Loved my stay ”

Really enjoyed my stay at The Cabin. The staff and owners very friendly and helpful, the food is delicious, close to a lot of attractions. I will definetly come back next time I'm in Chiang Mai.

Top quality hostel!”

This was an all round excellent hostel. The beds were very comfortable and clean, the 6 bed room was huge Compared to other hostels I’ve stayed in. All the staff were super helpful and helped us with booking things like the elephant sanctuary. The owner Mike was really friendly and gave us lots of good recommendations on things to do in the area. They offer a banging breakfast as well at a really good price!

We stayed there since they have reopened after covid. We were very impressed by how helpful the staff were and how clean the rooms were. The food is amazing and great value for money.

PROS: As far as cleanliness goes, they're top notch. The building and the rooms look mostly new, always clean, tiled, big bathrooms with big vanity mirrors. If you value some space to yourself this hostel is the place for you to be, the rooms are massive and you never feel cluttered. Free water refills. Soaps and hand soaps, proper hand drying towels, warm water in the showers, a curtain that slides across to keep your stuff dry that's hanging on the hooks. Lots of great thought has gone into this place. Curtains on the beds and each person has an international adapter power point, so you don't need to actually use your bulky power adapter. CONS; Their policy of turning the aircon off all day until 19:00 is one of the worst I have seen in any hostel I have ever stayed at. Most hostels at most will switch it off for 4 or 5 hours, not until 7pm! Seriously, we search for a place with air-conditioning, so we expect to have air conditioning. No towels provided. Lockers not wide enough

The Cabin made Chiang Mai feel like home! ”

If you’re looking for a place with a chill vibe and want to feel like you’re at home, I highly recommend this hostel. It offers all the luxuries and comforts to make your stay perfect. Without it being a party hostel, there’s usually always some people in the common area so you can interact. They offer a delicious range of breakfasts for 80-100 Baht and are high quality. The coffee is the BEST I’ve had on my trip so far. The room I had was a 6 sleeper pod and it’s basically a small hotel room offering 100% privacy, a single bed with a side table and a curtain as the “door”. The rooms are cleaned daily and they even make up your bed. I’d certainly consider this more like a basic boutique hotel. The staff and owner are all wonderful people and make you feel like you belong. I booked 2 nights and stayed for 7! I’ve stayed in tons of hostels over my 6 months of travel and this is in the top 3 for sure. Don’t hesitate to book here because it’s a smaller hostel and they always get fully booked!
