Good location, friendly staff
There are lots of good and affordable restaurants nearby ( Davie Street ). To the waterfront it's only 20 minutes on foot. What did I like about my room? The Nespresso machine!

It's like living in a lively dormitory , I would love it if I am a backpacker. .
The location is great for going to everywhere of Vancouver, and the staffs are very kind to help you. However, the pictures of Burrard Hotel on Agoda are salon photos processed by PhotoShop, so you cannot discover it is a renovated old hotel before you arrive. My room is very spacious with two large beds and a large wardrobe. But the bathroom has a very small sink, shallow shower tray, and shower water is small. Because it is summer, so the hotel closed all heating. My wife almost suffers a cold because of a cold cloudy weather at the first day. Since there has no central control switch, you must manually turn off all the lights one by one before sleep. Although the hotel is on the corner of two streets, but my room at second story has only a big window open to the courtyard which is full of music and activities. So I cannot draw the curtains at any time of the all day long. If you care the location, Burrard Hotel is a good choice of downtown Vancouver. However, the price of Burrard's room cannot match the equipment.

Perfect Fit
The Burrard is a fantastic mix of style and budget friendly boutique hotel. They have a straight-forward well styled room that fit my girlfriend, snowboards, and clothes just fine. King Bed was comfortable, TV had plenty of movies, Nespresso topped it all off nicely. There is plenty of bars, cafes, shopping, etc within walking distance.

Travel back in time
Location, vibe, and patio
This hotel felt like I was transported back in time a few decades and had a real hipster sort of vibe (which was nice). The rooms are not lavish, but they work. The bathroom was a little small, but the bed was comfortable. Most importantly, is that it is located within walking distance from most downtown things in Vancouver. It't not a huge city, so you can walk to many places, but I thought this was a nice spot. A 10-15 minute walk to Stanley Park and a few minutes to Robson Square. I'd stay there again.

Great location in the heart of Vancouver
location, friendly staff, fun theme
Great little hotel in the centre of Vancouver. Very easy to go all around downtown from there (it is possible to walk to most places and there is a lot of public transportation to go to further places). Nice courtyard with lots of trees. The hotel embraces its 1960 decor as a theme and made a good use of a somewhat outdated setting. Nice friendly staff. And good value for the price, so definitively an hotel i will recommand in Vancouver.
