ตอนจองเลือกห้องคงพลาดเอง เข้าใจ ว่าจะได้อยู่ตึกสูง แต่ไม่ใช่ เป็นตึกเก่าที่อยู่ฝั่งตรงข้าม ความสูงของตึกประมาณ 7-8 ชั้น เริ่มนับชั้นระนาด คือชั้นที่ 5 เราได้ชั้น 4 เหมือนต้องเดินลงไปใต้ดิน 1 ชั้น เลยเสียความรู้สึกหน่อยๆเพราะไม่เห็นวิวอะไรเลย ห้องพักค่อนข้างน่ากลัว เอาราคา 3,000 บาท ไปจอง Guesthouse ตีนเขาน่าจะ OK กว่า ส่วนตึกใหญ่นั้น เหมือนจะมีคาสิโน ถ้าใครชอบก็เหมาะเจาะเลย ถ้าได้พักตึกใหญ่จริงๆ ราคาคงแพงกว่านี้ วิวต้องสวยค่ะ พลาดที่เราเอง ไม่ดู ให้ดีๆ สถานที่หาของกินก็ไม่ไกลจากตลาดนัดที่ใกล้สุดก็คงเป็น McDonald's ถ้าจะไปตลาดปลา ต้องขับรถ อีกประมาณไม่เกิน 10 นาทีก็ถึง ขยันก็เดินได้ ระหว่างทางบรรยากาศดี ที่พักนี้มีดีอย่างเดียวสำหรับเราคือที่จอดรถเป็นอาคารเลย ดีค่ะ

Really love this place. It has an older charm when you first walk into the lobby which actually really grows on you as the hotel feels so cozy, comfortable and welcoming everywhere. Buffet breakfast included which was enough but more healthy veg options would be nice! Our room was absolutely amazing, can't wait when we come back later. Small bits and bobs they include to make your stay feel like luxury such as a pillow menu, multiple rounds of housecleaning throughout the day, walk in wardrobe, bath and huge shower, ambient lighting, remote controlled blackout blinds and that magnificent harbour view. Multiple restaurants within the hotel, all serving delicious food. This hotel will hold a special place for me! Can't wait to come back later. They have a sauna here too 😍😍😍 staff are all so friendly😊 The only thing is in breakfast when that sun hits the water its literally blinding! I always find a shady spot but feel bad for people sitting at the window. I do think some remote controlled blinds would be good.

Great place to stay”
We stayed in the King Deluxe Mountain View. I feel like waking up to painting every morning due to the scenic view. Loved the free parking that's easily available- it's so close to all the right places. 25 mins to Mt Wellington summit, 30 minutes to ferry station in Kettering, 10 mins away from all the best places- museum, Salamanca Market, constitution dock, Hobart Night Market and all the spots in the south for stargazing. 5 mins to Coles or Woolies if needed. Clean bathroom too, friendly staff members. Probably the only thing that can be improved was the elevator- it felt out of place due to it looking more aged, and there is a bit of waiting time in the morning when people check out. But honestly, it is a great place overall. Will stay again and recommend to others. May not be family friendly though (for those with young kids) because there are so many signs towards the casino.

Best Value Hobart Accommodation ”
Whether you require budget accom in Wrest Point Motor Inn (2 floors no lift), mid range Water Side or really comfortable huge beds/rooms Tower, all come with the same facilities and all are comfortable, with the Tower being the most comfy due to higher quality fixtures, fittings. Great hot/cold breakfast so pay a touch more and grab that. Great pool, spa, gym etc for everyone included as well as free parking and great location next to the water. Bistro great value meals and Revolving Restaurant a wonderful treat. Loved it. Used it 3 times in 7 days. Go for it.

Possibly one of the best hotels in the world and Tasmania! ”
Pros: clean, safe, 24hrs reception, security guard , 9 restaurants, a revolving restaurants on top floor, clean bathrooms, and best rooms plus bathrooms., Mini golf course, boardwalk, indoor swimming pool and great gym with free apples and cafe. Cons: None. It’s the best hotel you will ever find with all the facilities you can just relax and have fun.

Excellent ”
We were checked In by the wonderful Mr WONG. TOP CLASS CHECK IN. The room was delightful over looking the harbour. Clean bug and quiet. We walked and we used Ubers to Salamanca etc. $7/8. Could not fault this place. Sauna spa pool and gym awesome and clean. Bars cafes and restaurants excellent and prices well.

