Lovely, Quiet Resort on the beach”
I enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet resort, away from the noise. The staff were all very helpful, and the morning breakfast near the sea was so relaxing. The resort has some rustic cottages, not a tower of rooms.

Nice Hotel with beautiful view”
The Hotel area was very beautiful with many plants around, nice pool and private clean beach. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. I also liked the breakfast buffet and from the restaurant you have an awesome view over the beach. There is also a good restaurant very close and a cute reagge bar at another beach 10 minutes to walk. I can reccomend that hotel especially for families and couples. You can rent motorbikes close to the hotel, which is recommended as the hotel is a little far from town and some shops.

Nice resort with friendly staff. Some facilities are a bit old, but the place is nice and clean”
We stayed at The Bay Samui for 10 days and had a great vacation. We were lucky to get a free upgrade to Grand Villa with it’s own little pool and the kids loved it. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. Our villa was really good, we got pleanty of towls, free water in the fridge and smily roomservice. The breakfast is fine. Mostly the same things every day, but at lot to choose between. The restaurant is also good, espacially when it comes to Thai-dishes. We had 2 among us, who lives in Thailand (one is native Thai) - and they egen very much approved the food as well. All in all a very nice place to stay, if you want to relax and enjoy pool and beach - and don’t mind being in the middle of party, bars and shopping (because that is several kilometers away. But it only costs 200 THB to rent a scooters for a whole day)

If your looking for a peaceful quiet getaway, this is the place. ”
Travelled here with a family member. We had just come from Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok so we were looking for quiet time and not the busy city. Once we saw the view of the Bay beach it was over. Beautiful views, clean beach with no garbage. The staff was amazing, the next leg of our trip was Ko Phangan and a staff member named Air did all the leg work to find is a clean decent hotel in a great location. She was amazing! Breakfast was also included and great! We rented a motorbike and were 10 minutes to streets filled with restaurants and plenty of options if you don’t want to eat at resort. I would recommend this resort to anyone or family member that just wants a peaceful vacation.

Best value for private beach at Koh Samui”
If you are looking for private beach where you could walk with your soulmate check that hotel. Especially I would recommend to wake up ~6-7 AM and enjoy nice, quite and perfect sunrise. There is just 3 hotels, that connected to this beach. So in theory it could be more people, but usually tourists wake up at 10 or 11 :) Be smart and use whole day in Thailand. If we talk about disadvantages, I could menation location. You know private is mean far from everything. Car or motocicly is hingly recommened. I had to drive each day for get some local street food :) But it just 5-10 min and okaish for me. We visited that place at September 2022 and they just begun after covid catastrophe. So. I guess this place will be much more better closer to winter high season and it defenitly depens on you. Right now it is quit, extremly cheap and without facilityes and fency restraraunts. Nice and calm Hotel to relax at the beach”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. It seemed that there are “old and new” bungalows. The new ones have a small private pool. We had one of the old bungalows, but it was still very clean. The staff is very welcoming and always ready to help! Especially Air helped us a lot for booking a transfer to the pier. She even recommended us to ask the ferry company for a transfer since the taxi prices from the hotel are very expensive. After we had tried to call the ferry company but without any success, she even called them and managed to get us a transfer for cheap money. Excellent service! The beach is perfect to relax since it’s located in a small bay with only two other hotels around. However, it’s complicated to get to an area where to find some restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities.... close to the hotel are only 2 restaurants, a small super market and an ATM. However, it’s possible to rent a scooter at the small supermarket to explore the island. Enjoy your stay! :)

It has potential”
This location is not within walking distance to restaurants or anything, so you are dependant on what the resort has to offer. The staff were very nice, but they were understaffed. The excessive amount of garbage on the beach made it unsafe for kids to play and very unsightly. The neighbouring resorts cleaned their beach, so I believe it may be a lack of staff. The resort was under construction in some areas and you may want to confirm the available amenities before booking.

Great service and fantastic ocean view”
At the first.,I rerved 3days . but extended 7 days...Most of villa style accommodation and own private beach is 5 star resort around Koh samui..But this is most valuable villa with reasonable prices..at the lobby 2 receptionist. they are very kindly to answered any questions with smile. and want to help for clients..bring welcome drink and escort to villa ..I surprised.looks like 5 star service..my most important first concern is cleaned toilet with no bad smell and quiet environmental accommodation. this is very right choice...separated toilet and shower room..2 big bath towel and 4 small towel and 2 big pool towel in the room..2 bath gown. 2 umbrella .4 bottle free water and mosquitos electric control , 42 inch flat smart TV. cooled airconditions. double curtains and portable light.coffee port, refridge ,safety box. and full bath amenities with hair dryer...very well maintained feels like comfortable 5 star resort...unbelievable in this price.

