The joy of a king size bed”

near to nightlife, restaurants, shopping, close to subway, king size bed

Enjoyed our stay at the b nagoya. Was terrific value for a room with a king size bed, especially in a business hotel where they're usually not even available. Our only other kings were at the two five star hotels we stayed during our holiday. The b was in a good location for access to the subway line and the main shopping areas although only steps (that we could find) up out of the subway. Very strict with their check-in time but will store your bags and even have them waiting in your room when you come back and check-in. Terrific! A free coffee machine in the lobby that you can grab a very decent coffee from. Very nice staff at reception with a very different more 'casual' manner, very different to the formal manner you get most places. Comfy bed, TINY bathroom, really good breakfast that if it's not included in your rate you must pay for down at reception and they'll give you a voucher. We stopped in Nagoya specifically to do the Toyota Factory tour and although it was a long trek out there, both the tour and the rest of Nagoya, were well worth the stay. No hesitation in recommending the b nagoya.

Excellent Time”

Clean, Convenient Location, Room was very well kept every day, kind staff.
None.

I came to the Nagoya B as my first location upon arriving in Japan. I got to the hotel and was greeted by the staff at the front desk and was well taken care of. I even locked myself out of my room, and I was promptly (within 5 minutes) let back inside. It was right on the edge of a very busy area in Sakae, and is surrounded by shops and restaurants everywhere. Everything you need is withing walking distance. The price I paid was well under what I would have been willing to pay had I known the service, location, and amenities were what they were. I advise anyone who needs to stay near the Nagoya area to stay in this hotel. I know I will be staying here again.

Great location, 5 mins walk from subway station ”

Location is near Sakae subway station, which is the downtown area of Nagoya. Convenient access to various places.

Stayed at B Nagoya for 2 nights with my wife and 4 year old son. Location is really convenient. Very short walk from Sakae subway station, with nearby lift access for those traveling with large luggages. Sakae is the downtown area for nagoya and you'll see most of interesting tourist attractions in this area such as Nagoya Tower, Ocean 21, mall with ferris wheel, various department stores with great food basements, etc. Seems like a lot of business travelers stay in B Nagoya. We got the rate for the room without breakfast, so 4 stars for dining here is really due to location. Reception staffs were able to communicate with basic English, so this is quite convenient. The room is standard Japanese double room, which is not too spacious. Bed was quite comfortable. The only thing I would say the hotel need an immediate upgrade would be the bathroom. Seems old and not as clean as the other hotels we've stayed in Japan with comparable level.

Excellent all round, very happy!”

I arrived tired and in a terrible mood, reception was quick and sincere

I arrived to Nagoya tired and in a terrible mood, and hadn't expected the additional subway ride to 'Sakae'? Reception was quick and organised, English was basic but very sincere, friendly staff. The room was high floor as requested and quite nice for the price. Upon venturing out I realised that Sakae is the social hub of Nagoya and if the hotel hadn't been there I might have missed it. Convenience store downstairs is very handy. Great location, great staff, excellent experience!

Great little hotel with amazing location”

Friendly front desk, location, location, location

Right opposite the main strip of shops in Sakae, Nagoya, the B hotel is in a dream location. It is also right above a Lawsom convenience shop for any late night / last minute purchases. Used their laundry service for 500 yen, fantastic. Did not eat here, so can't comment. Rooms are normal Japanese buisness hotel size but enough space. Great prices per night.

Good stay at a well located hotel”

Good location in central Nagoya, friendly staff, very clean
No ice makers on room floors (though staff will gladly bring you ice), smallish bathroom (though that is pretty much par for the course in Japan)

The B Nagoya is a very good hotel in a convenient location in Nagoya. The staff was extremely responsive to requests, and was very friendly. For a Japanese hotel, I found it to have plenty of space. I found it easy to get everywhere I needed to go in Nagoya with relative ease. This hotel was a tremendous value for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Nagoya.

Accessible Location”

The B Nagoya is situated very near the malls in Sakae (like around 5 to 10 mins walk) Train station access is not a problem too. The breakfast is also very good. The coffee at the Lobby is also very good. We booked 4 semi double rooms. As expected the room size is small but its not a big issue even if me and my room mate have 4 luggages. Bathroom is also small, but cute. Staff are accommodating and helpful. The surrounding is peaceful.

