In an effort to properly maintain our facilities to highest possible standards, we will undertake some necessary building- and room upgrade works from May 1st, to June 30th, 2026 inclusive. Whilst the hotel and restaurant remain fully operational, there will be some scaffolding and hoarding present at different times & in different sections of the hotel during that period. Also, there will be some occasional ambient noise linked to various respective repair works during the daytime (from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM) as well. “Overall a very pleasant stay”
The hotel looks older and smaller then I expected. The room was overall clean, except that the towels looked a bit grey. The pool is quite small, but we preferred staying at the beach anyway. The gym is also quite small with rusty dumbbells. It was, however, a very nice stay. We stayed here for my birthday. I was impressed that the hotel staff knew it and said happy birthday to me! The staff were all very polite and helpful. I like that the hotel is very close to kata beach with direct beach access. There were a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, which made our stay pleasant.

“Perfect”
This hotel is in the perfect location, the staff is very friendly, the rooms are comfortable and the cleaning ladies jump on your room the minute you go to breakfast. When you come back, it's a clean room for the rest of your day. The breakfast is honestly the way to do it - order from a menu. And, everything we ordered throughout the week was perfect.

“The hotel has excellent service and a great location.”
This hotel is amazing. **Location is great**, right on Kata Beach—just a few steps to the sea. Even though the public beach is a bit crowded, the hotel is very peaceful and private. **Stunning views** from every corner, whether you sit in your room or the cafe, it's a delight. **The staff is incredibly nice.** Great service, they take care of you like family, very warm. The downside is **the tissue paper is a bit thin.** The prices are a little high because it's on the beach and it's high season, but overall it's very worth it!

“Wedding Stay”
I and my wife booked a 2-night stay at the Boathouse in Sept 2024. I was in contact with the Siriporn and her staff went above and beyond. I was able to coordinate with the Siriporn via Email to have my room decorated and a special bouquet was ordered that was sent to our room after I and my wife were married in Ko Bon Island. During our stay we could not enjoy the dinning room but we had our meals right by the infinity pool which was still amazing. We got to meet the chef hanging by the bar area, the chef also sent a wedding gift to our room without us even knowing, congratulating us on our wedding with fruits and chocolates. We had such an amazing short 2 day stay at the boat house. The staff is amazing and will go above and beyond for you. On my next visit to Thailand, I and my wife will for sure stay at The Boathouse again. Don't hesitate to book your stay!
