Had a great stay at The Benjamin. Room was very clean and neat, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I’m definitely coming back! If you’re looking for an elegant yet affordable place, then this is the place for you.

Comfi & awesome breakfast”
First thing I noticed the carpets in passageways are a bit worn BUT beyond that the property is a hidden gem. There are so many outstanding points from attentive staff to an enjoyable pool, it is definitely worth a visit. Oh btw breakfast is awesome and well presented. Thank you.

Lovely Hotel and Value for Money”
This hotel is lovely. I’ve had the best night sleep here on my whole trip from the Eastern Cape. The facilities are great abs they have some off street parking behind the hotel. Bathrooms are a tiny bit small but still such good value for money!

The hotel was great it's modern with an antique feel that shows through some of the bedroom furniture. The rooms and hotel is clean. The beds are very comfortable with white linen. If you will need to check in early make sure to call ahead to confirm. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Home away from home”
What a beautiful hotel. Perfectly located next to restaurants, walking distance to mall and post office. Our room opened onto pool area, could dine outside and enjoy the beautiful weather. Swims we're great as pool is great for laps. Meals we're great value for money and full of flavour. Had a wonderful time. Definitely coming back soon.

the place is good i would recommend it, my wife and i enjoyed it. Disappointing though on our last day that we could not have breakfast, they took longer to serve us as we were in a hurry.

Intercom to access parking was out of order, one call and the gate was opened. Parking area seemed secure. There was not enough parking so other patrons parked me in, luckily I did not have to leave leave in an emergency. The receptionist was friendly. check-in was seamless. I liked the old fashion key rather than the access card entry so there were no access issues. Room was clean, aircon worked well. When I arrived the door was left open so there were many mosquitoes inside. A call to reception and the room was sprayed, sorting out the mosquito issue. The iron arrived promptly after requesting it and it was in good condition. If you are a lite sleeper, this place is not for you. There was loud music and noise from the pub nearby, when the pub closed, the party continued on the street. Check out was seamless. This place offers good value for money, the only reasons I would not use it again is the amount of noise at night (this was a Wednesday night) as well as the fact that I got parked in, and I would have had an issue if I needed to leave in an emergency.

Great location on Florida Road but this has its down side. The music was blaring until the early hours of the morning. Staff were fantastic but this is a challenge with some rooms. Rooms are comfortable but looking a bit tired in places

Dear James, Thank you for your constructive feedback. We know we have a problem with the noise in Florida Road and are working on it with the businesses in the area. We do our best to accommodate people who are light sleepers by keeping them as far away from the madness of the road. We are refurbishing the rooms but can only do a few at a time. Great place on popular Florida Road”
Lovely place on a popular street with great access to restaurants and variety of entertainment venues all within walking distance of hotel. Room we were in had some noisy extraction fan which came on with the bathroom light. The chest of drawers also a challenge to open as they were misaligned.
