So Many Issues”
First thing is that they have a problem with their WIFI. Second in the room where we are staying, there is a very noisy drop of water near our window. I think it is coming from the second floor's AC. I was having a hard time sleeping. Third, the TV remote was not functioning and even the replacement they give was not working.
Ok budget hotel”
Dirty bathroom and room floor. There was still some drain hair in the shower. Shower floor wasn’t scrubbed. There were also some hair on the room floor. Windows cannot be opened in case of fire. Turning on the TV was a challenge— you need to flick a switch below and at the back of the TV then the remote— it was soooooo confusing. NO ELEVATOR. Hallway towards the rooms were dirty. No keycard. Old fashion door locks. Good thing was the security guard and receptionist were courteous.
Stayed for a night. Loved the common space. WiFi in the lobby was surprisingly good! The room was exceptionally cosy, quiet and comfortable thanks to an aircon that doesn't sound like a plane taking off. However, probably because we were on the ground floor, we had to deal with little centipedes and millipedes crawling up from the drain whenever we turned the shower on – no big deal, just catch and bin them. There wasn't much food about the area during the evening though, unless you're willing to walk a fair bit. We would love to return if we're ever transiting through Cebu.
Great location, clean and comfy, but hope they find a way to add wifi/router extensions or etc so all rooms have access to their net especially for working travellers who expect wifi access and not need to stay at the lobby :)
Richard G. from Philippines”
The place is very clean. Staff is so friendly. Close to my home and Ayala. Price is so affordable. Good place to stay but Instant couple is not allowed. Hazel, Merwin, Daniel, Roselyn, Neliza sorry guys if I can't mention you all. Thank you for my amazing stay in Cebu.
I don’t recommend this hotel. They don’t have complimentary bottled water in the room, you have to go downstairs to get one, when i asked for mug for my coffee, they gave me styro cup but you have to pay pa. Internet connection is so slow. And the worst, they don’t have pressing services, they don’t have flat iron. Very poor service. I’m not coming back.
Safe and great location ”
My second stay and I will definitely stay here again. It is safe and easily accessible especially if you have to be near or around Cebu Business District. The employees assist and go the extra mile to help their guests.
Thank you so much Marlyn :) We appreciate the feedback. It's always helpful for us to hear from our guests after their stay.
Stayed for 5 days monday-friday.. No problem of the 1st 4 nights but on the last night (Friday) some guests were probably drinking outside the hotel lobby.. They were talking loudly with loud music on until 5am... My room was near the lobby so u can only imagine the noise they were causing...
could have given higher rating on cleanliness but.....”
The location was great. Very near ayala and very accessible. The price is good, small room but it has everything you need. The room looks very clean (i'm satisfied) until small creatures came out (ants and small cockroaches).
good location and a nice Staff”
good location clean basic , great staff , my stay was OK I had very loud people next door to me , the Lady on the front desk quickly and with a great caring concerned attitude moved me to another room immediately , good comfortable bed, excellent aircon, clean modern rooms, walking distance to Ayala about 20 minutes or two minute taxi ride , location of Hotel is nice and quiet off the main roads
The building itself looks ordinary, however the fact that it only has two floors saved me from feeling dizzy - I usually get that feeling after using an elevator several times in a day which was why I didn't mind another fact that they don't have one. The facilities in the room were all well functioning: the bed and the pillows were good, all the lights were working, the shower can be regulated from cold to hot, the television was cabled, and they had a really high speed wifi - which I enjoyed the most aside from the television 😜. The staffs were quite friendly and really approachable. It didn't take them too long to attend to my requests. I somehow felt secure when I left my stuffs with them while I was out waiting for the time for check-in. One thing, though, is that the chapel within the building doesn't function as such anymore. Another thing is that the location isn't really nice, however it is near the street where vehicles are more accessible. Other than that everything was really good! I saved more after staying there for 3 days than I could probably have in other hotels in the city, which is why I'd most likely recommend this hotel to my friends if they want to go to Cebu.
