I have stayed here over 10 times. Although the dwellings have aged. The overall experience has dropped a notch I hoped the price might have too to balance that. But not.. where a 10 out off 10 was the norm.... 7 out of 10 is where it is now.

Tree House”
We had an excellent 3 nights at the treehouse. We managed to spot platypus from the balcony, but sadly didn't see a cassowary. We shared our balcony with the possums each evening and spotted birds during the day. A large eel was spotted when we fed the turtles. Spent a day visiting the local waterfalls and another day pottering around Yungaburra and Lake Tinaroo. Unfortunately the boat wasn't running on Lake Barrine, because of Covid. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well equipped.

Very disappointing ”
While the location was very picturesque unfortunately the maintenance of the villa we stayed in was less than satisfactory. There were missing blinds/curtains, broken drawers, unclean facilities (eg bbq, mould in the bathroom)insufficient power and water supplies. For the daily rate we paid upfront this is quite unacceptable. We have tried to contact the owner to provide this feedback and requested a partial refund for some of these inconveniences and we have not even received a response.

Perfect place in the rainforest”
This place exceeded my expectations. I loved that I didn't have to lug everything with me. It had all the little things in the kitchen, bath, laundry that made it just like home. Even had paper towels, serviettes, tea, umbrellas, firewood, etc. My daughter loved seeing/feeding all the wildlife and even had a bird eat out of her hands everyday. The surrounds were beautiful and just what my family needed. We didn't want to leave and we made a family decision to come back again soon.
