Find Hotels in Thach That District, Vietnam

This is a very nice Resort close (4km) to 2 beautful 18 hole golf courses (King Island). In December the Resort will open its own 9 hole 24 hours golf course. The Resort itself is very local. Only a few persons spoke english and breakfast is local too (but very good). At this time of the year weekends were crowded and during the week there were only a few guests. Internet is not available in the Villas! Not much to do outside the Resort. Nearby are the oldest pagodas TEACHER & TAY PHUONG PAGODAS that I didn't visit. As an alternative, western food (including breakfast)is very good at the Kings Island Golf Clubhouse. In short, a very nice location for Golfers and People including children that want to escape a few days from hectic Hanoi (40 km).

This hotel was chosen to get away from the Trump - Kim meeting in Hanoi. The rooms were clean. The only problem was the number of lizards found in the room. There is no restaurants around the area of the hotel, so you must use the facility in the hotel. In consequence, they have got you and consequently, the price for all meals are exorbitant. Prices are 3 times the price that you would pay for a similar dish in Hanoi. The food I had was very fatty and did not taste good. The major problem with the hotel is that it used by Chinese and Korean touring parties, so they turn up at night, wake the dead with their shouting and slamming of doors. This happens again in the morning when they descend for breakfast and scrape their chairs on the floor. This screeching sound resonates through the whole building.The person cooking the eggs (cannot be described as a chef!) on the Thursday was seen to lick his chopsticks before stirring the egg into an omelette.
