Room was very small, but the location right in front of the University was excellent.

Business hotel style, but location is very good for travelling as well as it is closed to Sapporo station and attractions. Staff are all very nice. Breakfast is quite simple, but ok for a day full.

Great value for solo traveller”

If you’re not willing to spend too much on a hotel room, yet don’t wanna stay in a hostel, this is for you! it is a no-frills business hotel. the room size is just right for a one pax. breakfast is very filling, there’s always rice, japanese style sweet egg omelette, salad, soup and bread. then there’s teriyaki chicken or meatballs on alternate days. delicious. free coffee in the morning. room facilities are adequate, toilet is clean as well. staff is friendly and helpful. many convenience stores around the area, short walk from Sapporo Station (JR gates). i just wish there were more hangers for my clothes.

STAY AT TOYOKO INN”

Poor, as given a smoking room, even though have earlier emailed our request for non-smoking. No reply to our email. When we request to change, was advised hotel fully booked. Was woken up by hotel phone ringing at 6 plus early morning, and did not ask for morning call.

location is good”

location is good, 10 min's walk to Sapporo station. Room is clean and all things are good but kettle. Once you heat a cup of water, you have to wait for 20 mins to heat another cup of water, which drives us crazy.

Upset with rude Staff at check-in counter”

During Check-in, I had asked for available English speaking staff. Staff said NO and proceeded to speak to me in mandarin. I am of asian descent but that does not mean that I can speak Chinese fluently or understand Chinese, assumptions should not be made by the staff. Nonetheless, I continued to converse to her in English and she said she speaks a little English. As check-in is a no brainer, I patiently spoke in simple English slowly so that she can understd. Unfortunately, she replied to me in mandarin again. I understd abit of chinese but not that well. I just barely caught what she said and asked again if there was someone else who could assist. She abruptly brushed me off by just passing the key to me and continued to shoot off her mouth with more info in mandarin. My sis & I checked out the next day. Unfortunately, we had to encounter her again. This time I asked my sister to do the checkout. My sis spoke to her Japanese as she had seen her conversing with her colleague in Japanese. My sis told her during checkout that we wanted to leave our bags & to be careful as we had some fragile items. The staff replied in mandarin that she is not responsible for any breakages if we were to leave our belongings in their care. We did have these fragile items with us in the other hotels and gave same instructions, those other hotel staff reply politely that they understood and we see them carrying our bags carefully into their holding room. Seemed like she doesnt want us to put our belongings there. My sis told her off in Japanese that she doesn't have to take such a tone and attitude as our request is not a major task to fulfill. We even said we will carry our bags to their allocated holding room if she doesn't want to do it. Such terrible service attitude, kinda spoiled our mood that day.

ANGRY!!! Keychain broke and I had to pay for it. If I had destroy it on purpose, no problem - received in other places they offered me a up grades if they had better rooms left then I boked. And Toyoko I was offered to pay for a keyfob!!!

对第一次去札幌的人来说会比较难找，但是熟悉了以后发现还是离车站很近的。旅馆虽小但是五脏俱全，床铺非常干净舒适，个人感觉是旅行几天住过的最舒服的旅馆。入住第一晚还送了张DHC的面膜，另外早上还有免费早餐提供，就是时间很短，注意调时差，否则容易错过。

スタッフは笑顔で親切。朝食もまあまあ。 北大の真ん前なので、北大のカフェでお茶できます。 今回ツインのお部屋でしたが、ベッドとベッドの間にバストイレがありました。 廊下側が暗くて、狭く感じます。
