Peaceful hotel in a wonderful town”
We had a great week-long stay! The hotel is in a spacious old building with wooden floor. The room was clean with high ceilings, big windows (with mosquito nets so you can have fresh air at night) and lots of natural light. Bed was comfortable, Wifi and AC worked great. Location was good: next to a local market, and about 900 meters away from a supermarket. The breakfast was very simple: coffee, home baked bread & jam. You can get a proper early breakfast in the food court in the market and later have coffee & toast for dessert. The owner was very friendly and speaks great English. The bathroom and shower is good but doesn't have any sound-proofing from the rest of the room so that might cause some inconvenience if you are a private person.

Charming old house, recommend to stay while visiting Phanga Town”
Good location, local life around, beautiful house with lovely rooms. Enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast on the terrace by the street. Nice to observe road and passers by. Owners are very friendly and welcoming.

Super helpful staff”
We made a reservation of one night but because of sudden changes in our itinerary we did not stay the night here and stayed on a overnight trip in the bay. The owner was super helpful to help us, gave us great advice (including a wonderful noodlebar) and did not mind our changes. We did see the rooms and facilities and they are basic but everything you need was there. Would recommend!

More a guesthouse than a hotel...”
The place it self was clean, but when we arrived we realized that our room had only a fan, and no AC. When I explained the situation to the person in charge he told me that we booked a fan room, and to upgrade we had to pay 300B extra per night. Overall, we tought it was overpriced, and Thaweesuk should call itself a guesthouse and not a hotel. (You basically live in the family area...they also asked us to do our own dishes: we were shocked since we payed for an hotel, and were very disappointed in the service we received regarding what we were expecting from a hotel...) For example, if we wanted hot water, the manager wouldn’t give it to us directly, but would ask one of his children to do it instead. Details like that explain the rate we gave for this « hotel ».

A 3-Star Hotel with 5-Star Hospitality”
We had a pleasant stay at Thaweesuk. Dang the Manager was superb and his recommendations really enlightened our stay at Phang Nga. The Hotel is within walking distance to Phang Nga morning market (please try the local delicacies there, cheap & delicious), amenities (convenience stores, pharmacy, banks, forex service, eateries, fast food - KFC & supermarkets). Phang Nga itself is not really a touristy area but if you would like to sample small town lifestyle, Thaweesuk is the place.

Fantastic stay!”
We had a great time at Thaweesuk! Spacious room with great wifi and an amazing view on the roof which you are free to go up to anytime! The best bit about staying here in particular was being able to leave our washing with the staff and rent a bike for a couple of days to discover all around Phang Nga! We enjoyed it so much we booked another stay and it really is a great loaction! Head left on the bike from the hotel and you will get to the beautiful coast and some very impressive temples, if you go right you will end up at Sa Nang Manora National Park which is absolutely stunning! You get a free breakfast in the morning and we had all of our washing cleaned and folded up ready for us before we left for our next destination. The manager was so kind and very helpful giving us ideas of where to go and what to see, and also how we would go about getting to our next stop! 10/10!

GREAT THAILAND HOSPITALITY”
it was one of the most pleasant stay that we have experienced throughout our travel to Thailand for may years. The owner, Dang is a very nice person, who is more than willing to help you. He has recommended us activities to do in Phang Nga, a lesser known area compared to Krabi and Phuket! We will recommend friends to come here and experience a stay at Dang's Thaweesuk Hotel. Our stay at Thaweesuk Hotel is a remarkable one, thanks to Dang.

Boutique Guest house in Phang-Nga down town ”
I chose this place as this is an old style building converted to be chic accommodation, but very clean. It provides public area to sit, talk and see some Historical places in This city. Owner who run business give some interesting recommendations to visit places in Phang-Nga town. It' s near fresh market, where easy to find local Southern food. The deck of hotel provides panoramic view of Moutain surrounded. My mom & I were impressed with hospitality of owner. We would go back next trip in Phang-Nga.

