I paid SGD 1,643.20 for two rooms here: was it worth it? No it is not. Staff: our favourite two staff were the buggy drivers Irfan and Tata. The housekeeping team is bad. Cleanliness: upon checkin, no towel in my suite. Constantly asked the housekeeping team to provide the right towels and finally had to make a complaint at the reception desk. A male staff who delivered me towels one of the nights told me to use a bath towel for the bathroom floor. In the evening when I return from island hopping I opened my suite door and found a clump of hair just in front of my door. Also housekeeping does not re stock on toiletries, I guess we have to explicitly ask? Worth the money: I'd always assume that premium suites are located on upper most floor of a hotel but this time I was wrong. Instead the premium suite is located in building #2 and at utmost ends of every floor. The space of the suite is big but it's not worth the money I paid for. Breakfast is okay =) same dishes every morning. Location: this place is close to patong but not in the diry parts of bangla st which I appreciate. Grab is v expensive now in Phuket Heads up! More expensive than in Singapore I feel.

The worst experience ever with this hotel ”
I booked this hotel with one night but when I checked in, I found the toilet wasn’t clean. The other thing, the air condition was noisy and in meanwhile didn’t cooling well. I booked with the beach view but they gave me a room in first floor which covered by a tree that you feel garden view. The staff was smiling and helpful but they didn’t change my room.

I recently stayed at The Andaman Hotel, Phuket with my wife and daughter during our visit to Phuket in January and I must say, it was not one of the best hotel experiences. I chose the hotel after reading many positive reviews and recommendations from travellers. But things were not very great from the time we arrived. We had been travelling for more than 24 hours and were bone-tired when we arrived at the hotel. The hotel made no move to accommodate our request for a check in when we arrived at around 11 am and we were matter of factly told that the check in time is 2 pm and that we would get the room only then because the room had to be cleaned after the previous occupant's check out. We were made to wait in the lobby for more than 4 hours and the lack of hospitality was apparent as the staff did not even offer us a glass of water until I specifically asked for it. When we complained about the lack of response and unacceptable delay, they made a half-hearted attempt after 2 hours and told us to have a pizza at the restaurant, which would be complementary. We had had our lunch by then and had paid for that, which they did not offer to reimburse or make complementary. They said that we could avail the free pizza offer anytime during our stay but promptly forgot it because when we told them about the next day, the staff looked absolutely blank and unaware about the complementary dinner. Although the hotel was nice looking and had a quite pleasant ambiance and decor, the approach to the hotel was pretty sad, through a very run down sort of area and the steep access road that made it difficult to reach the hotel, especially after a long tiring day out. The only plus was the hotel shuttle, which gave us a drop down the hill whenever we wanted to go out. But on the way up, we had no option but to walk up. Do not recommend this hotel!!!”
I do not recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Location is not very good: it’s on the hill and the room is far from the hotel lobby. The buggy transportation service is not available for most of the time. (Maybe racism for Asian people 🙃🙃🙃, never ask proactively to give us service, but we notice they proactively ask to provide help to non-ASIAN people) 2. Breakfast has very limited options: we eat almost the same thing for a whole week … very very limited options 3. Room facilities are in bad condition: lights keep flashing...they tried to fix it but the next day still couldn’t work, so we changed the room 4. Service (morning) is not good: receptionists in the morning are in bad attitude, but receptionists in the evening are friendly 5. Air conditioning is super noisy!!! We definitely will not choose this hotel again in the future! Please do not waste your money!

It is on a mountain cliff - not on the beach, and very unsafe ... snakes are roaming in the premises ... It is a steep walk to go to the lobby or restaurant for breakfast ... food is overpriced compared to quality and taste ... In this price, you can book a suite many Phuket hotels ... I do not recommend it. Please avoid.

Very good hotel with very convenient location. Sea view rooms on higher floors has breathtaking view of breach. Patong Beach is just 200 m from hotel. Only small issue is to access rooms one has to climb appx 40 steps before you reach lift. However they have buggy which an take you right at the lift of you request. Staff were very helpful. Food was good. They even make Indian food for lunch and dinner. In breakfast Chef was making hot dosas. Overall v good hotel.

بالرغم من تعامل الموظفين الجيد الان سلبيات الفندق كثيرة واهمها ١- في شارع داخلي ضيق وقذر ٢- الفندق على جبل وليس على الشاطئ ٣- الفندق قديم وتم ترميمه ولكن بجوده رديئة ٤-العزل بين الغرف سيء واصوات الشارع مسموعه ٥- الغرفه والممرات ارضيتها متكسره وكذلك السقف متكسر ٦- الفندق عبارة عن مبنيين منفصلين والطريق كله صعود بالدرج بدون مصاعد ٧- خدمة الغرف سيئة ولايوجد مناديل او صابون كافي بالغرفة اجمالا الفندق لايستحق اكثر من ٣ نجوم وسعره مبالغ فيه جدا جدا Despite the good treatment of the staff now, the hotel has many negatives, the most important of which are 1- In a narrow and dirty inner street 2- The hotel is on a mountain, not on the beach 3- The hotel is old and has been renovated, but of poor quality 4- The insulation between the rooms is bad and the sounds of the street are audible 5- The room and the corridors had a broken floor, as well as the ceiling 6- The hotel is two separate buildings and the whole road is up stairs without elevators 7- Room service is poor and there are not enough tissues or soap in the room Overall, the hotel does not deserve more than 3 stars, and its price is very, very exaggerated
