A true paradise!”
The location is lovely, the food is excellent, the staff is lovely and excellent and you will find here silence in a peaceful environment! It was a wonderful stay!
Great hotel, but lots of steps”
The staff and the food were great, as was the ayurvedic treatment. The power outages were acceptable and these will go soon. The rooms were okay for the money and we loved our little balcony. Although we were there for trekking, the hotel steps were the hardest part of 5-6 hour days trekking.
Not worth the money”
The property was good and view amazing. Had this been coupled with equally satisfactory services then our stay would have been exceptional. However, there were a few reasons for disappointment. There were no fans and AC in the room which is quite surprising. The swimming pool had frogs inside instead of children. Saw a few people with small kids dressed in swimming dress return back due to frogs swimming in the pool. The front desk accepts payment through credit card with a surcharge of 3.5% and NO receipt for the surcharge. Food was decent but too expensive.
My stay ”
Nice place to stay between treks.”
OVER PRICED & no service at all”
THIS HOTEL IS NOT PREPARED TO GIVE THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THEY CHARGE FOR. Hot shower ONLY from 6AM-8AM! Internet connection switched off from the management most of the day. Electricity cut during the hole night and randomly during the day. Not even a bottle of water in the room. Really, in Nepal for a Hotel, i was expecting MUCH MORE of what they offer. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!
Serenity by the Begnas lake”
There are 2 famous lakes in Pokhara. Phewa lake is the most famous one, as the centre of the tourist activity in the heart of the city. But if you prefer the "quiet" lake, then Begnas lake is your choice. Begnas Lake resort is the biggest resort right on lake shore. It offers serenity and comfort.
very relaxing, peaceful and spectacular view!”
it was our first visit to nepal and we were looking for other city to visit apart from the capital city, kathmandu. we found pokhara as the second most visited city in nepal. we then made a research on accommodations in pokhara and found begnas lake resort & villa. despite it's location of 12km away from pokhara city centre and airport, choosing this resort was the best decision! located at the hillside of begnas lake (2nd largest lake in pokhara) and surrounded by lush flora and fauna with amazing, beautiful and scenic view of the snow capped mountain range of annapurna at the background, begnas lake resort and villa is a definitely a hidden gem! there are 2 ways to reach this resort. you can either drive to begnas bazaar and take a boat to the resort or you can drive all the way up to the main entrance of the resort. begnas lake resort & village may not have a grand or stylish entrance, but the minute you step down to the reception/club house area, you'll be simply mesmerised by what this resort has to offer, the amazing view!!! during our stay, we felt relaxed and at peace. you can simply do absolute nothing and yet have a great quality time. our favourite place is the outdoor sitting area at the one and only restaurant and club house in the resort, sipping a cup or two of coffee and hot chocolate. you can never get bored by the view.. the staff are friendly and warm. always smiling and provide great hospitality. we also managed to walk around the neighbouring villages and were greeted by the friendly villagers. we would highly recommend this begnas lake resort & villa if you are planning to visit pokhara for an enjoyable relaxing experience! thank you, begnas lake resort & villa for making our vacation in nepal a memorable one! we were blessed to end 2013 and start 2014 at your resort!
Great place very relaxing”
It was Greatttt! Incredible service, great room, amazing staff, great massage and private yoga sessions....Amazing and very relaxing stay!
Fairly remote . very quiet. High security.”
The hotel was too remote for me ie it takes almost an hour to get there by road and then boat. YOu need to be fit to get around the hotel eg 120 steps from boat ramp to Reception. 70 more to my room etc. lovely staff who tried their hardest in difficult circumstances for them.
good, but difficult traffic”
It is good when staying at hotel. But, it is very difficult to access the hotel from either airport or downtown. I wonder how many taxi drivers know this hotel's loaciton.
Friendly professional attentive staff. ”
It was sort of pleasant in the day time that I enjoyed boating and swimming in the lake. However, this hotel is specialized for cancer patients spa and yoga therapy which is a little bit scary. Especially they don't have any electricity and internet and staffs after midnight! Highly suggests think about it if you are travel by yourself!
Great rooms, relaxing, lots of fresh air ”
A very comfortable stay. The rooms are large and very good, with great lakeside and mountain view. Well kept grounds and has an on-site ayuverda doctor and spa.
Experience rural Nepal without sherpas”
Relax and good ambience”
Gd place to relax.fantastic lake and snow mountain view.
Fabulous Lake & Mountain View”
We stayed at the hotel for 3 days. On the first day, we arrive at the hotel by boat, unforgettable experience. Begnas lake is more serene than Phewa lake. Looking out from the hotel room, the view is just breathtaking. The staff is very nice and helpful. Strongly recommended.
Great place and great accomodation”
We as a family had a very nice break at Begnas, the hotel is very nice and so the location. Very good service and nice showers!!
Excellent hotel - managed extremely well”
This was an excellent hotel to splurge, after staying in budge places throughout nepal. It was worth every cent. Rooms were immaculate, service was friendly and efficient, everything was great. Highly recommended
