Great place for relaxing!!”
Beautiful Thai’s old style house with lake view, fast WiFi, very attentive staffs, great breakfast, delicious cocktails at the quite private beach bar. Isolated location keep this place away from a tourists (which was we wanted!). You might need a car to go to another restaurant/bar or you can hire the bus service from the resort.

What a peaceful spot!”
We stayed here 2 nights whilst doing a road trip from Krabi to Bangkok in March 2019. What a great find! Something totally different & unique to do. This resort started after the 2004 tsunami when the existing cashew nut plantation was destroyed. The wooden houses are set around a lake, near the sea. It was too hot to walk to the beach but there’s a shuttle tuktuk at your disposal plus bikes for the guests to use, or you can drive if you came by car! The house was comfortable although the aircon wasn’t great. I would have been really interested to learn more about cashew nuts and felt that an information leaflet would have been of great interest. We wandered around the extensive grounds and found cashew trees and some fallen nuts, I tried to open one but it was gooey inside so I gave up, luckily I washed my hands straight away because later when I googled cashews I discovered that they are high,y poisonous when raw! So not only would some information have been interesting, it would could also be of great importance to alert people to the hazards of the raw nuts!! That said, we enjoyed our stay here. It wasn’t the best food we’ve had but the location more than made up for that! I would definitely came back if we are in the area again.

Staffs are very freindly and try to listen our requests. But... problem is that beach resutaurant is closed 19:00PM if there is no customers. I think they should open at least 22:00PM...

The biggest pros are the unbelievably friendly and helpful staff and the huge area of the resort. In both direction you can walk 5km without finding anybody. Food and prices are ok. It’s a bit far away for party people but perfect tho chill and just enjoy.

Serene and Peaceful Stay”
Excellent and wonderful stay in Thailife Homestay Resort and Spa. It's our wind down stay after a live aboard diving trip. We were greeted by the staff the moment we reached. After a breeze checked in, we were led to our villa and the room is ready with the AC being switched on. A short briefing was given on the room, the pantry and the bathroom. Love the bathroom with outdoor concept and rain shower. The villa is facing the lake. We had our dinner by the lake. It was nice and peaceful. The villas are surrounded by greens and fruit trees. You will be delighted to be woken up by birds chirping in the morning. You may rent a bike for free and cycle around the compound and to the private beach. If you do not fancy cycling, hotel tuk tuk can send you to and from the beach. The tuk tuk also goes to the market nearby but is on schedule. The staffs are attentive to our request. We rent a motorcycle with them and been guided to visit Baan Nam Kem Tsunami memorial park and few temples around. We also booked a tour to Khao Sok National Park and been treated to a wonderful tour including elephant trekking, canoeing on Khao Sok river and a visit to Takuapa old market. Do try out the massage service from the spa center, it is excellent and the charges are so reasonable. One hour Thai Massage only cost THB300. You can also have the massage by the beach. The staffs in Thailife have done an excellent job including the housekeeper whom kept our room clean. We feel like at home and would visit them again.

Perfect for Relaxation”
The Thailife Homestay is in a perfect peaceful location amongst natural surroundings. Its like having your own home, but with the convenience of hotel service. The rooms are elegantly designed individual wooden Thai style villas set around a lake. The extensive unspoilt beach is a short walk, or hotel tuk tuk ride away and has a beach bar and massage huts. The rooms have a small kitchen area and are luxuriously furnished in Thai style. The housekeeping at this hotel is faultless. Breakfast is an extensive buffet with Thai and international dishes, with the best coffee and bacon I have ever had. The restaurant also has an extensive evening menu with very well priced set menus each day alongside the a la carte options. The hotel pool, located near reception, is very new and well designed with fully adjustable large parasols, not just the umbrella style often found. When staying here it's best to have your own transport although the hotel does arrange trips to the local market and you can book other excursions too. Altogether, Thailife Homestay exceeded our expectations for a relaxing and peaceful stay in natural and unspoilt surroundings.

Great and Relaxing”
my husband and i loved our 5-day stay at thailife! we stayed in a huge villa overlooking the small lake. we biked to the beach down a short path (4 min. bike ride) or they offer free transport when available. on the second day we did an amazing day trip to tachai island with sea star (will also write a review for that) and would highly recommend it. very quiet beach, although rough water, and the sand was on the course side. it was very relaxing reading or napping under the umbrellas. good and reasonably priced thai and oil massages in huts on the beach. about 30 minutes from khao lak beach area if you have transport you can go there for the action (food and shopping). otherwise, it is in a remote area with not much going on if you are looking for a quiet getaway. the hotel offers free bikes for your ride to the beach (but bike supply is limited and there is not enough if the resort is full). the coconut ice cream was the best and highly recommended. to be fair, i will also list the downsides: 1) food service and food quality 2) room was difficult to cool down (big and poorly insulated) 3) shower was luke warm and never got hot 4) no pool 5) my bike was taken on the second day (couldn't figure out by whom but the resort was full and most likely taken by hotel staff for another guest) to elaborate on the food service, the servers were really inefficient and food often takes a long time to prepare. once you get the food, the servers never check up on you therefore leaving you to get up and ask for dessert or additional drinks, etc. overall, the staff are friendly and try to meet all your needs. they will arrange day trips, transportation, and try to help you in any way they can. smiles all around. overall wonderful trip and we would go back for a quiet piece of paradise!!

