The Astor Hotel Motel is a 5-minute walk from Goulburn town centre and Auburn Street. It offers a bistro, a bar and free on-site parking. The air-conditioned motel rooms are all fitted with a fridge, an electric kettle and TV. The en suite bathroom offers shower facilities. Guest laundry facilities are available. WiFi access is available at a cost. The bistro serves lunch and dinner through the week. The menu includes steak, nachos, burgers, fish and chips, and pizza. Astor is a 4-minute drive from Goulburn Golf Club and a 5-minute walk from Belmore Park. Central Canberra is a 45-minute drive away.

Pleasantly surprised ”
Solo traveler first time staying in room above pub. Was impressed by the comfortable bed, super quiet room and plenty of bathroom showers/toilets available. Short stay but was pretty impressed. Pub rooms are actually above Tatts hotel across rd from The Astor, but that means even closer to good cafe downstairs at Tatts.

Astor Motel is a good pick for the budget conscious”
Jan 3 2018. This time I am a single traveler stopping for the night on the way to Sydney. The Astor Motel is in the main street of Goulburn and is adjacent to the pub. There are ample other venues nearby for a meal and refreshment. This is a budget room (not the luxury suite) and has a double bed, refrigerator, tea and coffee making facility, large TV and air conditioner - all working!! The room has its own toilet and shower. Bonus. Parking space is not allocated so if you arrive late in the day, you will have to park elsewhere. Staff are courteous and friendly. I will certainly reconsider this motel in the future.

We had no where else to go and would not stay here again. Mould in bathroom. Very noisy as it’s also a pub. We even had a mouse. Pretty disappointing.

I enjoyed staying here for two nights. The bed was great to sleep on - I'm 170 kg. The room was clean, hot water jug coffee etc and nice shower. The TV had all the sports channels so that was great. This is a country style pub on the main street of Goulburn and the pub and the accomodation seem to be both popular. The steak dinner in the bistro was fantastic and the prices for the grub and beer is pretty reasonable. There's a gas pump and Woolworths supermarket behind the pub and restaurants and other bars across the road and a few minutes walking distance.

Disappointing”
Why do Agoda/Astor Hotel put photo with no relation to the booking I have made..so create an impression the hotel/motel is half way decent. Please design a program that brings up a photo of the room you will be getting...then you can make a decision if you want to continue with booking.
