View was great bad breakfast”
I have high expectation for this hotel because we paid quite some money to stay. They have advertised that it is "Maldives Thailand" which was true. The villa and area were quite nice and beautiful. Beach was clean and clear and have many activities inside. The pool was a bit small, but it's all good. The problem I have is that Staff has no basic service mind. We waited for a while when we sat down at the restaurant and finally had to go to the bar to order and look for a menu myself. I ordered a chocolate milkshake and it's too sweet so I ask for more milk to add and the staff gave me the look! BREAKFAST was the WORST!!! Salad bar has no good quality of veggies. Ham and sausage are cheap qualities. There are not so many selections of food and very short time to open (only 7-9am). I was very disappointed because we paid 5000 a night it could be better.
Disappointing Lagoon ”
Very disappointed to find that the lagoon only fills at King tides! We stayed 3 nights and it was absolutely dry - and very sad looking! At high tide the water was no more than 6 inches in a few areas, so I assume it only fills in King tides. For us it looked like a dry mangrove! The room was small and the bathroom is large. I would only recommend Seaview rooms # 1 and #2 which are right on the beautiful beach. The restaurant is a beautiful environment with amazing views. Sadly the breakfast, lunch and dinner are all below standard and similar to a 3-star establishment. The wait staff are straight faced and reluctant to smile - apart from our waiter Nine(?) who was excellent! Nice pool area but overall I’d say the property does not deliver. Sadly it seemed the best option on the island, apart from Sabai Sabai Bungalows who apparently have a couple of upmarket villas!
A paradise in hibernation.”
Booked initially into JJ resort on the other side of the island however on arrival would not stop there. Managed to book into Blue sky beach villa. Staff very friendly and attentive the beach villa was clean, tastefully decorated and fantastic views. Restaurant was a little pricy for the quality of food and drinks were expensive but then they have the monopoly as most places were not open because of low season it seems the island hibernates during low season. one complaint for the hotel the restaurant played back ground music from 0645 until 2200 which was way to loud and spoilt the peace and tranquillity of the resort. The island itself is plaqued by the Thai problem of litter plastic bottles which for me detracted from its beauty.
Best Hotel in Phayam in the low season”
nice hotel, breakfast was ok. there were ants and a cockroach in our room. there are also some dogs strolling around in the night, we didnt mind, but other people might. this problem has every place in koh payam. in the low season this seems the best option if you are not only looking for bungalow.
Relatively the Best on Phayam”
This hotel seems overpriced for what it is, and compared to most other destinations in Thailand, it is. But having spent a few nights on Koh Phayam in different spots, I can confidently say that this is the best the island has to offer, by a long shot. The comfy bed, (almost) hot water, clean swimming pool, and friendly staff were all very refreshing. My only complaint was the restaurant wanting to charge a corkage fee for bringing our own wine. Normally the corkage fee at hotel restaurants is waived for hotel guests. That has been the case at every single hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Thailand, until this one. I looked at their own wine selection but it was pitiful. There was only one bottle of Shiraz and one white fruit wine, both of which they were charging way too much money for. So we opted to skip the dinner at the hotel and instead walked down the road to Phayam Seafood. They had no problem with us bringing our own wine.
The resort location was very close to the main pier. The room was lovely and spacious with a view of mangroves. Staff were very attentive. Breakfast was limited. There should be more variety. I stayed 3 nights and had the same choice everyday. The only downside I found was the floor drain in the shower area was clogged and caused the flock of cockroaches to come out. Overall this was a good stay.
When we arrived the staff were very welcoming. We were offered a welcome drink (passion fruit i think) and relaxed at the restaurant for our rooms. The only mistake we made was that we arrive on the island at 09.30 am and had to wait until 2 pm to check in. Some hotels will allow you to early check in but not here. But that was fine we hired a motorbike and drove around the island for the time being. The hotel itself was not on the popular beaches like Ao Yai or Ao Khao Kwai. It was located righted next to the pier where the wave were very strong. Not ideal for swimming when we were the but we had great fun anyway. The rooms when we did check in was fantastic. We booked lagoon view with was nice. The view was very lovely. When the tide comes in the room is surrounded by water. The only thing the room did not have was a hot water kettle. Lucky we didn't need boiled water for our little one. The food at the hotel was nice especially the drinks. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again.
Breakfast buffet needs improvement”
The hotel was very nice, staff was really friendly and willing to help, the activities in the hotel were fantastic, the food was average but too many mosquitoes after dark.A la crate menu is okay, but breakfast is much below 4 stars average.
Time to really relax here”
Beautiful hotel with sea views to the east of Koh Payam back to the Thai mainland. Hotel has its own clean beach and lovely pool. Accommodation chalets are just as good as the photos. We went at the start of Thai low season (May) which made it that more quiet and exclusive. Not much to do on the island other than relax. 3 days was enough for us. Breakfast not great at the hotel as you have to choose from a limited menu. But dinner, especially the fish, made up for it. Hotel staff all very friendly. As it was low season the hotel had cleared away all their sun beds but we had time to relax on a hot day on the beach so we could have done with them. Hotel pick you up from the quay side by golf buggy straight to reception just 5 mins away.
I loved staying here, the pool was beautiful, the restaurant was lovely, and the room was freshly decorated and was very clean.Sea views are there but not a beach as in sandy and clean so why pay more.
Visited in low season, hotel half full. Expensive resort compared to the cheap bungalows of the island, but you get an original and charmful villa on the mangrove, which is only full of water at high tide. Very quiet, recommended for couples. Kayak and bike location are free, but if u want to go to the other side of the island, either be in good physical condition, either rent a motorcicle. Kayaling in the mangrove and in the sea is relaxing. The island is still virgin enough to be alone on the beach. Staff is discreet but will be attentive to your demands. Breakfast is not buffet. Do not come here to eat. The restaurant has good taste, in both western and thai food (according to asian taste). Price is not more expensive than a meal in a shopping center in bangkok (250 - 300 THB per dish). Room very comfortable. ROmantic, whether sunny or rainy.
Peaceful and quiet holiday getaway.”
We only got to stay at this place for a night but it was a memorable one. All of the staff were very helpful and accommodating even at the pier, they point out all the important points and can answer most if not all of your questions. The villas were very clean and very well looked after. This place is quiet and romantic at the same time, more suitable to romantic getaway. The only down side to the trip is the boat ride, they should have more trips to and from the island schedule not just two or three times. A very satisfying stay and excellent food.
Beautiful, friendly staff, good facilities, would come back again
Worth for Money ”
Good Services and Facilities for your trip
Small rooms. Poor breakfast. Late pick up from pier. We got a lift from adjacent resort!”
Overpriced. Issues with block drain in bathroom. No pick up from pier, even though they were aware, we got a lift from next doors resort. Poor breakfast. We spent more time next door at Nitiporn Resort, which seemed great
Nice place and good service
The room is nice and have to place on top of the roof for you to enjoy view.
Great location, very good staff and facility”

Our trip in The blue sky Koh Phayam were displeasure ”
We were really disappointed to receive such service attitude from your resort. It is really humiliating as it reflected badly on us that two female staff(s) in chrage check in/out They were unfriendly, NOT Helpful, Impolite. It is really incredible to believe such service attitude exists. We would appreciate if resort could follow up on this matter.
