Relaxing Place to be and the Most Friendly Staff”

Friendly Staff, Beautiful Landscape and Well Maintained Room

We stay in the hotel from 12 July to 17 July. We choose this hotel as per the picture show and indeed, what you see in the picture does not justify how beautiful the hotel is in real. This holiday if for me and my Bf's anniversary and the staff makes it extra special as they gave us a complimentary cake for our Anniversary celebration. This may seems to be a small things but it does makes a lot of difference. I can say that this hotel is one of the best hotel we have been to. They have the most friendly staff that speaks good English and room itself is well maintained room. If i remembered correctly there was a room service twice to maintained your room. Breakfast is great as well. If you are planning to get this hotel make sure you have it with breakfast as their BF is buffet style and they have lots of variety to choose from. Take note, their breakfast do change every day! The location is somehow located in western part of Panglao Island, I suggest you communicate with the hotel when you will be arriving as they have a pick up service from Airport to hotel which is 30-40 mins drive. Dinner is ok but i suggest you go somewhere that is way much cheaper than the hotel price. We rented a scooter as well to go around. Scooter is cheap PHP500 for a day and pretty much decent. Easiest way to go around the island and go to main city. I remembered that 2 days before we check out, typhoon hit Philippines. I am amazed how Bohol is not that much affected with the typhoon although it does rain but not heavy. After going around the area through scooter, realizing that rain will not going to stop soon, we decided to go back to hotel and stay. Initially thought it was boring but although we are stuck in the hotel, there are so many things to do, go to gym, play indoor sport, play playstation. All are provided. Overall, i am very happy that we choose Bellevue Hotel and will highly recommend it for Family and couples who want to have a great beach holiday in Bohol.

Awesome place. Nice beach and pool, friendly staff”

shuttle, rooms, beach

Overall, it was a great experience. When we arrive at Tagbilaran Airport, the Bellevue staff greeted with all smiles and gave us a welcoming necklace. The transfer was very efficient, they were already there 30 mins before we arrive. The hotel staff are very friendly and attentive. I requested to have a room with an ocean view and they gave it. The room is clean and huge for the two of us. Complete things, toiletries, slippers, towels, etc. They even have an ipod dock! we used it to have great music inside the room. Balcony is a plus. We loved the interior design not just in the room, but in the hotel itself. There's wifi, internet is fast which makes me love this place more. The infinity pool is awesome, from 4ft to 12 ft. I loved swimming in their pool. There are lifeguards as well. The view of the beach is relaxing. And white beach! Good for picture taking.. hehe. They have 3 restaurants (1 is a bar) - which serves good food. A little pricey, but it's totally worth it. Each dish is good for at least 2-3 persons. If you will stay, make sure to try their facilities. We play billiards and darts during our free time. They also have an arcade downstairs. A gym also and a spa for total relaxation. So, yeah. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this place to our friends. Bohol is a must-visit here in the Philippines. First time to see the chocolate hills, and it's spectacular. :) Panglao Island is a wonderful place, with it's white beaches and culture. Will definitely go back to this place the next time we visit Bohol. :)

parent with child”

You can arrange a pick-up from any Panglao hotel resort. I chose to stay for my last two nights in Bohol in their hotel because I knew I would get the total relaxation I needed after island-hopping and other water activities. They offer a free shuttle ride from hotel to Panglao's little Boracay where you can enjoy the nightlife or Bohol's good food for a cheaper price at other restos/bars outside Doljo area. But if you aren't budget-conscious, Marea and Lamian restos of Bellevue offer delectable dishes in generous servings . Kudos to all staff (from concierge, front desk officers, housekeeping to waiters and bartenders). We were spoiled. So, we'd definitely go back.

New, Modern Resort”

Staff, Sea view, Pool

Bellevue Resort is a new, modern resort located in Panglao. It is a bit far away from Alona beach (about 30 min ride) and no shopping mall nearby. In gist, the resort is great for its private beach and pool. The sea view and infinity pool are super awesome. The staff are attentive and will do everything to satisfy our needs. However, food choice at the restaurant is limited. Only one fusion restaurant is open all the day and Beach buffet is only open for group tour. It is recommended to reserve one day for island hopping to Malicasag Island and Virgin Island. I am sure the beach and underwater world will make you a surprise. :)

IM INLOVE ”

Location, Staff, Food

I have never been to Bohol, and it isn't even on my top 10 bucket list to go to as well, but since I have extended my stay in the Philippines and thinking to go where there is a beach been looking a lot of places then it just crossed my mind WHY NOT BOHOL so I did book tickets while browsing all hotels around Bohol I saw a lot of good places as I saw Bellevue Resort I have to look into it 3x to book it or not but then I go ahead and do it. The day we arrived in Bohol the staff who picked us up from the airport is very nice, friendly and helpful and also lots of knowledge about the place which is very impressing. The staff are very nice and I feel so relax and comfortable and relax I should say that its a paradise having dinner with such a view of sunset beach while a live singer serenades. it was lovely being in there. I want to go back now.

