Good location, stern staff, subterranean breakfasts”
The hotel is in a good spot for the Sorbonne or Latin Quartier. It was quiet and clean, and had all the facilities one might expect. The subterranean breakfast was very good, even if the room felt closed in. Everything worked. The decor was definitely not US hotel- style marble and glass, but it was understated and had its own quiet charm.
Unreliable Airport Transfer”
My recent stay at Villa Pantheon Hotel in Paris left much to be desired. While the location was decent and the room offered sufficient space, several issues marred the overall experience. Firstly, we had informed the hotel in advance about our need for airport transfer services and even confirmed our request with the necessary contact details. However, upon our flight's arrival, the promised airport transfer was suddenly unavailable without any explanation. This left us in a difficult situation, having to find our own taxi after a long journey. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were taken aback by the number of suitcases we had to handle. Unfortunately, the hotel staff offered no assistance despite witnessing our struggles with the heavy doors. It was disheartening to receive such indifferent treatment, especially considering the reputation of the hotel. Additionally, the breakfast served at the hotel was underwhelming. While breakfast is an essential part of any hotel stay, the offerings here were lackluster and did not live up to our expectations. It was far from the quality we would expect from a hotel of this caliber. On a positive note, the hotel's location was reasonably convenient, and the room provided enough space for our comfort. However, these positive aspects were overshadowed by the disappointments we encountered during our stay.
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff”
The hotel is perfectly located near to notre-dame and St. Michel. It is a beautiful building and decor. Especially the bathroom which is really luxury. The staff and service are all amazing. Very helpful and polite. They were always very happy to help and reception is staffed 24 hours. The unlimited continental breakfast is worth getting too. Nice selection of cereals, pastries, breads, cheeses etc and teas and coffees. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to visiting again. Merci beaucoup!!
