A cabana in the nature”
Stayed 2 nights at the resort. Can only reach the by sea, as no road access. Its nicely located within the natural landscape of the island on a kind of a private beach. Just a few room, bungalow in wood/bamboo built, basic, but well arranged. The resort is run by foreigners , as so all the guest were western. As so ,lots of interaction with the nature, but as much with the local culture or people. All activities are pretty much organized for divers.

From the outset of my stay, I was made very welcome and it was clear that making guests' stays memorable is at the heart of everything the resort does. The staff were amazing and really made my time there special particularly Rey the owner and Zoe and Jan who manage the resort. The location is perfect for diving with many spectacular dive sites a short boat ride away. Dives are well planned and really cater to the level of experience of the individual diver. Venky, the dive guide has an incredible knowledge of the reefs and a very keen eye for finding the tiniest of sea life. For those not diving, or for those who wish to spend some time on the surface, there is a lovely beach to relax on or, for those looking for something else, you can opt to rent a kayak or go bird watching. The beachfront bungalows, perfectly located close to the beach with a lovely view of the sea are simply and comfortably furnished. They are traditionally made and very much in keeping with the Ecological philosophy of the resort. It was wonderful to drift off to sleep at night listening to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore. Each bungalow has a porch with its own hammock to relax in and there are comfortable sun beds located around the resort. The resort has been very well planned and it's layout allows the natural flora and fauna to flourish and so there was a real array of birds around in the trees. The food was to die for! As a vegetarian, I often find that my needs are not well catered for. Here, the food was incredible and not just for the vegetariarians as there were freshly cooked meat and fish dishes on offer too. Overall, I cannot speak highly enough of this resort and hopefully, I will be able to return soon.
