Although it was very quiet due to being rainy season, this resort was beautiful and the staff were so helpful and attentive. We stayed in a beach bungalow, which was very clean and nicely decorated, with everything you could need available. Also, the beach is fantastic and so different from the hustle and bustle of Vung Tau. The only issue is transport. You can get a bus from HCMC to Ba Ria but a taxi from there to the resort is quite expensive (400,000VND each way). Would definitely recommend driving yourself if you have a motorbike.

Value for Money but”
Great pricing for rooms (a little steep compared to HCMC prices) and the staff (especially the receptionist) was very accommodating and kind, however if it is your first time travelling to Vietnam and you're not adept with the local language, do not have a tour guide, or do not have a private vehicle, it might be a little hard to go here. We just got lucky that some locals assisted us. We came in late and left HCMC at around 6:30 and arrived a few minutes shy of 9 PM so I contacted the property and informed them and they said that they'd accommodate our late check-ins. The rooms are a bit old and in need of some TLC, but they are bigger than standard sizes and the beds are comfortable. There is a pool for kids located near the restaurant, and breakfast is included in the price. The beach is quiet and lovely. Over-all a good, almost great stay.

Location between sea and river is very nice Isolated place and quiet during week Having a car/bike is a must as you need to explore around to find (a few) restaurants or activities (Binh Chau hot springs) Facilities are very limited, the place should have a swimming pool Breakfast is very very basic As you won't find a lot of options at this location (the "sandbar"), Beach House Resort is a good budget choice Staff is cool Well as me, if you want to be far from the crowd, have the beach for you (well, shared with fishermen...!), ready to take the bike to go around, it's not so bad (except again the absence of pool)

Amazing place for tiny payment that time. Private beach, nice bungalow, great view of both sea view & river view. Can't believe we pay amount of a cheap motel but enjoy a resort service :)) Must aware room facilities are standard, not luxury!

we checked in on a Monday so there were no other guests aside from us. we really enjoyed how quiet the place was and how nicely kept the villas were! you'd know the place is kinda old because of the faded paint on the wall but still it was well kept. The staff was very helpful, warm, and accommodating! special shoutout to Tu (hope I spelled it correctly) for being an angel all throughout our stay! She even helped us find a cheaper way to travel back to Saigon 😊 so if you need tips on your itinerary, don't hesitate asking her! only thing we noticed was that the menu was so limited and the food wasn't that good 😞 hope you guys can improve on this one

It is a nice resort, simple, very clean, and the staff is very nice. The problem was the karaokes, there was 2 on the beach until late at night, and at 6am, another one started!!

perfect location for a quick weekend getaway”
The resort is a bit far from the center which makes it a perfect place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The downside is, there are no other means of getting to the place except for a taxi which will cost you around 500k. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. My friend was stung by a stingray while swimming in the sea which traumatized us a bit. We didn't really want to swim again after the incident. Since it's not peak season when we went, the swimming pool was not cleaned. I love the designs of the bungalow rooms. Overall, I will still recommend this place, my friends and I had a quiet, peaceful, and a very interesting holiday!

Acceptable”
I was very disappointed with the reservation I made at Beach House Resort. I wanted to cancel my reservation straight away, unfortunately, I had to stay for one night which in the end cost me 1 500 000 d!!!(including a cancellation fee). The accommodation is clearly overpriced. This place should not be called a resort as it is understood by Western standards. The beach was dirty and there were no sun-chairs provided nor there was any nice place to chill out. I booked a deluxe bungalow with a sea view but the only thing I could see was a building on my right and a forest on my left. The sea is rather in a distance.The seating area was in front of a neon-lit gate. The room wasn't very clean either (finger prints on glasses, dirty windows, a peeling wall). There are two rooms in a bungalow which are separated only by a door so there is no privacy as you can hear very clearly the quests from another room. The staff is friendly and breakfast was tasty.

It is a kind of camping place. The room is very small, and nothing in the room accept 2 bed for 4 people. The bathroom is very small as well. If staying there, you need to be outside most of the time. The good point is the private beach, and some facility at the beach. However, my family got bit by some tiny insect and it hurts for a long time. The staff is hospital, useful. (btw, they should warned us about the insects).

There are no much of facilities here. Swimming pool is only for kids and very far from the resort. it will go unnoticed unless you want to discover it. Rooms are not excellently clean. there is daily housekeeping but you can expect bugs in the room. eggs and bread is alright. we didn't try any other options a lot. Choose if you are willing to drive or hire a cab. There is a bus that can drop you from HCM to a stop near the resort. contact the resort if you need the details.

Girls at reception are very friendly and helpful. My husband was feeling really miserable from a cold that he had picked up and they gave him some pills and within two days he was much better. Food is fine and fresh.

Bed bugs”
Positives: nice location, on the beach on one side and next to the river on the other. Friendly staff. Negatives: very basic and poorly maintained. Isolated, difficult if you don't have your own car/bike. Lot's of noise everywhere. Beach is nice but the waters on the whole are are muddy. Worst part: bed bugs. Needless to say that was our first and last time there.

Terrible service”
They guided my car to part near a construction area. After one day, they left very big scratches on two sites of my car, when I complain to the staff they ask me to contact to my insurance agent instead of paying for the repair. This fault was not mine and insurance will not pay for it. I asked them to talk to their manager, but the manager never comes to talk to me. Finally they agree to ask an officer come to sign in witness statement form. I hope that insurance company will not chlange me later with this form. After officer signing the form, they told me I have to wait until tomorow to have offical stamp from goverment. When I come and ask them for it next day, they told me they will sent it for me later. It took me two weeks to get the form from them but when i receive the form from them, there is no goverment stamp on the form... they ruined out my vacation. And I feel like i got scammed. As they did not do what they promised. Never come back again "the b*** house resort"

Quiet location which could be called isolated”
We travelled on Tết,so we didn't expect much. But the service was really zero, and the area quite dirty. The restaurant was closed because of Tết. The bungalow was ok.
