Be warned - the hotel insist we hand over our passports to be kept in their safe”
The hotel is spacious and clean. We booked their group tour but they squeeze 7 persons into the jeep; driver is reckless and always blows his horn. Better to book your own private jeep if you want to spend more time at the white sand dune (no public bus goes there). The driver either lost his way or delayed arriving there earlier so we are forced to ride their ATVs. Red bus 9 (VN35K) takes 45min from Phan Thiet train station to the hotel. You can go to red sand dune, fairy stream and fishing village on your own. Take either bus 1 or 9 (VN13K) to get to Red sand while on the way there you will pass by Fairy Stream so you'd know where to alight when coming back. These three you can easily accomplished within 4 hours. Eating at 105 Nguyen Dinh Chieu "BE AN BI" makes good sense for the budget traveller; it's half the cost compared to restaurants. Bus 9 goes to Lotte Mart then take an official taxi VN50K 5mins to the train station as not all Bus 9 from hotel goes to Phan Thiet train stn
Infested with flying cockroaches. Would have been a decent stay if it weren't for them.
This place is good and right next to hanh cafe bus service so that's an advantage. The breakfast is very good and the staffs always greet you with smile. It's located near to some affordable cafe and restaurants also so I would suggest this place.
Good value for money spent”
The Thao Ha hotel is close to beach and to all amenities you would need (shops, restaurants, motorbikes rent, etc.) . You can choose for small additional surcharge to add breakfast which is good quality and at minimum you don't need to run on the morning into the street. Do not expect some luxury for that room price, but if you are like us - we need to have our private bathroom and good bed to sleep, to take rest after all around discovery. We don't need to spent the time of our holiday in hotel room, and more over there is the outside pool too, because in the ocean it is hard to take a bath. I would recommend it for travelers like us, even for longer stay in.
Acceptable hotel ”
The hotel is just few steps away from my bus station back to Saigon. So the location is really good for my family as we go with 2 little children. The breakfast is quite good and fair for the price of rooms. The rooms are exactly like in photos. The pool itself is not so clean but the water gets changed everyday. We actually needed to travel 3km away from the hotel to come to a beach with larger sand area. The beach across the road is not beautiful and you cannot go swim there actually. Anyway, you get what you pay for and we feel ok with this hotel.
Spacious room - wonderful view!”
I stayed in the deluxe sea view, it was spacious and immaculate! However, there were a few wasps that made it into the room that I had to fight out, the aircon was a bit weak but the outside balcony was super breezy! Buffet breakfast was satisfactory, standard choices. I would stay here again! Staff are friendly
The breakfast is good.”
The stay there is ok. We booked a sea view room and it is nice. The water at the night is not hot enough. Given Muine's warm weather, it is still acceptable. The staffs help us book a bus to Dalat. Although it is cheap, the bus is very small and crowded, making the tour not comfortable. The breakfast there is good. Although there is no much choices, all the food provided is delicious. There is a pool in front of the lobby but I suspect the water is not clean. None uses it. Overall it is a small hotel but it is clean and worthy the money.
Quiet place to stay in Muine”
A bit old hotel but very well for maintenance. Elevator is avaible here. The hotel is not next to beach but swimming pool is available. If you are not interested in beach and looking for place to overnight after short trip to sand dune, here may be your another choice.
I really recommend this hotel...Staffs are friendly and helpful. Spacious room big bathroom and balcony i got the room at the front of hotel so i enjoy pool view. Good breakfast escpecially Beef noddle. You can buy Muine tour at the hotel with reasonable price / bus ticticket to Hojiminh also. Have alot of resturant around tge hotel...tou should try Lobster its very cheap around 800-1200 bath/ Kg.
Off the Beach but nice rooms and staff”
Sometimes this hotel can be quite cheap to book. As it is off the beach it means less popular. They have a nice little pool, great staff, and clean rooms. The A/C and hot water both worked. It is within easy walking distance of great restaurants like Joe's Cafe, variety stores like Mui Mart, and the beach itself. The only thing I didn't like was the breakfast. It was very basic, cold coffee, and little help. It seems like you can order an omelete or eggs from kitchen but no where does it tell you that.
nice hotel, great location, quiet”
Hotel is nice and in good condition. Room is simple and spacious, the bed comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The area is very quiet, but close to all the restaurants, bars etc... Breakfast was good too. The swimming pool looked nice, although the cleanliness may have been questionable.
