Great hotel but hood a bit crowded”
This is our second stay at The Beaufort London. The first stay was so good that this time we got our friends to stay here with us. Our group consist of a family of 3 with a small child, an elderly lady and a couple. The rooms were quite small, especially our room but we enjoyed hanging out at the common area after breakfast, before dinner or whenever we were converging to make plans. The staff are super nice and very attentive. The hotel is not cheap with their open bar either, replacing bottles as soon as they are emptied. The tea and scones were served even well after the 5pm stated deadline. They were very accommodating and we enjoyed the tea and scones daily. The only thing we were not too happy about our stay this time was that the entire area was super crowded even until late at night. Our friends had a hard time pushing their stroller through the crowd as one would literally have to weave in and out between pedestrians on the walkway. Also we felt that some of the people crowding the streets look a bit shady though am sure it may just be a matter of bad fashion sense for we were told by my local londonder friends that knightsbridge is 'occupied' by mainly rich foreigners from the middle east coming to escape the heat of summer back home. A friend of ours who stayed at a nearby hotel insisted we escort her back when it was dark as she did not feel comfortable walking back alone. Also look out for crazy driving of fancy cars with foreign plates while you are crossing roads. It seems where they are from, cars have the right of way over pedestrians.

Excellent experience, special touches!”
this was my first time in london, our friends had recommended the beaufort hotel. the hotel was not like a hotel but like a very nice flat in a very upscale neighborhood. the location is wonderful, the staff is helpful and made our reservations for dinner and a show. we will go back as soon as we can.

Classic Boutique Hotel”
Great location, Great Service, This hotel are not for every one (that include me). This is a very very classic hotel with only one elevator allocated to guest (as far as i know), As a rather large man, and as a Solo Business Traveler, I find the hotel spacing rather small. I would recommend this hotel to those of elder age with no children, as far form i know, the flooring are of wooden construct and passage are rather small (which is normal for a hotel in London in this price range, to be fair). The location are nothing less then perfect, very recommended to those who doesn't want to walk, or with preference to enjoy the traditional classic London. The Breakfast in are a perfect combination to the Hotel. For me, I would come back to this hotel when i am with wife, for a perfect little London holiday.

I might go back, but.......”
We have just returned from our 3rd stay at the Beaufort Hotel. It is very well situated and the staff are very helpful. We enjoyed the afternoon tea and the access to soft drinks. Where we really noticed the difference from previous visits was that they now allow guests, and even more irritating, random business people to commandeer the lounge for their private meetings. We stayed 3 nights and every single morning there was a meeting in the lounge and we had no access. We were having a coffee one morning and planning our day and were asked ( nicely, but still....) to leave. It is a very expensive hotel and very small so when guests are excluded from this, it leaves a very bad impression. Also, the open bar from 3-11 has been discontinued ( although it is still advertised on some websites) so there is another whittling away of value for this hotel. There's still a table with drinks, but one must now pay for them. Good for their bottom line, bad for guests.

It is so near Harrods :)”
I went there with my boyfriend, and we so enjoying there. The hotel was super close to the tube station, just 2 mins walk. So we could explore London within our short stay. The staffs were so very nice to us, calling us taxi and helped us with all luggages. Next time I would stay here surely :)

It’s all about the location.... and a peaceful haven to return to after a long day out in London. Cons: Rooms very average & the view not good ... but it really doesn’t seem to matter.

Don't stay here”
The hotel has issues with space, there is no feeling of openness. The stairwells are claustrophobic and the amount of fire doors in every hallway is scary at best. The elevator is slow and small and starts on the 2nd floor. We stayed on the 5th floor which we could manage but didn't appreciate it. It was preferable over getting into the small, slow elevator with cages that were hard to operate. The king bed needed to be replaced years ago as both sides sunk way down and stayed there while the middle stuck up creating a wall barrier. The bathroom was old and needed to be refurbished. I thought the price was high before I saw what I was paying for.

Lovely Hotel”
This was the 3th time we stayed here. We were disappointed because although we ordered and had paid for a 2 person room we were assigned a 1 person room with a bed of 120 cm wide, one set of towels and a single bath robe. Because of our late arrival we stayed in that room. The next day it was confirmed by the room maid that this was a 1 person room. The on-duty manager nevertheles said that this was their standard 2-person room. Only after we treatened to move out were we assigned a real 2-person room. We did however have to pay also the 2 person rate for the first night in the crammed room. Otherwise we were very happy in this delightfull hotel.

Such a disappointment”
First off one flight of stairs can be charming; five flights of impossibly narrow stairs with a caged elevator that is terribly slow and looks scary is ridiculous and unsafe. The bed, are you kidding, was so old that the mattress had large depressed areas and should have been replaced years ago. The bathroom was old, the tiles were cracked, the sink drain was tarnished and the mat in the shower was stained. I cannot believe what I paid for two rooms. The second hotel room required that you enter through the most narrow hallway that I have ever seen. Certainty not up to code and the numerous fire doors within the structure make you feel even more unsafe. If I hadn't paid early I would have left and taken my chances somewhere else.

Nice hotel, terrific staff, but tiny rooms. ”
Great staff'. Nice location, but for the money the rooms are too small. Also it needs to be updated, at the very least painted. Next time I'll try a different hotel.

Fine”
It was ok, the rooms are modern, but with with very thin walls. Bathrooms are big. Location was superb, easy access to parks, underground, shops, restaurants. Harrods is 2 minutes walk away. It was a bit expensive though. Bed was small for 2 people but comfortable pillows.
