5 Stars Hostel”
I made the right choice. My first hostel stay was a fantastic experience, and it's made me eager to try more hostels on future trips. Spin Designer Hostel is probably the best accommodation I've chosen in the Philippines. I gave the location 4 stars, mainly because it's not beachfront. This was a big requirement when I first searched for a place to stay in El Nido. However, the location is still very deserving of 4.5 stars. It's on a main road, easily accessible to everyone. Although I rented a motorbike during my trip, I was able to walk to the beach and town, avoiding the traffic chaos of the narrow streets with tricycles and limited parking spaces. The cleanliness, comfort, and care I received during my stay were absolutely worth the 5-star rating for value for money. Cleanliness: The shared bathroom was regularly cleaned, and the shower gel and shampoo were always refilled. The towels were clean and in good condition, and if needed, I could simply ask the hostel reception to replace them. Facilities: The hostel has excellent facilities, including lounges in different areas, working spaces, and a beautiful garden with big trees leading to their new restaurant and small pool. There's also a self-service laundry. For convenience, the hostel provides a small shelf where you can buy basic items like detergent, toothbrushes, and even earplugs. This is a great idea, especially since most convenience stores are not nearby. And to top it off, the hostel offers a breakfast buffet and egg stations! The water pressure was good, there was 24/7 electricity, the Wi-Fi was excellent, and there were board games and books. Spin hostel hosts different events and activities every night. I joined the barbecue-karaoke (Barbe-Oke) night on my first night. I missed the pasta night and another activity on the second and third nights due to exploring El Nido. Above all, the staff at Spin Designer Hostel were incredible. Filipino hospitality is known for being warm and welcoming, but the staff at Spin treated me like a friend, always with a smile and ready to help. Their friendliness helped me overcome my shyness and hesitation to talk to strangers. I never felt alone. I want to give a special shout-out to the receptionist Ate(s) for their assistance from check-in to check-out, the bar and restaurant team, and of course, Jonny the star of Spin Designer Hostel. I could go on and on, but I encourage you to try it for yourself. Trust me, it's all worth it.

I love this place. Clean and organized rooms and common area, friendly and warm staff, and spacious beds with privacy curtain and bed light (which is a good thing because i cant sleep with the lights turned off-- monsters maybe :0). They have shared toilets and baths and 2 separate T&B for girlies. Breakfast is superb! From pancakes to egg station to servings of fruit and simple rice meal, to coffee and juices. They have activities at night like bbq, karaoke or pasta night where guests can mingle. AC is set on comfy setting plus the overall vibe gives a homey feel. Water is clean and pressure is okayyy with heating installed. The lounge area is cool as i stayed here most of the time. There's a ledge where you can sunbathe or have a chill time with nature. If you wanted to have a good rest and avoid the noise of social hostels where drunk and noisy guests bicker along the hallway, this is the place for you. They implement 10pm noise down for resting guests which I like the most. There's still a construction going on with other facilities outside the "main" lodging building but it did not compromised my stay. 💜

A beautiful and sprawling place nestled amidst the greens..May not be a beach property, but it makes up for this by just being one of the best hostels to stay in El Nido. Super comfortable place with all the amenities thrown in without an additional price, top notch sevice staff and a surprisingly great breakfast included in the stay. Just go for it..
