Central location”
Just minutes away from doge palace, st mark square, public transport dropped right at the front of hotel from the airport, and found transport to santa lucia train station right in front of hotel gate, san zaccaria is the stop where every public transport arrives, loved the location, neat and clean rooms, lovely washroom, friendly staff. There is a street on the left of it which leads to the beautiful small canals leading up to st mark square and doge palace.

We stayed at Savoia & Jolanda in May and absolutely loved the location. There is Ferry stop right opposite the hotel, making it super easy to catch the Ferry to other areas of Venice/ other islands and also if you decide to take a water taxi from the airport (highly recommend!) it can stop almost outside the hotel. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk away from St Marks Square which is great - so many shops and restaurants to visit. The hotel facilities were good, there is a small gym with weights and 3-4 different cardio machines, which looked brand new. At the moment only one household/ room can entire the gym at one time which we really liked - our own private gym! There is a booking system for the gym. There's also a small sauna. We went for one of the "comfort rooms" which meant it was a small room but as we barely spent any time in the room it didn't matter to us. The room was clean, although a bit old fashioned. The hair dryer was also particularly bad, not a big deal but a pre-warning! Staff at reception were very helpful and knowledgeable. We had dinner one night in the restaurant which was very good. Overall we had a really good stay at this hotel.

1. Terrific location. From airport take water bus blue line. When you arrive San Zaccaria B stop, only 1min to the hotel. Your luggages are so easy to travel. And 3 mins walking distance to San Marco. Very convenient to here and there. Especially, if you want to go take good pictures of San Marco and Dulce without many tourists, from this hotel that will be so easy to make it possible. 2. Hotel people are nice and professional. The room are big and with many good details. 3. If you are okay for hotel budget, please try the lagoon view suite. That will give you a marvelous view of Venice.