The tragic quake damaged this wonderful new resort”

Staff, location, Bohol's wonders

Due to the tragic quake that hit Bohol, our one day extension wss aborted and the wonderful staff quickly cared for the remaining guests in their tent pavilion next door with plenty of food, water, mattresses and attention. They then arranged at their account for our dozen families to transfer to the Bluewater Resort for the evening while we waited for transport to reopen to Cebu. We hope and pray that both Bohol and the Bellevue Resort recover quickly and that the wonders of Bohol are again open to the public and that the Bellevue staff and resort can welcome guests soon.

first class resort with top notch service”

Big hotel rooms, well designed, excellent customer service, really good food, well-maintained beach

we loved our stay at bellevue bohol. the service was great! as we checked in upon our arrival, we were handed a refreshing pineapple juice. it was those little touches that we enjoyed about our stay: the personalized notes, the delicious cookies brought by the nightly turndown service, the fresh fruit brought to us after checking in. bellevue was everything we expected from a first class resort. our room was large, well designed and had a phenomenal view of the ocean. the food was a great mix of filipino and western dishes. the resort itself is beautifully designed and well maintained from the coy pond to the beach front. the design and concept of the resort was very well thought out.

Great Option for Bohol ”

We've been to Bellevue Resort before, and the resort continues to be a great option for Bohol visitors. It's location is quite isolated, though it is only a few minute drive to Alona Beach. The amenities are sufficient enough for the whoel family to relax and have fun.... The food options are okay - may be a bit pricey - but service of staff is excellent. The pool area can be quite crowded as it is not too big. Their beach front is not as nice as Alona, but good enough to lounge and relax. Overall, Bellevue remains to be a great option when visiting lovely Bohol.

The reason i go back to bohol”

The first time i set foot in this resort, it was just me and my sister with 2 kids, experience was so good, imagine the chef going out of his way to ask if my toddler was eating well and if we had any requests for her food, to just inform the kitchen and they would do it for her? I brought a larger group the 2nd time around - total of 5 rooms with suite, and again, BELLEVUE did not disappoint. I am booked for next year again, and i cant wait to go back. Without a doubt, this resort is the reason i will always go back to bohol, and i hope it doesnt change. Staff are well trained are always there to help, there is nothing ridiculous with any of your requests, they will go above and beyond to please you. Really really really good service. Food is amazing. Resort well maintained and clean. Resort has its own private beach. Water facilities are available. I just cant wait to go back!

Fantastic weekend getaway from Manila”

Balcony, quiet, service

We had two nights to escape the big smoke of Manila- Bellevue Resort was perfect. Pick ups, easy check in, big(ish) clean modern rooms with sea views. Def book or ask for sea views, there are garden rooms and I don't think the romantic feel would have been the same! All staff were attentive and took time to make sure our stay was fun and attentive. Its gorgeously quiet - but that is Bohol! Even with a triathlon one that weekend- we loved it. Not much to choose from on Bohol- so this will be up there as one of the better resorts I think! We hired a scooter and made our way around the island. There isn't much nearby the Bellevue, so Alona beach for dinner with your feet in the sand is a must. Taxis, trikes , the staff will guide you. My constructive feedback is they need a toaster! A proper one. The hotel at capacity with soggy bread with eggs- hate to think. We were lucky it was quiet. Also although pool is fabulous- we like bigger. We are a couple and try and avoid kidlets. Was ok though! Lifeguards are onto the kids running and screaming around- phew! Sad to hear about earthquake- peace and wishes to all! Hope all staff ok. We only just scootered through loboc on the wend!

Fine but nothing special”

It was new, clean and right on the beach.

