    The aspen is always a great choice when staying in Manchester Vermont. I am sad to say that Bruce and Scott are no longer the owners. That said I am hoping the new owners while keep up the great reputation that the aspen has always had. These are going to be big shoes to fill. Good luck.

    More of a motel style so easy having your car right outside and no long halls to walk and elevators to wait for. Clean, bed was very comfortable, nice big room. Decor New England colonial style, lovely. Staff was nice and breakfast/coffee available in the main office and lobby area. Everything you need for a night or two on the road.

    Beginning with the front desk throughout our stay, the staff and the facility was perfect. The room was spacious and perfectly decorated. The cleanliness was spectacular. My husband and I will definitely recommend this motel. We will be back as we love this area of Vermont.

    Sweet pool. Nice rooms- very convenient to pull right up to the front door. A bit dated with very hard mattress Andy pillows. All in all I would definitely stay here again. Staff super warm. Very mellow place.

    Great location and beautiful bedroom”

    The receptionist is very polite and has excellent hospitality. My single bedroom is very cute and comfortable. I love the way they decorate my bedroom. It is very antique. Great location and very close to great restaurants. Love this place.

    Rooms were clean. They also have good basic breakfast (Muffins, bread, eggs, fruits, juices and coffee). Rooms were spacious with a good location. The nearby places to visit are very close from there.

    Don't come expecting breakfast”

    We liked the location of this place and the room itself was small, but OK. There was a lot of peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, which wasn't great. The worst part was the breakfast. We arrived and there was hardly any food there. They had some waffles that clearly said on the package "keep frozen" that weren't, they were just out, and at least one had mold on it. When I came for breakfast there was one orange left and that one had a bad spot on the bottom, so most folks wouldn't eat it. I feel bad b/c one of the employees (a young man) was very good, helpful. I did enjoy the pool, which was clean and nice. It was also quiet and cool enough. I couldn't figure out how to turn off the TV (remote didn't seem to work to do that), so I just unplugged it.

    We don't travel that much, but this motel did the job, no surprises, furniture and looks is a bit out of date but who cares, check in took 30 seconds. 15min walk to manchester center. We would recommend or stay again.
