Beautiful place to stay. We selected The Vira because of its close location to Waterbom and the Airport (for an early flight ) the final 2 days of our vacay and it didn’t disappoint. 2 Adults and 3 teens stayed in 2 poolside rooms. Arrived 2 hours early for check in from our previous hotel with the intention of leaving our bags and going to get some lunch but pleasantly surprised when one of our rooms was available and offered early check in. Positives : Asked for rooms close together and got interconnected which was awesome. Rooms clean and spacious. Shower large and water temp nice and hot. Beds comfortable ( not hard) Breakfast buffet had a great selection. Pancake and egg station, bacon, pastries and info selections. Coffee machine for selection of different coffee options. Pool was a lovely temperature. Not freezing cold. Pool towels decent for once. Staff are amazing! Friendly, happy and always accommodating. Located adjacent to the Lippo Mall which has a convenient grocery store located in basement. Walking distance to many restaurants, discovery mall and waterbom. 3 very good fixed price market stalls on the way! Negatives: the only negative I could mention would perhaps be the noise from the live music every night out the front of the mall. This did not impact us at all because it always stopped at around 10pm anyway. But if you were an early sleeper it might might effect you. The hotel supplied earplugs on check in. Otherwise a nice quiet place to stay. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

My son (19) and I stayed here for two days as did other family in their rooms. The drive from the airport is about 5 minutes with a lovely greeting by the driver at the airport. The lobby and the restaurant are pleasant with lots of comfortable chairs. There are even tables at the front, road side where you can sit with your feet in water! There a general selection of food at the buffet (included for us) and the staff are terrific. Room has good aircon, great balcony with rails to hang wet clothes. The rooms all surround the pool and there is plenty of sun beds and 6 are in the low water, very nice. Church next door with lots of happy singing on Sundays. The Lippo mall is directly across the road with food choices with food vans (we preferred other places). Bug range though. All outdoors with lots of lounge chairs. A ban plays outside every night and you can hear it until 10pm. Enter the mall and there is a reasonably priced supermarket with clothes, footwear and souvenirs. A big range of food and drinks. Best supermarket prices we found in the area too. There are several mini marts open 24 hours only a 1 minute walk away. When you leave the hotel lobby, cross the road and turn right. The next corner is a lane (along Lippo Mall) Keep walking (5 to 7 mins) down and you'll come to a restaurant...Pantai. You can walk through to Beach Jerman which has a long pathway to Kuta or simply stop at the beach and look at the sunset and fishing boats. Beautiful statue in the water. The area the hotel is in is called Tuban. A 5 minute walk to Kuta. The beauty of this hotel and area is you are away from all the madness 😊 but a quick walk will get you there. You could walk to the airport in 15 to 20 minutes by why do that when the hotel driver makes you so welcome! We're heading to Lovina for 12 days but will be back for 2 days and definitely staying at the Vira. If you're scrolling through all of the hotels trying to work out where to book, you can't go wrong with the Vira. Es
Nice hotel”
We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights at the end of December. The room was very spacious, big bed an also space for an additional bed for our son. Nice view to the pool. Bathroom was nice with toiletries, clean but could use a little work, the pass of time can be seen now. The best was the pool and the breakfast buffet! so many options to fit everyone. Location id close to the beach but unfortunately it is not worth it! so many plastic. Lots of shop shops and restaurants near by and 2 shopping centers. 15 mins away from airport.