Good Location ... near to Malls ”
The hotel is like an business suites... Very compact not much to do in the hotel. The Location is good .. 10 minutes drive and you can reach Ayala movie. We stayed for an night so cant comment much on the stay. It was good for the price paid.
Cebuanos are friendly ”
For an overnight stay, for a group of three, the room was very comfortable and with in the budget. Why friendly? The front desk was very accommodating to our request for an early check in. We were very tired from our long land trip from the city of smiles, Bacolod City and the reception area gave us a family room ahead of the required 2pm check in time. The bell boy and guard were also very helpful with the transportation issues like public jeep and taxis for our destination in cebu city The place though was difficult to find despite our maps and waze apps. The taxi had to turn around a couple of streets to find the hotel. But it was a good experience ...food was great and affordable, a chapel was available for our spiritual needs and the room was spacious for the three of us.... Thanks you center suites for a wonderful overnight stay
Very accommodating, comfortable and clean”
Our short stay here was great. After our ferry was cancelled by OceanJet we didn't end up arriving at the hotel until 4am. The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful and understanding. Our room was still available for us and she even offered if we needed a late check out (we declined as we had a flight to get to). She also advised us of the road works and consequent traffic getting to the airport which avoided us being late getting a taxi. The room was very comfortable. Aircon, hot water, cozy bed and clean! My only negative comment would be that the walls were quite thin and I could here the neighbours alarm go off at 6am and then their TV. But this didn't both us at all, just an observation. Hotel is is great location up town and easy walking distance to the Ayala Centre (huge shopping mall with everything- even a health food store!) We will stay again.
Clean rooms, new and accommodating staffs”
Check-in time for that day was 2pm, we arrived around 6am to go to Oslob. The staffs allowed us to leave our baggages and make use of drinking water and comfort room. They also arranged taxi to bring us to Ceres terminal bus. :). Staffs are attentive and easily assist our requests. The place is also walking distance to malls and jeeps. Very clean!
Gives you more than your money's worth!”
I had a 6-day booking at this hotel through Agoda. Due to an immediately call of duty, my vacay has been cut to 5 days. Upon notification of my early check-out, the front-desk personnel, a charming lady named Nova, asked if I would like to avail of the remaining day another time. Who was I to refuse such a kind offer. She called on her supervisor, the amiable Joy, who gave me her contact number so I could inform her of the day I'm supposed to go back to the hotel. I don't get that kind of offer everyday, especially for postpaid bookings. This kind of consideration is very refreshing. The Center Suites is a best find for solo travelers, or even for not so solo travelers. At 8Php, PUJ's along Escario St. will take you to Ayala Center/Business Park. That's where you can find coffee shops, restaurants and other business establishments. If you're up for a gastronomic and delectable international lunch & dinner buffet at 550PhP, Cebu International Parklane Hotel (Manuel's Restaurant) is only a couple of blocks away. But if you're on a tight budget, there's an eatery just a few steps away from the hotel, where breakfast is served at 25Php. Cab fare from the hotel to Ayala is at 60PhP and 80Php to SM Cebu.
Nice hotel at an affordable price :)”
The staff are accomodating and friendly. When I entered the room, the tv was already on as well as the aircon. I enjoyed watching tv since I was alone and I was glad that they have a cable connection. The wifi was also fast too! Another good thing about the hotel is its location. It's just walking distance to Ayala Center Cebu and one jeepney ride to SM City. I will definitely stay in this hotel again whenever I have travel plans in Cebu. :)
Safe, convenient and accessible
NO WIFI in our rooms (2nd floor) during our stay. You have to go to the lobby (with limited seating) to get decent wifi connection. The rooms are not sound proof. We can actually hear the other rooms TV up until the wee hours of the morning which makes it a bit hard to sleep.
Luxury on a reasonable price”
Clean. Room smells good. Nice room lighting. Very clean comfort room, but I have to say that you have to change your shower head, water pressure is very strong for the body, no proper handle of turning on/off of the shower. But overall, I had a good stay. Thank you! 😊
