If we could we would compose Ode to The Tarna Align Resort because how amazing it was!”
Location is perfect balance between being close to the Sairee beach (especially by the hotel’s shuttle) and at the same time being surrounded by the oasis of beautiful peaceful nature offering spectacular views. Free transfer from the Koh Tao pier was perfectly on time exactly as we arranged via messenger the day before arrival. Next on the list was the smoothest possible check-in with lovely receptionist explaining us all the details and offering welcome drinks and wet towels to refresh. Meanwhile our luggage was taken to the golf cart which together with the receptionist took us to the villa we booked. In the villa the same receptionist took the time to show us everything and made sure we are all good (thumb up-well done lady!). It took us a while to comprehend it all, we felt for a while a bit like Alice in the Wonderland. We couldn’t decide whether to look from the spacious terrace and stay amazed by the views or jump in that bed which was absolutely amazing and comfortable and enjoy the views from there. I’m not even going to write about the equipment and furniture in the villa I will only say it was surprising how they were able to combine authenticity of the surrounding with the comfort these villas offer just amazing and pleasure from every point of view. When we thought it couldn’t get better, we were blown away by the breakfast the next morning, simply delicious and extremely wide selection of different food. We loved the swimming pool as well, clean, spacious, deep, offering nice views of course. If you would ask us whether we would stay again in The Tarna Align Resort when comming to Koh Tao again we would simply reply we will come to Koh Tao again just to stay in this resort and enjoy it more! Thanks to every staff member who made it great for us! See you soon... P.S. We were trying to find some cons or areas to improve but we couldn’t really, there was none. :)

Wow”
we had a wonderful stay at The Tarna Align. We had originally booked a deluxe room, but a few days before we arrived, we decided to upgrade to a seaview villa and we never regretted a second. The villa was absolutely stunning, Nespresso machine in the room, plenty of space, with a wonderful, soft and comfortable bed and What a view! The room is on a hilltop, but if you don’t want to go up the stairs you can be driven by a golf cart, an absolutely fantastic service. The food in the restaurants is incredibly good. We also ate at the sushi restaurant in the hotel and it is the best sushi we have ever eaten, highly recommend sushi mania. A waiter named Koko was the best, he always made sure that we had what we needed for both food and drink. He was incredibly nice, very professional and always met you with a smile. We had originally booked 4 nights at this hotel and it was very sad that we had to leave, but we had booked 4 nights in a hotel closer to the pier. We ended up staying at the other hotel for 1 night before checking out and checking in again at The Tarna. This is certainly our favorite hotel on Koh Tao and we will definitely be back

BEST resort in all of our South East Asia travels!!”
This was seriously the most amazing resort we stayed in! Welcomed with a drink, snack and ice towel - immediately we got a free upgrade to a villa. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the resort was, and our villa seemed brand new. It over looked the trees & ocean, beautiful sunset from our balcony every night .... and the comfiest bed you have ever slept in. The staff was always friendly, breakfast was an amazing buffet (best we have experienced on the trip) and pools always seemed quiet. The only cons would be a bit far from the beach (we just rented a scooter, lots of parking), tons of stairs to get to your room (although they provide golf cart service) and insanely loud frogs at night you can hear from you room. But all in all, it was the best resort of our trip! Can’t wait to come back

Amazing place”
We had the room with the private pool and it was absolutely amazing! The view is gorgeous, the pool is super clean! The room is specious and over all the hotel is beautiful . It have free shuttles few times a day so the hill is not a problem at all. The staff is so nice and so helpful I definitely recommend the hotel!!

Super Comfortable - Great Location”
I've stayed at many places on Koh Tao and this has been my favorite so far. Super comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Excellent Staff. The location is perfect. 5 Minutes from Sairee beach. Close enough to the action, but far enough away that you can get a good night sleep. Highly recommend.

Best stay in Thailand ”
Stunning view from our room being able to see the sunsets from the pools. Beds are like a cloud! Breakfast is the best we’ve had in Thailand so far. Shuttle to and from the beach multiple times a day. Staff friendly and helpful! Only knock is the bathroom doesn’t have a door to hide you from the rest of the room, so trying new foods in Thailand, makes it challenging with a partner present 😬

Nice hotel. ”
The hotel arranged a pick up from the pier for free. We didn’t know it but they came and waited for us anyway. Very impressive of first impression. Hotel staffs are nice and smile all the time. We got upgraded to a pool access during COVID time which we were the only guests in the hotel. The view from the pool is nice and felt like our private property. Lol. Some facilities like Sushi restaurant, Laundry service were closed but understandable. Swimming pools are always clean and upon request shuttle bus is a plus. I will recommend my friends and family to stay here.

Beautiful place, nice few, The BEST bed I have had in a while”
Stayed here 1 nice. Excellent staff and Amazing breakfast. The bed was so comfortable I never wanted to get out. Nice views of the ocean but 14 minute walk form the beach (however there is no need to walk if you dont want, they provide free golf card rides every 2 hours or 50 baht rides anytime you want) This place is great if you want to get away from the beach for a while

Lovely hotel with the best bed”
2nd time staying here. The bed is sooo comfortable. Sea view room is a must, the balcony at night is so worth it. Very calm resort!

Off the beaten path gem”
We loved our stay at Tarna. The room was very aesthetically pleasing, clean and we felt very relaxed. We stayed in a villa and had incredible sunset views. One of our best stays during our trip. That said the resort is up a hill from town, 10 minute walk. They have a shuttle, but the times weren’t always conducive. Though there are plenty of restaurants on the hill, so we didn’t mind this much. We would absolutely stay here again.

Great place to stay”
We booked the hotel for a night. Then, we were so impressed by the place, so we booked another night. There were pickup and drop-off service all day. The room is so clean and the bed is so comfy. What I like the most is the pool which is large and deep. We spend time most of our night time in the pool. Their breakfast was nice, too. You can also see the sunset from this hotel.

Excellent hotel, would visit again”
We stayed in the Jacuzzi king suite with sea view. -Room was big, view was amazing. -Staff is very friendly and will go above and beyond. -The pools are awesome, I think the round one was about 3.5m deep. -Breakfast was probably the best I've head in any hotel. Free freshly made fruit shakes and coffee / cappuccino. Thai food / and enough western choices like eggs or toast. Waffles and very delicious brownies. -Hotel was already waiting at the pier to pick us up and when checking out dropped us of on our new location (shark bay) is for free! It is quite a steep walk in the hotel and also the road to sairee Beach (15min) , so probably not a good hotel for old people or people with disabilities.
