Best Accomodation In Phuket”
this is our second stay at blueco hotel kata and we found the service and facilities to be premium. it's a family run hotel and the owners are fantastic. they went out of their way to organise bikes for us and gave us tips on where to go that we would like. phuket is totally overrun with tourists so staying in kata minimised this for us. basically we only went back to blueco for the outstanding service. it's only a ten minute walk to the beach and blueco provide beach towels free of charge. they have internet in the rooms (lan) and the rooms are spacious and clean. in thailand a smile will get you everywhere, so smile at the staff and make a tiny effort with the language, this makes a world of difference to your stay. remember you're a guest in their country.

Nice Room with Great Service”
We stayed at the hotel for 4 days 3 nights during our honeymoon trip to Phuket. The location of the hotel is strategically located at New Kata Road, whereby a lots of new shop lots and new hotels started their business there. 7-11, Massage centre, Pub, Restaurants, afternoon market/bazaar are just required about 5 mins walks to reach there. Kata beach is about 15 minutes walking distance. The hotel provides free internet, free towel rental, and ticket booking services for shows and sight-seing. The breakfast also delicious. The only improvement needed is on the efficiency of room service but I think it is not too critical as the travellers usully won't be around during afternoon. Overall comment to this hotel was great! A big thank you to Agoda and BluEco Hotel for the room upgrade and nice decoration in the room.

All that we hoped it would be and more.”
When we walked into the BluEco we ere greeted with a genuine smile. The lobby is very quaint and neat - you immediately notice that the place is pretty new (paints not cracking, floors are new and clean). The rooms were great - the air conditioning wasn't humid and was very efficient. The bathroom was great - clean ad new. We got two bottles of fresh water left in our room each day and new towels (we were given beach towels upon request). Having a safe in our room was very handy but we often left or electronic gadgets out only to find they were still there. We spent lots of time at the beach and found the floors swept clean upon return every evening. I read the reviews and new the bed was hard but I'm ok with a hard bed, also ok with a small pool as we didn't spend any time in the pool when we had Kata Beach only a short walk away. The room was the perfect place for a bit of time out but we spent so much time just exploring the town of Kata and nearby beaches such as Nai Harn Beach - we fell in love with Phuket. Breakfast was a small buffet of sausages (sometimes wrapped in bacon), scrambled eggs, potato salad, toast, cakes, cereals, fruits - an interesting combination. What I really liked was the service - the staff did not dote on you but were always quick, reliable and friendly. Going back again!

Lovely hotel with helpful and nice staff”
It's our 5th time in Phuket. Since we are not partying people we purposedly avoid Patong Beach. This hotel is located in between Karon and Kata, off the main road along the beach but although not secluded. We stayed at the 4th floor (there's a lift in the hotel). The room was very nice: large windows, 2 big single beds (we requested for 1 queen size bed, so they pushed to 2 beds together to make it one, not really confortable when you lay down right in the gap). The bathroom is very neat and new, hot water worked perfectly. The staff changed the towels everyday. There's also a very small pool but nicely decorated. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. Nevertheless, 2 weak points: - the wifi signal is very weak, you've gotta stay at the lobby so to use internet. No wifi in the romms. - breakfast is a bit tasteless. it's almost the same menu everyday (crambled egg, sausages, salad, cornflakes, some cut fruits). We expected a mix of international and thai food such as porridge, ... as taste of Thailand. Overall we would recommend The BluEco hotel.

Great new hotel, undeveloped surroundings”
we moved to this hotel from a pretty good one on patong beach and were pleasantly surprised - blueco hotel is extremely new, has top-of-the-line furniture and equipment in rooms, good breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff - all that at very attractive promotional rates too. 15 mins walking to kata beach, 20 mins to karon - location is pretty good, i'd say.