This is a comfortable hotel in dalat”
This hotel is not far from Dalat Market. The hotel is too new near many Rest. We very enjoy with this place. However we checked in too early morning , we appliciated that hotel have waiting room for our belonging. Moreover we very enjoy with Breakfast. Their test are cool and many variation for our choices. Whole trip with this Hotel is cool one. We hope to be there once we go to Dalat again
Large rooms but no direct access to beach”
the hotel is located close to many eating places, all within walking distance. just outside the hotel, there are at least 3 convenience shops and several shops selling swim wears and clothes. within 5 minutes of walk, you can reach the well-known nha hang lam tong and nha hang ngoc suong. lam tong's food is acceptable and value for money while ngoc suong's food is better and slightly higher cost. you can access to the beach by crossing the nuygen dinh chieu road and walk through either other resorts or pubs. the beach is not so good due to strong waves, making it unsuitable for relax swim but good for water sports.
Very clean and new, pity it wasn't on the beach”
as hotel is on the opposite side of the road to the beach i found it hard to find my way to the beach as most properties had no access or "private" signs up, except through a bar up the road, but would feel guilty doing that too often without buying a drink or food. next time i'd find a hotel with beach access.
Spacious room and good breakfast”
we had a nice spacious room (superior garden view) on the 5th. floor. two small balconies, view of the sea from the bed which was very nice. the room door was opaque glas, which made the room very light, when the hall light was on. no bedside lamps for reading. very good breakfast buffet. no easy access to the beach though, you had to walk through the beachside resorts or restaurants. pool looked a bit murky, not very inviting. friendly staff. good internet connection in room.
Beautiful hotel, Great Breakfast”
we stayed at thao ha because it was in the location we wanted but not as expensive as most others (even though for this hotel we decided to pay much more money and have a few luxury days after so much travel). first thought was that this hotel was fancy and absolutely fantastic. we walked in passed the swimming pool and lounge chairs and saw the outdoor restaurant and fancy lobby. our room was large with a balcony and air-con as well as flat screen and hot water. the staff were friendly and the room was kept spotless every day. there was also a good view from the roof. the free breakfast was amazing with a wide selection (including cereal), all delicious and you could go back for more. however the restaurant is expensive when you are paying your own way. we had an absolutely lovely stay at this hotel and although a bit on the expensive side (at least for us backpackers and that was even with an agoda special (but the staff let us stay another night for the same price)) we would definitely return. tours are however cheaper at other places, other than that we had no problems.
So so hotel”
It is nice location in Nguyen Dinh Chieu street.
Nothing much to review on. Decent for a one night stay if you're on Mui Ne. Anything longer than that, i probably wouldn't recommend.
The room was clean. Breakfast is good and delicious. The hotel is located opposite the beach. We have to walk across the street and walk through another hotel to get to the beach. However, This hotel is good for stay and reasonable price!
Fine place for budget price”
I stayed at the twin bed room and satisfied about the hotel. I didn't expect much because the room was cheap. - Breakfast is pretty good, has many choices and fresh fruits. - They have a garden you can smoke. There are a few big palms and plants but I can't say it's beautiful. - The swimming pool is not that tiny so you can SWIM, not just sink your body in water. Also there is a bathroom outside so you can use the swimming pool and shower after you check out. - Close to the bus lines to other cities. You can get to the bikes in a few minutes. Things would be improved such as: - Swimming pool is not in good condition. They hardly clean water. And they use a weard motor to circulate pool water, it makes really big noise. - Housekeeping service is poor. It seems like they hardly swipe the floor. I felt they only change towels and toiletries, that's all. - The staffs are not helpful. While I was at eh swimming pool, I saw several people looking for the staffs to check in because the reception desk is often vacant.
