Very strategic location at the exclusive beverly hills area. Parking fee very 2 expensive and unreasonable . Minimum facilities for foods selections. Standard 5 star room & amenities , except no compliment watear provided. Overall ,achieve 4-5 star hotel stamdard.

Comfortable, fairly expesnive hotel”
The hotel was centrally located, as you could join tours, catch buses to the beach or to the city. It was convenient for us to do a bit of sight seeing whilst alo unwinding by the pool at the end of a long trip. You get what you pay for: a standard room is comortable but has no views; the there is no free wifi access in the rooms (only in the lobby and by the pool) and no free internet access in the business centre. We asked to be placed in the refurbished, taller Wiltshire tower but that would require an "upgrade"; we asked for a later check out, however even though they were not fully booked this automatically attracts an additional half room rate; food by the pool is expensive. I am a Hilton Honors Member but this did not give me any benefits whatsoever, not even a more friendly welcome.

Beautiful Hotel, excellent staff.”
This was the last stop on a 13 week vacation in North America for our honeymoon. When checking in, we mentioned this to the guy at reception and he was full of congratulations. That was nice but then an hour or so after we checked in, while relaxing in our super comfortable room, there was a knock at our door. It was a staff member with a bottle of champagne and a selection of chocolates. Totally unexpected and set the scene for the remained of our two night stay.

Great friendly hotel in nice quiet place”
Overall small classy hotel that has everything that you might need and feels homely too. All staff were friendly and showed willingness to help whenever called for. Nice late night bar and does great breakfast too. Pool was also great.

Very old building”
The hotel is very old and needs a major renovation, from the rooms to the carpets and to the elevators. Some staff needs some training on how to deal with guests, during check in we had to wait for a long time to get our baggage. Breakfast is quite good and have a very big variety, location is superb and very close to the main shopping street "Rodeo Drive". Self parking and Valet parking costs the same (42 USD per day). Room service menu has a good variety of food and prices are reasonable. Price paid for the hotel is quite a lot for the very old property. Lobby are looks good compared to the rooms and corridors.

Great location but needs a good upgrade”
We stayed for three nights and I'm glad that's all we stayed. For the price we paid at least a coffee maker in the room but no. I requested one but this was not followed through. Cup of coffee $7.50 one beer $9. Booked a tour for Universal Studios through the hotel and waited at the designated spot. They came swiped our card and left without us! We ended up taking a taxi after waiting around for the outcome! Got reimbursed but the comment from the man behind the desk regarding reimbursement to clients very inappropriate. We stowed our luggage at the hotel for the day due to a late flight. I asked about a late checkout and was told only the latest we could check out was an hour after the checkout time. I then found out through a guest that we could have got a half day rate...no mention of this from the lady behind the desk. We waited 25 minutes to retrieve our luggage no explanation regarding why it took so long! When it did come we took it off the trolley whilst the man pushing it watched on. Once it was off then said "Don't you want to put it back on and I'll push the trolley to the taxi?" Common sense to tell/do this in the first place. Best part of the stay the lovely waitress in the lobby bar was fabulous service and a great smile! The beds in the room were to die for! Would we go back....no. Am I a Hilton rewards member-no longer!

Great hotel & location but not the room”
We enjoyed our stay except for the room location. We were on the 2nd floor which was right next to a busy road. We were very aware of traffic noise and were so thankful that we were staying on a weekend as during the week it would have been extremely noisy.

Terrible before upgraded to appropriate room”
Placed in an old section in a room compatible with some two star facilities. When we complained and showed the manager many unsatisfactory aspects of the room we were offered an upgrade. This is the quality of what I expected on the first place. From then on the stay was lovely.
