My family and I enjoyed and loved everything in the hotel. Good experiences: -The check in/out were smooth. they provided us the requested bed and the room was clean. They have a daily housekeeping even when we don't request for it. They changed the towels daily, although not necessary but this is something I appreciated as we need to be always clean for our baby. -My baby made friends with the staffs as they are very friendly. They were so attentive to my baby's need. They also helped me pacify my baby when he had some tantrums.They have an air-conditioned play area for kids too. -They prepared a birthday surprise for my husband and gave a complimentary cake. -They served good food in Mirea restaurant, but the choices are limited -The massage was so good. It was the first time that I fell asleep while having a massage. Not so good: -No other nearby restaurants. Alona area is where most of the restaurants and fast foods are but it's a bit far. They do have a shuttle going to/from Alona that only have 1 trip a day where it leaves 8pm and back at 10:30. But it's still fine with us as we love to just stay in the hotel and enjoy their amenities. Overall, a wonderful stay. We love to go back in Bohol because of The Bellevue.

The restaurant food was priced slightly cheaper than Cebu resort but was way better and more portions. We never had to leave for dinner but we loved that they gave free shuttle during set times to go explore alona beach which had plenty of places to eat. Room was very clean and we got the lowest grade room but it was still massive. View was in the back but didn't bother us as we barely stayed in he room. View of the beach was amazing and it was nice to see it change from shallow beach to full beach within hours due to high and low tide. Good size pool but only downfall for me and it's a personal thing was didn't realize how family friendly this resort was. If you have families great place lots of kids. Didn't bother us much cuz the pool was plenty big. Staff was amazing, very friendly. Would definately come back again. Side not on our check out they gave us our bill and my wife noticed an extra charge of some sort. Bringing it up to their attention they then took it off saying double charge but that amount didn't double up anywhere else. Just double check your final bills.

The bathroom was also huge and had a bathtub, which I really appreciated. I specifically chose Bellevue Bohol because of the bathtub. The service was excellent, from check-in, accommodating our requests, the restaurants, to every staff member we encountered, all the way to check-out. Really something to consider in a five-star hotel. I knew there was a kids’ club, which was perfect for my sister, but I didn’t realize that many of the daily activities were also open to adults. We ended up enjoying almost everything the hotel had to offer. The food at both restaurants was also great.

We booked our stay through Agoda and selected the option for breakfast to be included for all travelers. Unfortunately, we later discovered that our 12-year-old son’s breakfast was not included, even though we had clearly ticked the option. I tried to resolve the issue through Agoda, but could only get through to their AI chat system—no human support was available, which was very frustrating. In the end, we had to pay for his meals separately. The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely facilities. We really enjoyed the complimentary use of the kayak and paddle boards. The staff were also friendly and accommodating. However, the location is quite remote—far from the town center. Transport is mainly by tuktuk, which was uncomfortable for our group of five. When we inquired about service to drop us off to Alona which is around 7kms ride we were quoted 4500 PHP (around $90), which felt very steep. GRAB was not a reliable option either due to weak signal in the area. There is a free shuttle to Alona Beach, but it only runs around 8 PM, which is quite late if you’re just looking to go out for a family meal. The facilities were excellent—spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and modern amenities that added extra convenience to our stay. The beach was beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxing or taking a peaceful walk. There’s also a great variety of food options at the resort, and everything we tried was delicious and fresh. The lady at the front desk asked if I wanted to upgrade for an ocean view room and we agreed. It came with a fee, but it was well worth it. Our ocean view was very nice, but it wasn’t a complete ocean view. If I had to be really picky, some of the cloth furnitures in the room had some stains. The counter had what looked to be coffee stains. I tried to clean it when a wipe, but was unsuccessful. The water didn’t work all of a sudden, for about 10 mins. After, it worked fine. All the employees were so polite and attending. We had to catch a flight and we notified the server and he made a rush order for us. Everyone was accommodating and thoughtful. I booked my tours with NVR, which works with Bellevue. They were also very attentive and helped me to customize my tours. Their employees were also top notch. Thank you for making our stay in Bohol that much better.