Off the beaten path but worth it”
we stayed at the arayaburi for five nights in august of 2012, myself my husband and six of our friends were in koh samui for a wedding at a nearby, super pricey hotel and chose the arayaburi for it's proximity to the wedding venue. the locations is wonderful for a relaxing vacation, but is about 10-15 minutes by vehicle to the town/shopping/sightseeing. the hotel provides breakfast and has a full room service menu in addition to a small restaurant, but if you want to leave it is about $10 usd each way by taxi unless you choose to rent a moto (which we did not. the hotel itself is beautiful, each room is a separate bungalow which is clean and spacious. the staff is friendly and helpful, and were very accommodating to our need to travel back and forth to the wedding venue multiple times during our trip (most of us were part of the wedding party. the hotel has two pools, one at the beach area and one closer to the main reception area. pros include a wonderful breakfast, accommodating and friendly staff and spacious rooms. my only tiny complaint is that the beach, which has beautiful views, is on a sand bar which necessitates one to swim out quite far to be immersed in water.

Great hotel with very good service ”
Very nice hotel with calm sourandings. No shopping but they had good and practical transfer to shopping and sightseeing. The personal always smiling and trying to help you as best they could. They also offerd different massages and had a very nice resturant. Next to them worked a very helpful man with who you could reserve different trips, buy things in a small shop and turn in laundry. He was very helpful not only to make trip reservations he also as an example orderd home Thai-wine so I could bring it home with me. He could probibly help you with almost everything. I will defently come back to this hotel on my next trip to Samui.

A nice stopover”
We booked a deluxe bungalow which was open and airy, nicely decorated, very clean and close to the beach, with a sea view. There were added extras like a dressing gown and slippers and tea/coffee making facilities. On the walk to reception I noticed a number of bungalows that were surrounded by vegetation and I felt that I wouldn't have been happy with one of those as I assumed it would be dark inside. The restaurant was high up in the resort and had a lovely view of the bay. The staff were very attentive and the food very good. The breakfast buffet included fruit and eggs etc and was tasty, with plenty of tea and (strong) coffee. The reception staff were very helpful and booked our day trip round the island. We were there for 2 nights en route to the airport so didn't want to go anywhere much. The hotel is not close to other accommodations so transport is necessary if you want to eat elsewhere (there is a taxi and small shop just at the entrance)

Nice place for a relaxing stay.”
nice place for a relaxing stay away from the hustle and bustle. a clean bungalows have a diferent prices and a very good standard. a nice, quiet beach where there are only two other hotels. unfortunatelly the sea bottom is full of a rocks, you have to watch out for razor-sharp reef, so entering the water without shoes could be risky. i couldn't understand a high prices of massage in the hotel and at the restaurant as well. ladies on the beach don't have any clients, and the restaurant is totally empty during whole day, except a breakfast. fortunatelly the hotel offers comfortable shuttle service to chaweng where there are many restaurants with delicious food and a lot cheaper massage salons. there a massage costs one third of the price at the hotel, and you can eat for half a price. i would definitely recommend, great place for a relax in a quiet enviroment.

lovly quiet resort”
This resort was tucked away on a small private beach actually called secret bay or samrong bay. The gardens were just beautiful and very well maintained. The staff wre also very nice, and I happened to mention that it was my friends birthday, they brought to her not one but two birthday cakes..the food at the restuarant was very nice and not to expensive. The staff were also very nice would stay there again.

Great Spot”
I stayed here with my daughter and my friend's family and we had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful, especially KookKai on the front desk. The location was outstanding, it's away from the crowds and so the beach was fantastic once you swam out past the coral which isn't hard to do. If you want shops and nightlife and can get quite expensive in taxis getting into Chaweng but if you're happy just to relax them it's a perfect spot. We stayed in a beach front villa and it was definitely worth the extra money to have a view of the bay every morning. The food in the restaurant is acceptable, unfortunately it's been de-spiced for western tastes. I would recommend staying here for sure..

Beautiful, secluded hotel”
This hotel is a lovely little resort which is hidden away on a private beach, away from the madness of the bigger resorts. The hotel provide a bus to and from Chewang and can arrange taxis etc to Bo Phut too. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and on the beach so if you are happy to laze your days away (we were) this is a perfect place to do it. If you like to be able to walk to other places then you might get a bit of cabin fever here!! The hotel also organised our trasfer on to Koh Tao and there is a travel agent/bike rental place across the road who can also organise things for you. All in all I would certainly stay here again.

great hotel. lovely beach and great staff”
went for a wedding at Six Senses which is up on the hill "next door". Arayaburi staff are so lovely and accommodating. run a shuttle to Chewang regularly as the resort is a bit off out of the way. but that's the best thing about it. a great small quiet bay for swimming or floating. only complaint is weak water in shower but that is negligible compared to all the good things. there is free WiFi but it is a bit slow. but who cares!!!! you're on vacation in a fabulous place. and if you're really stuck there are two computers in the lobby to use.