New, clean hotel with friendly staff”
We transferred to the BluEco after arriving at our booked accomodation (karon studio) to find that it was not what we expected. The BluEco was a very pleasant change. We were greeted on arrival by the extremely friendly and helpful manager Tukta, who turned out to be a wonderful help for us during our stay. She advised us of where to get good cheap local food, gave us information about local markets etc and at one point even drove us to a restaurant herself to save us the taxi fare! The rooms are a good size with king beds, good sized bathroom and all of the details you expect in indecent hotel room, safe, robes, TV and multifunction DVD player, nice soaps etc. The location is also good, away from the hustle and bustle, but still only a 10 minute walk to Kata beach. There is a 7/11 just around the corner and a number of restaurants, cafes and shop also within walking distance. Overall we were extremely happy with the BluEco and felt that it was good value for money.

Cute hotel - brand new!”
BluEco is a very cute, brand new hotel. For a compact hotel the rooms are actually very generous, the view was of the building next door however, although this did not matter as we spent most of our time outdoors. It's a great location, away from all the craziness of Phuket yet walking distance to everything. There is parking available for scooters, but wouldn't recommend hiring one from the hotel, the one we got was old, tired and a little dangerous. The staff at the hotel were fabulous. Always obliging and encouraged our efforts of speaking Thai.

Value for money”
blueco hotel is a family run hotel business. do stay here if you want easy access to kata beach. it is about 10 minutes walk away and the hotel also provided beach towels free of charge. shops and restaurants are also walking distance from the hotel. you can also rent a bike with the hotel staff, and she will direct you to places of interest around phuket. not to mention, the breakfast was good. rooms have warm water for baths. however, there are cons as well. the bed was rather hard which we found it uncomfortable at the start. internet wi-fi is only accessible at the lobby area. also, as we stayed at the second floor, we had several mosquitoes in the room. once we even found a small lizard and a cockroach. do opt to stay at a higher level for better scenic as well!

Great location and excellent services”
There are 6 of us vacationing in Phuket and we could not chose a better location in Kata Beach area. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location was right next the many restaurants, convenient store and the local Thai market; which serves an amazing local dishes and desserts. The beach is approximately 5min walk. It was my second time staying at Blueco and can't wait to return again next year.

Excellent hotel, great staff, furnishings and food”
we were transferred to this hotel after asia guesthouse mucked up our booking! this was a benefit to us as this hotel was far superior to the one we booked. the staff are amazing. the owner is a lovely lady who couldnt do enough to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. her staff are great too, you can tell she treats them well as you almost feel like you are part of the family. nothing is a chore at this hotel. the hotel itself is only a year old, and its in great condition. everything is so clean! we stayed at a 5* hotel in bangkok, and the rooms although not as grand as this, were definitely not far off being on par. the breakfast is the best we had in thailand, its home cooked by the hotel owner which really comes across as its so fresh. sausages, egg, toast, homemade cakes, fresh fruit also a salad/noodle selection too. tea coffee juice and cereal were also on offer. free wifi access and free computer internet use. the hotel is 10min from kata beach and about 15min from karon beach. its very close to restaurants and bars. the hotel is best for couples, although the hotel is fine for kids...kata beach is a bit more nightlifey...i would stay in karon beach if i had a family! great hotel and i would give it 10/10 on all counts. we travelled around thailand a lot and stayed in some dives for the same money. definitely great value this hotel if you want to stay in kata beach.

Good value for a 3* hotel and good location.”
New hotel opened @ the very end of 2010. Rooms were modern and rather spacious. The room I stayed was really spacious and kept clean at all times as was the rest of the hotel. Room had also a balcony with sea view. From the last floor you can have partial sea view. Air-condition was working well. Nice but rather small pool. The pool is located on the ground floor in-between two buildings so don’t expect sunlight at the pool. Hotel is located close to Kata and Karon beaches. Ten minute walk to the Kata beach. Breakfast was reasonable. No wifi in the rooms. The wifi signal was very weak, you have to stay @ the lobby to use the internet. Hotel provides free computer and internet access @ the hotel lobby. Hotel is run by a family and the staff was very helpful and friendly. All in all a very pleasant stay and I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

blueco hotel is one i will return to. it's a short walk to the beach so you're not so saturated w/ the often red light district feel of the main beach area. free hi speed wifi, huge rooms, & the staff is so friendly & helpful. also, it's across from an interesting & tasty local outdoor market!

our stay at the blueco was great! the staff and ownership are friendly and willing to help. the hotel is a short walk to kata and karon beaches and the shops and foods choice is varied but a little pricey. all in all we had a nice, relaxing week.