TVs are up to date as I just signed on my Netflix and Prime accounts. Facilities are complete (borrowed a bike and a volleyball). They have lovely Koi ponds. Exclusive beach area. Happy hour at the bar is 50% off. Breakfast buffet has fried and baked bacon—the best! Good mix of guests (Filipinos, Japanese, Korean, and Americans). Bellevue also arranged for our airport transfer and our countryside tour. And the best thing about this resort is the people! Always there. Always helpful and courteous.

Staff were all very friendly and great with kids. They go the extra mile to play the lawn games with young kids during breakfast so parents can relax. There’s a decent kids play area that is well staffed, and we enjoyed one of the resort snorkelling activities. There’s not much outside the resort but easy and cheap to get a Tuk Tuk to Alona beach (approx 10 min drive) for the more lively scenes/bars/restaurants etc. We would very happily come back again. We visited other resorts both at Doljo and Alona Beaches and they were not as great as Bellevue. Made use of their both paid and free activities. One star off due only to not giving us the right amount of towel, toiletries , and glassware even though at check in, the receptionist knew there were three of us. There were only items for 2 people. I called reception on the first day to ask for the 3rd person item. I thought that on the second day, they will adjust it but they still did the same thing until our last day. It was no deal breaker and didn’t take our enjoyment off but I expected a quick fix from a 5 star resort

They have a playroom that our kids loved so much since it had games for almost all ages: PS5, Switch, Pingpong table, chess, board games, PCs for gaming. They also provide daily activities for the family such as zumba, yoga, teaching kids to swim, archery, fish feeding, and the like. All for FREE. Outdoor, free use of pickleball court, beach vollyball, frisbee, soccer, etc. We were never bored here. If I were to write on what needs improvement, maybe just fix our centralized aircon since it was dripping. The food was good. Breakfast had a large selection and they give small treats in the room on a nightly basis. Location wasn't as near to other establishments like the Alona area. But it's all good since the resort provided everything. Pool and beach were clean. Overall, we'd be happy to stay again!

They have a nice beachfront, which was a favorite hangout for the family. The rooms are very nice by Filipino standards, but only ok by American standards (dated and in need of sprucing up, 3 stars by American standards). That said, a Westerner will be very hard-pressed to find better accommodations in Bohol; this is probably the best resort on the island, without question one of the top 2 or 3. The staff is very friendly and helpful, as would be expected in a country that prides itself on its friendly and welcoming hospitality. on that score, they didn't disappoint. Overall, this is a great destination for native Filipinos, and if you're a Westerner looking for significantly nicer accommodations, then you need to rethink coming to Bohol period; there just isn't something that's the equivalent of a Westin or even the Sheraton Cebu Mactan on any part of the island. Overall, we're all very pleased and plan to return when we come back to the Philippines to visit my wife's family in a couple of years.

Some parts of the room could use renovation, deep cleaning, or replacement. Everything else was great the food and service were excellent, and the staff went above and beyond. The only downside was one of the older female staff at the restaurant, who was very loud and talkative. As a guest, I preferred a quiet, relaxing environment, and her aggressive way of picking up utensils or plates sometimes interrupted conversations. She is nice but comes across as a bit arrogant. Nevertheless, it didn’t ruin my vacation, which I had planned and earned. I’ll definitely make sure to come back.

The beach have fine sand and being cleaned everyday, but there are seaweeds making the beach looked unclean but it is clean and swimmable. The room are spacious and very comfy and always being cleaned. There’s also a free small snacks everyday send to the rooms. Probably just on breakfast and dinner buffet, hope there’s a lot of other options to choose from given the amount it cost. But all in all the hotel/resort is very accommodating and very exclusive. Good for family like us who wants exclusivity and privacy.

Most of the staff would converse with me in Bisaya or their native dialect, assuming I understood. As a Filipino who is not from the Visayas region, I honestly couldn’t understand a single word. I believe that as frontliners in the hospitality industry, staff should make English or Tagalog their primary language when speaking with guests, regardless if the guest is Filipino or foreign. It feels a bit uncomfortable having to remind them to switch to a language I can actually understand. For a hotel setting, where clear communication is essential, I hope management can address this and train staff to always default to English or Tagalog. This way, all guests can feel accommodated and avoid unnecessary misunderstandings.
