“Basic hostel in cool heritage building ”

Positives: perfect location on love lane, in the centre but far enough away that it isn’t loud at night, clean room, water dispenser, great atmosphere/social area, big lockers to fit bags, shelf on bunk, communal fridge Negatives: no curtains, but set out of beds in 4 bed room gave some privacy, basic showers, but hot and cold water, towels were old, very old building so creaky floorboards

    “Perfect hostel for solo travelers”

I have been to several hostels in Southeast Asia and I must say this one had an unexpected charm. It’s not the most stylish hostel but despite its simplicity, you will feel comfortable. It’s clean. The common area is good too to talk with fellow travelers. Wifi’s fast too. Value for money indeed!

“Good value in a unique shophouse”

Location: strategic, there’re many bars and a small night market within 100m. The popular Teksen Restaurant is just at the street opposite. There’s a bus stop, if you’d like to go anywhere - National Park, take 101. Facilities: a common space to talk with fellow travellers, (there is a TV and some movie CDs but I didnt try them). The air-con room is six double-deck beds with a socket and a lamp beside your bed. The beds are separated by a guard so others can’t see your head when u lie down. There’s a locker. The common toilet has shower rooms and restrooms. Cleanliness: the house itself is very old. You see worn-out wood door and sodium light bulbs in toilet and common space, and brick walls. But the floor is clean and facilities are maintained. Staff: friendly, they guide you when you have doubts. Yes, it’s good value. If you don’t mind living in an old shophouse and share room with strangers, you’re welcome.

    “Clean”

This hostel was super clean and had a nice “modern” vibe to it. Not very social if you want to meet others, but location was good. The receptionist/staff were not very helpful or friendly. They are not there most of the time if you have any issues. Overall was a clean and quiet spot. Beds were comfortable