Close to PhangNga Bay”
This hotel was the perfect choice for my group as we plan to explore phang nga bay and continue to krabi. The hotel owner was very welcoming and helpful in booking tours and taxi. Convenience stores are also available left and right. There seems to be no night life around, which would be perfect for family stays as well. I would recommend this to group travelers that want to visit phang nga bay, krabi, or khao sok.

Comfortable”
The main reason to visit Phang-Nga is to take a boat out to Phang-Nga Bay, as the town itself is largely just one long road. However we were stuck here a little longer as my girlfriend was not that well. Thaweesuk Hotel was a comfortable place for us to stay, and the staff were nice. Only breakfast is served and it was fine - we like to go out for our other meals. And if you do have to stay in your room - as we did - there don't seem to be any international TV channels. Fortunately the WiFi was fine though. Overall, although we had to stay longer than we wanted, we were happy at Thaweesuk Hotel.

Budget hotel”
I don't want to be over critical of this hotel as it was extremely cheap so you get what you pay for. However it is not a 3 star hotel! It's just basic budget accommodation. The room we had was their delux room, but I found it odd that they had children's cartoon stickers on the wall for decoration?! Just not what you'd expect! I also didn't like the fact that despite having breakfast included in our rate with agoda they charged us extra when we checked out! They offer you two options for breakfast-continental or American. At no point did they say only the continental is included in the agoda rate. It wasn't worth arguing over a few hundred baht but I just think these things should be explained upfront to the customer. On a positive note, it is definately worth staying in phang nga bay town to do the trip round the bay rather than pay over the odds for an organised tour from further afield. We paid 1500 baht each with MT Tours an there were only 7 of us on the trip. We had lunch on a deserted island (we were the only ones there) which was amazing. It was only as we were leaving that a tour of 40 odd people descended on the place. There are also some nice walks you can do around the town if you have a bit of time before or after your tour.

Excellent staff, quiet room, clean, well maintaine”
I would summarize by saying I would stay there again, and will if I return. I did not take the breakfast there (I have dietary issues), but from what I saw it looked as though it was good. The location is on the main street but was quiet at night and I was near the back. The lobby often had other guests relaxing there and was set up well for that purpose. The staff/owners were wonderful people and helpful in making sure I knew how to get around to where I was going. The room was a little small but the A/C worked well, the water was hot, and the bed was the best mattress I have been on anywhere in Thailand. Clean, and well kept room and hotel. I would recommend it to anyone. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not in that category. If you want clean, comfortable, well priced with friendly and helpful service included, then this would be for you.

Disappointing ”
Thaweesuk hotel is an historic,, nicely renovated shop house. The rooms are simple but pleasant and there are several, very nice communal areas that guests can use. Unfortunately., the hotel is let down by its uncaring staff. The hot water service in our room was broken and no attempt to fix it was made, nor were we moved into another room. We do not find cold showers enjoyable. Breakfast was included in the cost of our room. The first day we chose to eat breakfast out, however when we asked to have breakfast the second day we were unable as there was no bread! This is dispite the fact that there are many shops selling bread very close by. Unfortunately, the young woman in charge of the hotel was completely uninterested in her guests or their needs and when we checked out did not even bother to look up from her phone to acknowledge that we had placed our room key on the desk or say "goodbye". All in all it was a very disappointing stay in a really lovely building.

good experience”
The owner of the hotel is very good - english speaking and helpful- for the money, you can't beat this hotel. It wasn't a 5-star type hotel, but I was very happy there and would stay there again. PS ask the owner about the hotel history (which he is very into) and you'll get great stories

Great little place to stay”
Overall, it was a small but very nice place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful, theres a tv and good internet, and it's not too far from the bus station. Quite location and there were caves and a park to explore, about a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Would definitely recommend to stay here :)

Nice ambient if you like authenticity more than modern sterility. Rooms a little smaller as expected but the host is evening the score again;) Nice and calm. Aircon working silent and powerful. Wonderful view from roof terrace.
