I'm amazed with the staff, they're helpful and very kind. The price we paid worth every peny because the room was big, comfortable, clean and the extrabed fit just right. One thing missing from the experience was the weather, overcast covering Mount Semeru. But, overall I loved staying in The 101 Malang OJ

Very pleasant stay at The 101 Hotel Malang OJ. The rooom is clean and spacious. Good location, near cullinary places. Enjoy the view from roof top restaurant while having nice breakfast. Special thanks for the friendly staffs (Lya, Sherly, Wulan, Amanda, Diva, Bachtiar, Stegel, Imel, Putra, Sheila, Sisca, Joko, Arif W, Elok dan Nabila) for the warm surprise and complementary cake+drink. Stayed here for one night in August 2022. Pros: 1) This is a very good business hotel with excellent facilities. 2) The Hotel is very clean modern and inviting. 3) The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. The sizes adequate. 4) The WIFI was free with good connectivity and great speed. 5) The staff was courteous and helpful. 6) The breakfast spread was excellent. There were good vegetarian choices. The breakfast started early (6 am). 7) The rooftop restaurant was excellent. The service was fast. The food quality great. We had our best Nasi Goreng of the trip right here. 8) The tariff was cheap. 9) The place is quiet and the sleep quality great. Cons: 1) Although we didn't explore much, it looks like the eating and transportation choices were limited close to the hotel.