Pleasant, Quiet, Clean, Relaxing,Natural surrounds”
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Thai Life Homestay. We had a rental car(recommended)to explore the area and did not spend much time at the resort in the day though.The resort itself is beautiful. The beach is about 10-15 minutes walk from the resort but was full of rubbish and deserted because of recent rough seas and the low season.(A common sight in Thailand) A few local food stalls could be found a few km from the resort next to the main road in the afternoons with good and cheap food. Its about a 30min drive(50km) to Khao lak and about 20 minutes drive(20km) to Takua Pa town. The resort is only 40km from Sri Phang Nga National Park which we visited twice during our stay. (Highly recommended) Breakfast was adequate but could be improved. I will easily go back to Thailife Homestay resort.

Great room, quiet area, smiling staff”
we stopped here on our way to koh khor khao because we couldn't reach the ferry on time (18.00). the room was a pleasant surprise with great sukhothai style setup. only thing we missed was a real reason or selling point why people should book this resort. although it is a nice resort, there is nothing special there. we live in thailand so exploring local village with a bicycle was not that interesting for us, but maybe that might be interesting if you were new to thailand. didn't eat lunch or dinner, but breakfast was better than your average thai resort breakfast. it is a new resort and they are still building more rooms, but construction work didn't bother our stay. homestay is a bit misleading name for this place. only one negative thing about our stay. we were told to check out at 12am which was normal but around 11am maids started to wait in front of our room to clean it. when i carried our first bag into our car around 11.30am one maid went into the bathroom to clean while my wife was taking a shower. this was not very nice and no apologies was offered. we got great low season price so it was well worth of the price anyway. to sum it up, great room, nice small beach with friendly staff. i will probably go again in the future if the price is right.

great resort. the owners had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. staff very friendly. accommodation is excellent-really nice outdoor shower. Free bikes to cycle around the resort and to their private beach -5 minutes cycle max. The beach is long, follows the coast - you can walk down it and not see anyone. would definitely visit again. NB. It's not in Khao Lak itself but just outside

My unique holiday with NATURE”
ThaiLife has provided me a perfect stay with friendly attitude from employees. I kind of felt like being at my own home. Furthermore the bikeride around the resort and towards the beach were fantastic with lots of countryside atmosphere and freshair.My trip came to an end by watching the sunset at the beach and dipping in the salted water pool....Overall I would recommend ThaiLife to anyone who wish to pursue a peaceful holiday with the sounds of NATURE. Pleasant Stay At Thai Life”
Thai life is the Lovely Thai Style Bungalow located around the small lake , the room is beautifully decorated with all necessary amenities, its charming is also the outdoor shower and the small lovely kitchen. The beach is about few minute ride by bicycle ,which you can take it from the reception, it is the long beach along the coast and highly recommended for spending the memorable sunset time on the beach. The breakfast is okay comparing for the accommodation price. Overall it is highly recommended and it is one of the best resort I ever stay in Thailand. BTW, the location is a bit far from the center of Kao Lak, it is best if you have your own transportation.

Quite and relaxing”
i loved the time i had at thai life. the lady manager was great (alex)and very helpful she booked us a great tour to the surin islands. the food was great and the chef came out every night to ask if everything was okay. in fact all the staff were wonderful and very smiley. we were lucky to meet the lovely owners and they organised a loy kratong festival at the resort. thai buffet, thai dancing and music, lighting the lantens and floating the offerings on the lake - a very memorable experience. the villas are the best i've stayed in as they are constructed to a very high standard and are brand new. lovely shower,bed and windows looking onto gardens, trees and lake. great verandah views. one of the best things was riding the free bikes around the countryside. you will ride on quite roads and see the real thai lifestyle and no tourists. the beach is amazing - not a single building anywhere to be seen - just pure nature. we had a cocktail every evening as the sun set. the beach is a gorgeous 4 min ride on the bike (or 8min walk or they will drive you in the truck for free). the spa is gorgeous, they have a wonderful set up. the massages were some of the best i've had - the only the down side was they never went for the full time you allocated (finished approx 15mins early both times). overall an excellent stay and i'll definitely return one day if i can. it's perfect for a quite, beach/countryside retreat. we loved it and wish we stayed more than 4 nights.

Nice retreat ”
This is a spread out all bungalow resort. Super quiet embedded in gardens around a lake. The Bungalows are traditionally thai style with lots of wood and are spacious. Beach is 5 min by foot and has a few sun beds etc set up from the hotel. Really nice private stretch of beach. We were here in rain season so we could not use it but it looks great 👍 pool has a good size and is salt water. Very nice The resort is run by a lovely thai family and caters perfect to a secluded retreat. Big book and DVD library available. Food is simple and good and menu has enough choices to stay in for a few days. If you look for a busy hotel near the city you are wrong here ! But if you look to relax and unwind then it’s a perfect fit :-) Due to the remoteness it’s best to rent a car at Phuket and drive up there then you are mobile and can easy do the needed distances. We loved it and will be back soon

Can't Get Much Better”
The Bungalows are so well down and yet are a just a bit rustic. Some feature outdoor shower which is delightful. The rooms make you feel relaxed the moment you walk into them. The grounds and beach are lovely. The beach is about a ten minute walk and they have bikes if you want to take the bike to the beach. You go there to relax, it is not really a beach resort per se, the beach is just another great part of it. If you like getting away, love nature and something a little unique this place is for you. I would say it is pretty close to paradise.

Thailand offers a great atmosphere, quiet, privacy for people who want to relax. The hotel is equipped with modern facilities and traditional Thai massage and spa, an exercise bike for Nature. Private beach, but quite a bit of a bike. The hotel is quite far from town, they are quite a lot. Not suitable for those who like to travel in the city and nightlife.
