Good sized room and good breakfast”
The room was a good size with ensuite bathroom. The location whilst not central was good for getting into town. The breakfast was good with a nice set of options to try. The host was very helpful in explaining Bath what to do and see etc.
Very nice, comfortable and quiet hotel! Very suitable for families, well equipped kitchen”
We liked the hotel very much. In the near neighborhood a lot of small coffee shops, restaurants and fast food, but because of his location the hotel was very quiet. Very clean room, comfortable bad and sofa. The staff was friendly.
Family trip for London museums”
Very friendly welcome from the receptionist. Great location for exploring London. Easy walk to the science museum. Quiet surroundings. Relatively good value continental breakfast delivered to the room.
Well appointed single room. Took advantage of the pots and pans available on request to prepare food. Room was very clean, however there was a gummy mark on the carpet and a small stain on the linen. Some wood parts of the room are starting to look a bit worn. Finally, proper dealing is needed for the rooms on the top floor. On an evening with a breeze I could hear the wind whistling and the breeze coming through the closed window. Overall a lovely stay, very, very comfortable beds and a great night’s sleep!
Only letdown was wi-fi”
The hotel was alright, located in a good area. About 5-10mins walk from the tube station and area felt safe. A lot of Halal restaurants in the area. The lift could have been bigger but it was good enough that they even had a lift. Our room was located at the basement level so maybe that was the reason why our wi-fi connection wasn't strong and we had to keep on reconnecting. The room was large and the kichenette was a smart idea, very useful. But otherwise, everything else was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly whenever we had any enquiries.
Value for money in an expensive city”
First room had no lift access and bags had to be carried up two flights of stairs. No night porter and we had to do it ourselves. We then requested a room change and got one at no extra charge. Staff were very understanding and helped with luggage. Rest of stay was without incident. Room was well maintained. We were happy with our stay. I believe customers should be informed of such rooms before hand or should not be offered. First such experience on Agoda.
Good stay for a weekend shopping trip”
We stayed in Cleveland Hotel for a few nights to do some shopping in London. The hotel is located 5mins walk away from a few tube stations. So it has very good accessibility. Check-in Check-out process was very smooth. Great hotel to act as a base for London city activities.
Splendid hotell with large rooms ”
had 3 days in london, everything went super easy with check-in and the reception was very helpful and friendly. our room (2 beds 3 people) was large, high ceiling and had a kitchen(!) behind a door. very convenient if you don't want to eat out all the time or have breakky in the room. we used the fridge to cool the beers though.
Avoid this hotel ”
Since i arrived to this hotel I felt unwelcome! I met the rudest receptionist ever in my life . I asked if there's elevator. after this everything went crazy .. she asked me to sign the check in form .. I signed and I tried to see what I'm signing for. she replied just sign here! Anyway behind me there were a couple .. she skipped me and took their couple to their room. Later she came back to tell me that my room in the fourth floor. To reach the room you should cross the corridor then take the elevator to the 3rd floor then carry your bag down to the 2nd floor then cross the corridor again and take the stairs 2 floors up ! I did all this with my 20k bag without any assistance! And I reached tiny and dirty room. The following day she called at 10:45 to tell me check out after 15mins.I asked if its possible to extend 15mins,She reply if u extend am gonna charge you! I asked here for her name and she refused to give it to me . 12 mins walk through major road to reach Paddington station
No hot breakfast”
Quiet location and clean but breakfast was in a tray with limited choice and I had to go down 4 flights of stairs to get coffee. Very disappointed.
A nice place, but....”
Firstly, the staff were lovely. The building was clean and tidy and in a great location. It was also great value for money, but the heating didn't work in our room and it was freezing. They gave us a mobile heater, but it was so bright we couldn't sleep with it on. The fault was reported obviously, but not fixed. There was no light in the kitchenette. There was only one knife, no where to plug in the kettle or toaster and the shower was like warm and weak, just like a really bad cup of tea. I'd give it 6/10. If they fix the faults 9/10
Nice hotel at Bayswater near Queenways and Bayswater underground stations.”
It´s a nice hotel very near to restaurants & bars, mall etc. very quiet place and the room is clean, toilet is also clean. On the whole,I would recommend this hotel to others. Nice staff.
Overall above satisfactory.
Not much nearby, but not too far from 2 train stations”
The hotel itself was good. The staff was great. But there is not much nearby, but you only need to walk about 10 mins to find restaurants and pubs. The hotel was close to 2 train stations, Paddington and Bayswater, which was convenient. The room I stayed even had a microwave, some plates, and silverware which came handy when the hotel did not have a breakfast option.
I can't work out why this hotel is listed as 4 Stars”
Nice enough property, but barely makes it to a 4* property. Tiddy property that reminds me of a Ibis 3* or a Travelodge. Pros: Location convenient for tourists. Good wifi. Mini kitchen in room Cons: Rough location. Most rooms cannot be access with a lift. Basement rooms are awful: smell of moulds, can't open windows, dark and no phone signal. Furnishings are bland and corporate, no style whatsoever. Service is minimal to non existent. Cleaning staff seem overworked and exploited. Price target: I paid GBP107/night. Would not more than GBP150 per night, if more, choose an other property.
Great location, amiable staff, nice rooms”
Perfectly located near Kensington Gardens and Paddington, this modern, comfortable is staffed by very pleasant and helpful workers. Adored the incredible Halepi Greek restaurant around the corner. Loved the coffee machine in the lobby. Did not love the rickety wooden trundle bed which threatened to collapse at any second
Very good value ”
Good location , rooms larger than average, good internet, mini kitchen in room, reasonable prices via agoda. Things to watch out for: basement rooms have no phone signal. You may need to ask recover ion to switch in the heating they seem to switch if off every morning. I like this hotel ... Very good value, have been there on 3 visits already
Solid self catering option”
The first room I was put in was a basement room with some light but next to a generator with constant buzzing noise being irritating. I asked to move as the room had no phone reception and I was here on business so that was pretty poor. The moved me to the 5th floor which the lift didn't reach so an additional 3 flights of stairs was annoying, although the staff were great and moved the bags for me. The room was big by London standards and the kitchenette was handy if not particularly well stocked. In the middle of 3 tube stations so was easy to get around without being to noisy. Nothing much in the immediate area but not far from some restaurants and Hyde park. A solid choice, pretty good value for London.
London 24/26th November 2014”
During the couple of days/nights of our stay we found the hotel to be ideal for wandering around the city. It was clean and our room was well furnished for those wishing to cater for themselves. The staff were very obliging and helpful.
Affordable Hotel in London”
Room was quite large, with pantry to make our stay even better. Staff was attentive, we were allowed to make an early check-in. Hotel was 10 mins away by foot from 4 tube stations. Not very close, but not that far either. Located in a quiet surrounding, but the closest high street is 10 mins away