Beyond my expectations ”
Compare some hotels in Hobart, this hotel is the best. Why? Because the room is big (water edge type), so clean, facilities e.g gym and pool is so cosy, viewing from room is superb, free huge parking lot, very friendly staffs, very good location beside waterfront and yards, and breakfast is good. We stayed 2 nights, and it gave me comfortable and happy.

Wrest Point Casino ”
Stayed in Tower, loved it. Stayed in Motor Inn - such good value. Returned stayed in Tower - bigger room, lift, bit better beds and pillows but can’t go past Wrest Point for accommodation and facilities. Whatever end of budget you are, great location, staff, facilities and value for money. All down to room size, view, lift and a bit more bed comfort. Either way, go for it. Won’t stay anywhere else.

Perfect stay at Motor inn”
My husband & I were pleased surprised with Wrest Points Motor Inn. Lovely room, clean and well appointed, every single staff member at Wrest Point that we had an interaction with, (from cleaning staff to Reception staff, to Cafe staff) were amazing. Could not fault them. Breakfast at the Boardwalk Cafe was superb. A most enjoyable stay all round.

Room with a view”
Wrest point waterfront rooms are just divine! We really enjoyed our preordered breakfast, delivered to our door and eaten at our dining table over looking the beautiful river. This place just feels special and is a convenient drive into Hobart waterfront or CBD. Small rooms, but nice and clean and enough space for two people. We will return!

Great accomodation at a reasonable price! ”
Firstly, the accomodation was at a prime spot near the city which made it extremely convenient to commute. The staff were all very cooperative and friendly and the rooms were all very clean with a great view. Overall, I really loved my stay here! So many great food and drink options within the property too!

Awesome Place to Stay!”
Wrest Point would have to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! The customer service, cleanliness of the rooms and breath-taking views were 10/10. There are numerous restaurants on site so you don't have to go far for a great meal. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Great place to stay in Hobart ”
We had a king mountain view room in the tower. Rooms were big, very clean and the view was awesome. We had breakfast included and it was a great way to start. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Overall a fantastic place to stay. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

Pleasantly Surprised”
After reading multiple negative reviews regarding the Motor Inn, I was bracing myself for a dodgy, dirty, unsafe shack. However, I was extremely surprised to enter a brightly lit, freshly painted room. I found the room a little noisy in terms of neighbouring voices and water flowing through pipes. The layout and decor is the same as over at the Water Edge and in the older, lead in Tower rooms, just without a view. If you don’t mind the dated, orange decor with carpark views, this room type would make an great, affordable base. However, if you are after modern luxuries, the refurbished Tower Rooms are probably more appropriate for your needs.

Nice finish to Tassie holiday”
We had booked the Inn 7 months ago and requested upgrade to the Tower on arrival. We paid a small increase in the rate and had a fab room facing Mt Wellington. Nice and close to BatteryPt, Sat markets and city centre. Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and had plenty of space.

When I booked through agoda I got a fantastic deal for the Motor Inn but upon check in was upgraded to the Tower. I was extremely impressed with the staff, cleanliness, the location & the overall atmosphere & did I mention the UPGRADE! A must if travelling to Hobart, Wrest Point will not disappoint!

Last stayed here 20 years ago and the quality was just as good. Although we stayed in one of the tower rooms not yet refurbished it was excellent. Magnificent view, Cleanliness exceptional , bathroom gleamed. Staff here wonderful and every single one we came into contact with was friendly and helpful.Some of the facilities like shuttle buses etc were not operating because of covid and the renovations are not quite complete but it didn't matter. We will be back to sample the new facilities soon,.

Great value, great service”
My stay at Wrest Point was fantastic. I had a small plumbing issue in my bathroom which was fixed straight away. The gift shop was closed on Sunday but they opened it for me so I could make my purchase.I booked a table in the Boardwalk Bistro for a large group of my relatives who I haven't seen for 3 years and they cordoned off a section for our party.The food was outstanding and great prices. Would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here next time I come to Hobart.

Pearl in the south ”
We enjoyed our stay and the harbour view was great! The staff are friendly and the place is clean. Enjoy the dinner buffet too. May be pricey but its lovely. Very comfy bedding. Thanks for a wonderful time in Hobart.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Loved the location. Close to everything. Great room, clean and staff helpful and accommodating. Bistro and restaurants are good value for money and meals are satisfying. We will stay here again.
