We loved our stay here! It is so nicely decorated inside and out. It had a handy little outdoor communal kitchen and fridge. The room was small but had everything we needed! We were very well taken care of by the host and he made sure we always had everything we needed. Super close to SunWorld if that’s where your going!

Walking location to hop-on-hop-off bus station. Beach is another few hundred meters away from bus stop. There's a local market beside where you can easily find fresh vegetables & fruits, raw meats, clothing, snacks etc.

Good location with reasonable price”
Close to all main attractions in Ha Long city and a lot of cheap eat around (including local food and western food). We went in Dec and there is hot water for shower so we are happy

The Bay - Ha Long Homestay was simply and tastefully decorated which made it feel like a home away from home. Linens are very clean - you can smell the "freshly-washed" smell upon entering the room. You would have to walk about a minute in a narrow street to get The Bay, but it's well worth it. Location is great - lots of places to eat nearby, just a short 8-10 minute walk to Sun World and it's surrounding bars/restaurants/cafes. And the local market is only less than 5 minutes away. There's also a VinMart (convenience store) about 3 minutes away. Lastly, the host (I apologize, I wasn't able to get your name - professional, well-groomed young man around early to mid 20s) was very hospitable and accommodating, responded quickly to messages, and shared local tips. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself around Ha Long Bay! I will definitely stay here again. :)

Very good place for enjoying Ha Long”
This is third time i went to Ha Long but this time i chose homestay not hotel as before, and some friends suggested The Bay, and i feel satisfied when i stay here, comfortable landscape with trees, flowers , some coloured walls make you pleasant, room is still new and clean with enough essential things. Besides, it is located in central of tourism at Anh Dao str so very convenient to walking to some hot place like Sunworld, beach, habour for bay tour. It is valuable with reasonable price. P/s: hi Tung thank for cheering beer with us, a memorable night ^^

We chose The Bay Homestay based on good review from some channels and we feel very exciting with real experience at there. First, Tung gave us warmly welcome and soft checkin, he is very friendly and enthusiastic, you can ask him anything. Second, room is clean and light, toilet inside, it's not big but you can see all essential things here, i feel comfortable and sleepy when stay here and last thing, this homestay located in central location, at Huong Tram lane about 20m from main street Anh Dao str, 50m go to Vinmart easy to shop some food and drink here, 400m to Sunworld and 800m to Bai Chay beach, easy to enjoy by walking. Highly recommend!

The homestay is so comfortable. The owner of The Bay Halong HomeStay are so kind, friendly and helpfully. When the homestay loss of electricity, the owner are so responsibility and transfer me to 3 star hotel and not charge anything. Until now, the owner still contact each other and he tell me so many thing about Ha Long.

Good homestay at center location”
I booked here after review others, when i came i really like architecture and green tree outside, decoration inside room, all made me feel like home, very satisfied. I got sick right after, and Tung offered to take me to the Pharmacy to get some medicine. Best Airbnb host! The place is super clean and easy to operate. Def will be booking here again in the future when I visit. The area itself is pretty decent. You have sunworld down the road and can do a lot with the local area. Tung also provides you a map with tourist Hotspot and food places he recommends. You are missing out if you don't book here!

We just stayed there for one night but it was amazing and Tung was so kind, very helpful, he suggested great cruise for bay tour and organized bus back to hanoi.

Fine but not memorable”
My stay here was reasonable, however, not memorable like the rest of my trip to Vietnam. When you first arrive the place looks nice and clean, however, I realised the makeup of the property means you don't get any chance of interacting with fellow travellers. There is no common area and people come and go. The front-desk was rarely occupied. I also found the mattress a little too hard. It is in a good location in Bai Chay and just far enough fron the noise. I also would have liked to pay by card. This was more expensive than most places that I stayed and did not appreciate having to run and get cash before my bus.

The receptionist had absented when I checked in. There is no information to contact him at the reception desk. We were exhausted with such the long journey but he did not help us to carry the luggage into my room. The pillows were too overused to lay our heads on.
