This hotel is permanently CLOSED since 2018 and yet Agoda features it and charges you.

It was a really bad experience at Regent. We went with my small baby just for her sake. But the. Moment we entered across was leaking heavily in the carpet. Some maintenance person came and said because we kept the windows open but this problem continued till our exit. Food is really really costly and not worth the money. We asked for beach facing room for my kid sake. At agoda the price was costlier but when we went there the receptionist said he has a room beach facing and that he is delighted to give to us. But when we went and saw the room we cud not figure out any beach as it was fully constructed with different malls. The receptionist till the last minute bluffed shamelessly. No one bothered to clean the room or Dustin. We had to keep the dustbin out for two days. Only good thing about this hotel is swimming pool and easy access to family beach. Final word if cleanliness or facilities are not cause of concern you can go to Regent beach resort. Very disappointed exper
It is not a beach resort ”
Very small hotel.. very small lobby. which originally was a two-story villa house . My room was very dark. When I pulled the curtains to have some lights there were other villas. The hotel is not directly on the beach, u need to walk trough resturant, go out , then cross two streets to reach the beach.. When I got to the beach i had to pay 180 AED for the beach bed and umbrella !!! ( u need to rent). The gym was very small comfortable to 04 people and the air was not fresh for exercise. Small pool as well. Small lobby .. The receptionist were nice and helpful. They should remove the beach resort title from it as it is not a beach resort. Agoda and booking.com should do surprise inspection not by their Dubai staffs but by their overseas staf When we think resor it comes to our mind that we can enjoy walking around in the hotel , Have a nice pool and some trees or a garden around to have a nice cocktail to refresh but this place does not have any of this Discription..!!
Awful Experience”
Staff advised us that we can't stay without marriage certificate, i asked him who carries their marriage certificate around? We were forced to book 2 rooms and stay separately, although hotel was totally fine we stayed in 1 room in the end, but paid for 2. Never again!
Regent Beach Resort”
It was the best experience. the place was not fancy, but the location is pretty good. It will take you 10 min max to downtown . open and new beach was a 1 min walk. the rooms were clean, staff were nice and friendly. I will definitely come back again.