Nice hotel in a quiet enough area.”
blueco is a family run hotel so you'll pretty much get to recognise all of the staff in a day or two. the language barrier could be a bit much at times, as the staff's english wasn't always up to scratch. the area is quite quiet, you have to walk a couple of mins into the center for any signs of life. its within 10 mins walk of kata beach, which for me was over-hyped. no facilities at all, one toilet you had to pay for (who brings a wallet in their swimmers??) though thats to be expected in thailand. our stay was marred by our bags being broken into, not sure if it was at the hotel or the trip towards it, but just be aware to lock away your valuables. breakfast isn't a choice, so be prepared for anything in the morning! all in all a nice hotel, though the area is too quiet for young adults.

Absolutely fantastic”
We stayed all together 7 nights and enjoyed every one of them. The room was big and beautyful, cleaned every day properly. Balcony was quite small, but comfortable. Everything worked just fine, there was free internet in the room. Breakfast was good and changed a little every day. The hoitel had a pool, which was also nice and clean. You could use their towels also for the beach. We stayed there together with our 4-year old child and it was perfect. It is ca 10 min away from beach, but the road was short enough for our son to walk, for a grown-up it should be no problem. There are also several restaurants and masssage places very nearby. Location is good, very quiet at night, but same time within walking distance from busy part of Kata. What we loved the most in the hotel, was staff! They realy made every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They offered to keep some of ous staff during 4 days, we went to Phi Phi meanwhile for free. They offered to drive my husband aroung the town at 1 at night to find an open farmacy, to buy medicine for our son. They also took us to doctor next day and one of the personal members lended his car to us just like that to come back. Everything, we needed, they did as soon as we asked for it and they always did more then asked. Staff was always friendly and helpful. So, long story short, the hotel is a great value and even more!

Excellent service w great hospitality & location”
BluEco is located at a very good location where 7-11 and food is very accessible, just a stone throw away. They have excellent service and always go an extra mile. Seeing that my gf was sick, they actually called us up to ask for the symptoms and went to the pharmacy to get medication for us. Going to BluEco was like returning back home, full of warmth. They never fail to greet us with a smile. We were upgraded instantly and aircon was fix when requested. Breakfast was simple and bed was alittle hard.

New, clean, friendly hotel! ”
the hotel was very nice and comfortable and clean! being new, you felt as if they had just opened their doors for you only! the breakfast buffet was great and our room had a very nice view from the balcony, of the small road and the ocean in the distance. the hotel was within 5 minutes walk of the beach and twice a week a very nice market happened, basically next door with great food for very cheap. the hotel was great and we would certainly book here again! you can book any sightseeing at the elephant trekking place down the street and the little strip is quiet with good food and a mini mart for any additional needs. you are also about a 7-10 minute walk from the main strip where you can find all the shopping you need, starbucks, and some great restaurants. we loved kata and this hotel. the staff is very friendly as well!

Nice new hotel with potential”
stayed in blueco for 4 nights. lovely, personal staff with this smaller, brand new hotel. the manager even drove us to a temple we wanted to visit. just small things which don't come with a larger hotel/resort. location wise: only a few minutes walk from the begin of kata beach. this street is about 10-min walk. all with all nice, smaller hotel with brand new rooms, but still with things to work on ofcourse (e.g. breakfast size etc). tip: really next to the hotel is a field where 2 times a week (tuesdays and thursdays) a (local) market is build up. it's actually quite big, with all kinds of fruits, vegetables, fresh cooking etc. great to see and taste!

great little economy hotel with lovely staff”
great location if you want to be closer to the locals and a little away from the touristy lights in kata. awesome cheap food right around the corner and a short walk to the beach and touristy areas. the staff was super sweet and the breakfast was good (i was up at 11:30 pm and they were preparing the croissants from scratch). ask for local food tips and a tour of phuket by taxi. don't expect a resort stay. i loved my stay there. clean rooms, inexpensive and superb staff sums it up.
