As good as before”
My second time staying at this hotel, the room was still new and clean. Staff were friendly. Location was perfect to explore the Old quarter.
Great Location and Services”
we had been stayed in Hanoi many times in the past year. this hotel works for your money with very friendly staffs. great location i. the old town. convinient and center of all best hanoi food. thanks the Chi
Great value for a well located hotel”
The hotel is well equipped and comfortable for business travel, yet very well located if you want to go for a tourist stroll at night. Stone's throw away from the cathedral, restaurants and souvenir shops. It's hard to miss this hotel for its offerings at such a nice price point. Will definitely stay again.
Great gem inside Hanoi old quarter”
We are a group of 8 people and stayed here for a night. This hotel is small but the staff is super friendly! Great service during check in and when we ask for help to book airport shuttle or to do foreign exchange. The breakfast at the hotel has so much food to choose from, both the buffet style and on the menu a lar carte vietnamese food. Definitely recommended to everyone!
Lovely hotel in the old quarter ”
Pros: good bed, nice sized room, welcoming staff, good wifi access. Nice rooftop. Great location walking distance to the lake Cons: standard room has a dummy window as I am claustrophobic I struggled and thus upgraded to a superior room which was wonderful. We would definitely come back to this hotel
There are a few positives and negatives. Positives include a) conveniently located, near the Cathedral, good food, and shopping. b) personal and attentive services to make your stay as comfortable possible. c) room is clean and well maintained. Less than positives include a) some rooms are small, no windows and too near neighbouring building. b) breakfast spread is limited. c) limited English TV channels compared to Vietnamese channels.
Perfect location with friendly staffs.”
I was staying at The Chi Hotel in Hanoi during business/family visit. The room is clean and prep'ed perfectly before my arrival. Miss Thu from Reception is very helpful to get me thru the check-in (and check-out) process quick and smooth with info that I really need to go around the city. I would definitely go back for the next visit.
Elegant hotel in nice part of town ”
Rooms were big for a Hanoi hotel quality of furnishings were nice. My room (one grade up from lowest grade had both a bathtub and a shower and a window though no view. Restaurant in the hotel was busy and popular and convenient one night when it rained. Would def consider staying here again. I come to Hanoi often.
Lovely clean well appointed hotel in a very central location - highly recommended
Highly recommended ”
We love this hotel! Location is great! Deco for the whole hotel is therapeutic. Oriental and authentic ! There are shops besides and opp Of us. Super convenient . The Chinese restaurant in the hotel has excellent tim sum and Chinese cuisine. The night decorated sky bar has creative cocktails and magnificent view . We will definitely come back again.
Highly recommended! ”
Beautiful hotel, clean comfortable stylish rooms, charming staff who were always friendly and welcoming. We stayed on 3 separate occasions in-between trips, in superior and standard rooms and were never particularly bothered by the noise. Be sure to check out the roof top bar, great cocktails, views and an expertly curated soundtrack!
You get what you paid for”
Overall, the hotel is satisfactory, not luxury but it was a comfortable stay. Staffs are friendly especially Ms Thu that was very helpful recommending nearby popular tourism spots and local delicacies.
Friendly staff, great cleaniless”
Located 1 minute walk to St Joseph Cathedral, or 5-8 minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake, or 10-15 minutes walk to Old Quarter. Clean and comfy bed. Spacious bathroom. On-going construction opposite the hotel, noise expected. We were offered free laundry service by the Hotel for this. Staff were friendly and polite. Overall experience was great!
Great hotel, Great staff!”
The hotel has a very good location in the centre of Ha Noi. The hotel was very new and everything within the hotel and our room was very satisfying. It's not a lot of facilities, they have a restaurant in the basement. The breakfast was a bit disapointed. They had options to buy With and without and it cost quite alot more for the breakfast. The restaurant looked very Nice on the photo's so we decided to include the breakfast. However the breakfast is not served in the restaurant and wasnt really that special. At arrival, my luggage was delayed by the airplane Company. The staff at the hotel were really amazing and helped me out alot With phone Calls, contant and assistance. Special thanks to receptionist "Thu"
A Pleasant Homecoming”
I grew up in Hanoi between 1993-1998. I was ten when I left, and I had not been back since this last trip. This "20 year" reunion trip was planned, as a solo traveller, at age 29. I wanted to be comfortable on my own and on my first night and so decided to book a room instead of rough it out. I was pleasantly surprised by The Chi Boutique Hotel's location. It's right near some tourist spots and main streets. Although my room didn't have much of a view, it was a good hotel to spend my first night. I received a free breakfast voucher because there was some construction going on at the time of my visit. This and the kindness of the staff definitely added to my stay. I'd rate the breakfast a 3/5 star. As a lover of the local cuisine, I'd suggest to make breakfast optional. I would return again with friends or with a partner. Shout out to Tom and Thu... and the person who checked me in on my first night (eve of Feb 7)! Thanks so much for making my return to Hanoi a memorable one.
Great location, room was very clean”
There was construction near the hotel so it's very noisy if you stay in standard room. The superior room is located on a different side so you would not hear anything. The hotel offered free breakfast (not included in my booking) to compensate, which was good. Breakfast was quite good, but I didn't eat much because there were some good restaurants close by, which of course are much better. There is a convenient store across the street. The staff were very nice. I would totally recommend this hotel.
Great hotel in a perfect location”
Well designed boutique hotel. Everything looked cool and thought through. The location next to the cathedral and lake was perfect, great spot to explore from. They have a newly opened rooftop bar that oozes style and the service was smooth. Highly recommended this hotel and I have stayed at 3 others In Hanoi while on my trip to Vietnam. This one wins hands down! It was also not the most expensive. The restaurant was busy at lunchtime with non guests which is a good sign, most hotel restaurants are always empty. The breakfast was a usual mix of international cuisine but being in Vietnam the Pho was always going to be the first choice. Choosing the Chi will not disappoint. I wish I had stayed here the first time I came to Hanoi and I wouldn’t have had to look any further
We stayed at 3 different hotels in Hanoi and this was the best, although the price is higher than most hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter, we still think its worth the price. Hotel rooms were very clean, new, modern, and big.
A very good hotel at a very good location”
I enjoyed my stay in this hotel very much, hotel is clean, room is spacious, everything in the room is new and the price of the hotel rooms are very affordable. Best thing about this hotel is that it is strategically located in the heart of Hanoi where the hustle and bustle of the tourist is. The dim sum restaurant below the hotel is one of the best I've ever eaten around the world though it is a bit pricey, it's still worthy of a try! Staffs are friendly and very helpful. If your budget is for a 3 -4 star hotel, this is the best option I believe!
