed the trip and the seafood.

Worth for Money”

I think the Delux room is worth the price with breakfast buffet. I like the cleanliness there. The room maid cleans our room every day. Bathroom is big. I recommend you booking Superior instead of Superior cos there is no difference between the two except for Delux is a big larger than Superior. Hot water, airconditioning, fridge. Free tea bags and coffee and a welcomed dish of fruits. Early check-in is allowed without any fee. You just need to contact the sale manager, asking them to prepare for you. Kind of nice to us. The swimming pool is large. Though it doesnt have its own beach, you can easily access the beach by crossing a small alley then going through another resort. There is no restriction for you to enter the other resort. Hope you will enjoy your trip in Vietnam.

nice to relax a few days, quiet atmosphere, good breakfast buffet (but it's all the same, every day). Only a few minutes walk to the beach, but no direct access, so no chairs there.

the bungalows are very good and clean but the rooms are not up to a 4 star hotel - some of them do not even have a window - we were forced to take the dinner at New Years Eve for 1,5 Million each! The food was not even near to be worse that much money and the event was boring. There is no own beach acces Stuff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good

we stayed suite room, no shower curtain, telephone keep broken. at night, so loud music from hotel restaurant. shower water presher very very weak, no able to wash hair. need to go to local hair salon for hair washing. pool so small and only 7 parasail , no beach, we will not use this hotel in our next time dating at this island

Good value for money”

Good breakfast, nice poolside bungalows with big bathrooms, a huge pool, and a short walk to the beach. The manager is extremely helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay here next time.

Phu Van Resort and Spa”

Poor customer service, beach area available for hotel guests was small, unkempt, a handful of lounge chairs for guests. Breakfast was just okay, least appetizing in our 4 week travels through Vietnam. Only positive point: lovely clean pool. Would have stayed nearby but it was sold out when I tried to book it 2 months in advance.

We were very kindly welcomed and upgraded to a bunglow room as there was building work going on in the main building . All the staff were extremely welcoming , and attentive , special thanks to Michael. The hotel is just the right size with a great pool .

Great hotel on Long Beach”

This is a very nice hotel. We've been upgraded to the pool bungalow for free. My husband has asked the staff to decorate our room for my birthday and they did a beautiful job. Hotel is located in the second line from the beach, so about 50 meters away. It's safe, clean, and colorful. Breakfast is ok - it's a local buffet with some western dishes.