The B Nagoya Hotel Review”

The best feature was the location of the hotel
I disliked the common areas in the hotel

Overall I really enjoyed staying at The B Nagoya in Sakae. I had a great time there and the hotel staff was very friendly. You cannot beat the location of the hotel as it is close to many great restaurants and shopping areas such as Oasis 21. The hotels proximity to Lawsons convenience store was also a plus as far as getting a quick late night snack or beer.

The B Nagoya review”

very clean, looks new and modern, staff are friendly, a Lawson's downstairs, great location (downtown Sakae), close to subway station
none

The Hotel was really clean, looks modern. Although the location is situated in downtown Sakae, it's quite calm in front of the hotel, there is no disturbance from outside, really quite. But it's great and fast access to Sakae where there are many department stores, shops, restaurants & bars. Located just 5 minutes walk from the big and modernlooking busterminal/subway station (Sakae) and two stops away from Nagoya JR. It's not just a bussinesshotel, it's very family and woman-friendly

The b Nagoya hotel is an excellent choice for travellers in Nagoya. It is located near to MTR and central shopping areas with lots of F&B outlets and a convenient store attached. Charged on site car park is available too. Room is spacious comparing to other japanese hotel. It is clean and providing amenities you need for your stay. I'd definitely recommend this to friends.

location, cleanliness, free coffee in the lobby, computer with internet in lobby.
the room wasn't as nice in person as it was in pictures

overall, the b nagoya was a nice place to stay. the rooms looked really nice and fancy online, but was really just a standard business class hotel. the location was great, about 5 minute walk from exit 13 of the Sakae station exit, and about 2000 yen taxi ride from the train station. It was nice to have free coffee every morning for breakfast and have access to a computer with internet.

Close to Subway, shopping malls, scenic spots

Really enjoy such a a King Size bed with my friend, so comfortable. Located at the very busy and attractive subway station "Sakae" which can lead you to most famous scenic spots and Big traffic stations like JR or Meitsu railway conveniently. BTW, staffs of b Nagoya are really nice, polite and helpful, though maybe have some communication problems since my Japanese is not so good, they try their best to meet my need. Thanks!

Warm welcome, good english, helpful & flexible

I would say this is most impressive place of my trip to Japan this time. My family and i spend a night at this hotel and every thing went so wonderful. The room was clean and neat. WIFI internet was excellent. Front desk was really kind and helpful. Free internet, coffee, tea at lobby. The room came with breakfast and the food was variety. The location of the hotel is great, just next to the shopping area , restaurants and night life places. From the hotel you can walk to nearby important area easily. From Nagoya Sta. you have to take subway 2 sta. away. in short, if i had a chance to go to Nagoya again, i would definitely go to this hotel again. :)

Great hotel with wonderfully big rooms.”

Fantastic mattresses and delicious breakfast.

After seeing other "business" hotels in Japan, we were wonderfully surprised with the size of our room and bed. Don't know what their mattress brand is but it was one of the best nights sleep both of us have ever had. I wish I could have purchased the robe they supply, it was so comfortable. I highly recommend the b Nagoya to any traveler and will recommend the other b hotels too.

Nice hotel, not perfect”

VERY comfortable, very convenient location, very good service

The hotel room was very nice. It was a bit small but you really cant expect big rooms in Japan. The bed was very comfortable and they change your sheets, towels and robes everyday. If they don't get to clean your room for a day, they leave fresh towels, robes, toiletries and tea bags outside your door. Only con would be that you had to pay 1000 yen for 24 hours of one english channel but it isn't really a big deal especially when you plan on touring the city. The hotel is very conveniently located. It's a few minutes away from Nagoya tower, about a three minute walk to the subway complex, which is connected to the major shopping centers and below the hotel is a convenience store. There's also a restaurant below it but i didn't get a chance to try it. Overall a very good place to stay in :)

Very tidy and clean. And the cleaning lady is very friendly and polite, always with a big smile. One of the best thing about this hotel is its location. Located right out side of exit 13 of SAKAE station means that you can get to any part of the Nagoya city without having to walk too much. A Lawson convenient store really makes it convenient if you're hungry in the middle of the night. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit!!
