The area that the hotel is situated in,seems to be a quiet area of South Kensington. I must say at this point that I stayed overnight,weekday. I booked a queen room,It`s only a little more than standard, would rather a King however. I found that the breakfast menue had mixed messages for me. I noticed that eggs are classed vegaterian (some places do) please note that an egg would be a chicken! The staff,in my view are polite. If you take into account the price of five star hotels in this area, I would say that The Bentley is good value.

Traditional luxury”
The Bentley is a wonderful hotel. It’s decor is palatial and traditional. We were upgraded to a suite which was unexpected, the suite was great with a comfortable bed and a glorious bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing too. Well worth a visit.

Nice rooms, facilities, location and personalised service ”
I had a really great stay here around the Christmas and NY peak season despite the hotel being fully booked at the time. Staff were attentive and responsive. The rooms were old but spacious and comfortable. The jacuzzi was a big plus. For me, part of the charm of the hotel is that it's old and traditional, and feels more homely than the Hiltons and Marriott types. I'm not a fan of the minimalistic hoteliers in terms of new age decor and minimalistic service. This hotel reminds me of the more traditional 4 seasons and mandarins but at a fraction of the price. The con is that it is older and things are not spotlessly maintained, so if you want the "new" feel then this is probably not it. Another plus is that there's a seperate elevator down to the spa & gym from the room, so you can go down in a robe or gym gear and wouldn't run into other people. The location is great for shopping @ Knightsbridge and coming from Heathrow and is residential so didn't encounter hoards of tourists.

Best service in an amazing location”
we were 14 people, in ages ranging from 8 months to 90 years. every one in our family loved the hotel: the staff could not have been nicer, the rooms were very large, the bathrooms impressive and nobody heard our baby cry thanks to the large walls. but the best feature was still the service: from the front desk staff to the servers at breakfast, everyone was smiling and always willing to help. by far our best experience in london.

charming english hotel”
beautiful old hotel that has recently been bought by a bigger hotel chain and has great management. the rooms are sizeable as far as london accomadation goes and very well fitted out. the full english breakfast was amazing and could of fed 3 people. this hotel was not dead in the heart of london, but was a nice walk through the park into the action. i would stay at this hotel again for sure.

Perfect location, friendly staff!”
Comfortable, clean hotel in a great central location. Friendly, helpful staff. The hotel was walking distance to the Natural History & Science Museum as well as shops like Harrods. Our room was spacious with a separate bath & shower and dressing area, we stayed in a Deluxe King on the 7th floor. Decor could probably do with an update and room was very hot in November, had to open windows. The room did have temperature control but the lowest it would go down to was 18c. Breakfast was lovely, plenty to choose from in a buffet style and quiet comfortable seating with huge space between other tables. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel and lovely rooms”
This could be a place for you and your love one to stay if you are on a honeymoon. The bedrooms are beautiful and the service was good. Could be a one time experience if price is a factor. The food was good and we had them in room service too which you could enjoy waking up late and still enjoy them. Despite having our air-conditioning broke down in the middle of the night, they provided us another room as soon as possible. Location was near a tube and you could find food in the nearby even till late.

Luxurious comfort without being over the top. ”
I thoroughly enjoyed my one night at this luxurious hotel. Quiet, comfortable and cosey. The breakfast was very tasty and there was quite a selection. The staff were warm, inviting and very helpful. The hotel is perfectly located near the tube station and several restaurants close by, even a convenience store half a block away. I would definately stay there again, and make it a longer stay. Small, luxurious hotel in Kensington. Very quiet, beautiful rooms and pleasant, smiling staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. Afternoon tea is a must and chef provided us with a delicious early evening meal before the theatre. Would definitely go back.

Grand old hotel, like fine china but with a few chips. ”
Beautiful place with its stateliness by and large intact. Good location sfor museums and galleries, Knightsbridge and Hype Park. Tube a block away and V&A a short walk. Large, comfortable room is a treat for London.

Disappointed ”
I was very disappointed by the standard of my room. It's extremely dated and there were stains on the carpet and wallpaper. I would not categorise this hotel as 5 star. The food also was very poor. I stayed for 3 days and only had one meal that was nice. Also the drinks are very small and you are charged every time you order something. I won't be recommending or staying here again. The foyer is beautiful but the rooms are in need of updating. Very disappointed.

is not the first time we spend a weekend there. The rooms are gorgeous , breakfast sumptuous. Only thing it bother me a bit is the check out time that is 12. Not that if you are late you are charged, but it would be nice to have a lie in and savour the ambiance . For the rest is superb.

Very disappointed ”
It was a special treat for us , was very looking forward to it , we got a cheaper deal , but though it was still disappointing for what we payed , there where Staines at the headboard , the shower temperature wasn't changing from very hot to cold , no binliners in the room bins , the TVs picture was very unclear and hard to see . We payed separate for a champagne afternoon tea , that was absolutely lovely , and I would recommend it to my friends. The staff was nice , but could do with some better quality uniforms us it didn't look very professional for such a great looking hotel .
