Surprisingly beautiful Hostel!”
A great place to be in Malacca! 1. Great location. Very near Jonker Street and most must-see places in Malacca. 2. Clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms are way better than the pictures online. We were really surprised! 3. Chill common room. A cozy nook to hang-out and meet new friends. 4. Kitchen equipped with water heater and water filter (no need to buy bottled water 😎) 5. Hot and cold showers; soap and shampoo provided. 6. Hair dryer and iron (for clothes) available in common room. 7. Most of all, friendly and helpful staff! 😊 Things to remember: 1. Check the AC socket for Malacca, they use the 3 pronged type. 2. Use UBER. Way cheaper than taking a taxi. 3. Walk around the area, every corner will surprise you. 4. Actual rooms are way better in photos 📸

Great Value for Money!”
We stayed on a room with 3 bunk beds for up to 7 people. The room is just a simple room with aircond and bed. There's some space in the middle that you can use to play or sit together with your friends. The shared bathroom is clean with all the soap and shampoo provided. Overall, great value!

Beautiful Hostel”
- The receptionist girl was very friendly, she helped me with a lot of things. - The thickest and warmest blanket in my trip, compared to the often thin blankets provided in mix dorms of other hostels. Besides, there are only 6 beds in a room, I'd prefer less people. - They keep some space for decoration, the corridor is very creative and beautiful. It made me feel like I was in a house, not a crowded hostel full of rooms and people. - Just a few meters to Jonker Walk, the price is reasonable for this convenient location, the price may go up in high season but I would recommend them anyway. - Need additional electrical sockets in dorm rooms.

Good for Tight Budget and nearby Melaka Old Town”
the owner so helpful since we arrived at midnight in Melaka. set the pin for us. i thought the toilet and bathroom were only one! I was wanted to give less star review, but then I found another 2 bathroom and 1 toilet nearby kitchen. Those are clean as well . location is perfect. walking distance to Jonker and Stadthuys. But, I don't know why where we arrived or even stay there for two nights the room was so hot. even we turned on AC (plus fan even!) sTill hot! Melaka is very hot at that time, but when you arrived at your room and felt hoT, we were done. 😂 Staff speaks good English, a nice girl. but overall, it was okay. the AC will work after some time. it's nice to stay there, tho.

Clean and Lovely Hostel”
In overall I was quite satisfied throughout my staying experience there. The cleanliness of the room as well as the bathrooms were excellent. But it will be better if the hostel could provide lockers for the customers especially for those who stay in the dorm room. The location is away from the town center which requires approximately 10 minutes of walking from Jonker Street. Another shortcoming is that the signage of the hostel is not very visible since it is too small.

Nice place”
Its a 10 min walk to Jonker Street and 3 minutes to the best Satay in Malaysia! By comparison to other hostels this could be construed as not so central but 10mins didn't bother me. The common area is too hot for me and it needs and a fridge and bins for the rooms, but others than this, the room is cool, spacious and clean and the showers are good. The staff are friendly but don't expect any tourist information from them as opposed to the owner who was v helpful when I had not booked but needed to stay an extra night. I'd recommend the place!

Overall is Good ”
Overall consider good. The only thing is, I booked Quadruple (4 beds) but when check in the time I was told tat my room is Triple instead of Quadruple. End up they add 1 bed to my room. The room is too small to fit in the extra bed as it blocked the door from go in and out. I'm not sure why got such mistake, hope it will improve and avoid this in future. Another problem is, the room given is just behind the reception. Therefore, it is a bit noisy. Hope the hotel staff can advise the hotel guests to lower the voice especially already in the midnight. The Famous satay celup Ban Lee Heang is same row with walking distance approximately 3-5mins from hotel. Walking distance to Jonker Street is around 10-15mins. Enjoy your stay !

Squeaking bed!!! ”
My husband and I stayed a couple of days at The Bunk by Olive and our experience was bad! First of all, the bunk bed was squeaking all night long! It was awful and we both slept very badly! Apart from that, the room was very noisy, we stayed at dorm B which is right in front of a busy avenue. We missed basic stuff such as: a small bin in the room, hangers in the room and in the toilet, , mirror and individual lights and power point. Regarding the location, it is walking distance from the main activities in town – about 15-20 minutes walking – but the way is not so walking friendly! The cleanliness was good.

Exceptional”
We were a group of 7 people and we had an entire room for ourselves. The environment is super clean and we like the little garden corner so much! It is also very near to the Ban Lee Hiang Satay Celup, however slightly further away from the Jonker Street, walking distance about 10 mins. The toilet is clean and equipped with shower and hair shampoo. The only disadvantage is the traffic noise as the room we gotten was facing the main road, may be better if you get those away from main road. Overall we like it very much!

Best hostel in Melaka”
I really did enjoy my stay here. The hostel is quite new, thus, the facilities are clean and working without any problems. Also, the staff is friendly. I stayed at another hostel in Melaka for the same price which was so much worse - you should definitely go with this one!

One of the best hostel accommodation near Jonker Street.”
Stayed 2 nights in a 7-bed, 6-bed dorm rooms and triple beds room for our large group. Super clean rooms and shared bathrooms. Nicely decorated common area for relaxing. Excellent complimentary wi-fi. Within walking distance to Jonker street, Xin Tian Di food court and eateries. The only negative point is only 4 shared bathrooms available but not a big problem for us. Highly recommended and affordable accommodation in Melaka.

+ staffs are all so nice :) they recommended some places kindly + bed and room were clean + there was a hanger for clothes in the room so I could dry my clothes easily - electric outlet were only 3or 4 for 6people and they were next to the door, so every roommates felt uncomfortable

- less than 10 min walk to Jonker Road - very quiet hostel - did not see any other guests while there and was the only person in 6 bed dorm room (whole room to self) - no 24 hour staff on duty - basic rooms with old bunks. Dirty bathrooms shared amongst all rooms - NO LOCKERS - which is negative thing for me - good wifi

Super cool hostel”
All the staff are helpful, especially Whisnu. The place is very clean, all parts Living room is very cute 1 km away from Bangunan Merah, but close to Jonker street. Definitely will come back again One minus, they don't have locker but they are still making improvement.

High Value for money”
The room is simple and clean. Have to pack your own toiletries, can get towel from the counter, can boil water in the kitchen to fill up your bottle. The hair-dryer is a bit spoiled and could only spurt cold air, hope that they will change it soon.

Clean and nice interior,they also allow us to have the aircond remote so we can control temperature ourselves. What lack is locker in dorm room as the room has no key. Location is good,near to jonker walk and 20 mins walk to Flora De Lamar Museum. Recommended.

Strategic Location Budget Hostel”
The location is in Ong Kim Wee road and it next to electrical supplies store called Maxis, there is a small door it lead me to the hostel. The room quite big , very cheap and just 20-25 mins walk to jonker street, around the hostel, staff only stay from 10 am-to 9PM , so when i check out i just leave, I like the amount of toilet they have , its clean but no breakfast here, so close to Malaka Sentral, so its good.