I stayed at the Bellevue with a few friends from 30 Mar - 3 Apr. The hotel and its facilities are very new. There seemed to be a funny smell in the hall on our floor. The rooms were comfortable. We had a decent-sized balcony overlooking the pool and the ocean, which was nice. The hotel responded quickly when we ordered room service or requested ice, extra towels, etc. However, considering its 5-star status, the service on the beach was lacking. The food at the hotel was mediocre. One thing that bothered us was that the hotel charged us to make local calls. It wasn't a lot of money but it seems a bit off considering the cost to stay at the hotel. Moreover, we stayed at the the Ananyana Resort next door for one night (March 28) and they did not charge and actually made many phone calls for us to help save us time and hassle (even when we moved to the Bellevue). At some point, we needed to check our flight time and the Bellevue's front desk connected us with the airline hotline. When we checked out the next day, there was an almost 500 peso charge on our bill for that phone call. They did take off the charge once we had stated our discontent with it but, in principal, it should have never been there. Another thing was that the Bellevue forgot to pick up my friends from the ferry. I had arrived the day before with a few friends and we had called from Ananyana to arrange the pick-up. When my friends arrived at the pier, they waited 20 min before calling the Bellevue who assured them the driver was 10 minutes away. After 10 min, my friends called to check again and they were told the driver was almost there and would be there any minute. This carried on for an hour and my friends finally gave up and took a tuktuk to the resort. They were reimbursed the 500 pesos transport but again, this should not have happened. Overall, our stay at the Bellevue was pleasant but lacking the attention to detail that a 5-star resort should have. Hopefully, these are just growing pains

Worth your money”

Bellevue is very near the new Panglao airport, though its at the very end of the island and transportation is very limited (and expensive). However within the resort itself there are already a lot of activities that you can do for free (some at an affordable rate). The resort is beautifully maintained and the staff are very accommodating. Will definitely come back!

Excellent service and soft, comfy beds and pillows.

The Bellevue Hotel is the nicest hotel I ever stayed because of the excellent service and the best comfy beds I ever slept in. The location is somewhat far but in the future it would be near the international airport in Panglao Island (approx. 5-10 minutes). They also have a lovely infinity pool, however, their beach is not good for snorkeling. The hotel needs to provide more activities for young and old alike.

Pleasant stay”

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel with our 2 kids below 4 years old.We enjoyed that it was secluded and private. It wasn't crowded and loud, unlike the strip of resorts in another part of the island. The pool was beautiful, the surroundings were clean, the staff were friendly. However, the beach itself wasn't very nice. There were no waves, the water was very shallow. We did not enjoy the beach at all. We went to Alona beach nearby, and the beach there was a lot better in comparison to the beach at Bellevue. All in all, we did enjoy our stay because of the place and the amenities, but if you want to come to enjoy the beach, Bellevue would not be the right place to do so.

Easy Getaway”

Bellevue was just right for our family with teens as well as a toddler. There is a wide range of activities available in the resort itself as well as around Bohol. Nice enough to simply lounge around the hotel too. Service was excellent, especially at the reception and spa. The buffet breakfast though falls short of other hotel buffets in that price range...could offer more fresh fruits and juices at the least.

I really like the people/staff in Bellevue. Very friendly and makeS you think that they are really trained well. They upgraded our room from garden view to ocean view so that's a plus plus for me. I like the room because it's clean and big enought. It has balcony which you can see the beach front and pool from where you stand. I like the foods in Marea because it serves good food and reasonable price with artsy plating. A new, stylish resort with great sea view”

Infinity Pool, Private Beach

We stayed in The Bellevue Resort for 2 nights. The resort was open in Nov 2012 and everything in the room were in excellent condition. The view, pool, and the beach were super awesome. Except that the resort was remote which requires about 30 mins ride to the Alona beach. No store and restaurant could be found near the resort and you can only dine and play in the resort. The staff there were very kind and attentive. On the day of our departure, we carelessly left our snorkelling gears in our rooms, they specially arranged a staff to give the gears back to us in the pier. Really many thanks for their hospitality.

From the moment we checked in to the hotel until we left everything was how I had imagined it to be and so much more. We were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary on this trip and Bellevue resort never failed to make us feel special and well taken cared of. We received a couple of freebies like some sweets even fruits and peanut kisses. On the day of our anniversary we even got a personalized cake! A shuttle is also provided going to Alona where you can choose from a wide variety of restaurants and bars as well as shops. Everytime we pass by the lobby or restaurants someone's always there to say Hi and offer us assistance. Thank you Bellevue for your warm hospitality! Keep up the good work! Beautiful Resort”

Bellevue is a wonderful resort - perfect for travelers looking for a relaxing getaway. Rooms are large and bathrooms are nice. Try to get a sea view to maximize use of your balcony. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We also tried the spa, a bit pricey but was done very professionally - no complaints. Food is okay, nothing too memorable but decent. Because the resort is rather isolated, you'd have to rent transportation if you want to eat somewhere else... Though rent a trike for USD3 and your in Alona Beach. They have a nice pool though not too big... Their beach front has nice lounge chairs but the beach itself s not all that great for swimming (you'll have to find the patches of sand)... Overall, if your looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway, Bellevue is worth your consideration.
