Great stay in Taichung City”
The room was comfortable, wifi worked well, hot water in the shower/bathtub, aircon worked well, too. Blackout curtains kept the room quite dark, even during the middle of the day. Breakfast had a good selection of foods. Parking was available onsite in an underground basement (the car elevator was an interesting experience). Bicycles were available for use at no charge. I had no complaints about my stay. 10/10

Well worth the price!”
Located in the run-down city center, it is about a 10-15 minute walk from the main train station and bus stations. Is also a 10 to 15 minute walk from the famous Chungyou Department Store and the fashionable Yizhong Street night market and shopping district. Other local attractions are all reachable within a 20-minute or less taxi ride. This budget hotel looks very decently renovated with modern facilities and furniture. The beds and pillows are very comfortable as was the bathroom offerings. An added bonus was that the hotel provides free drinks and snack offerings right in the lobby. There is also limited underground parking. The provided breakfast was also limited but very decent in quality.

Nice hotel with breakfast at the city center”
I chose this hotel because it's at the city center, and has breakfast. There's are several similar hotels around but only this one provides nice buffet breakfast. Rooms clean, modern. Staff are friendly, although they don't speak English very much. I'd stay come and stay again.

Exceeded my expectation”
Everything was great for this hotel, from the room to breakfast. Room and toilet were exceptionally huge and very clean! The facilities provided was amazing even though I did not use them all. Very clean and breakfast was great. Just that it wasn't near any station so travelling in Taichung might be a hassle as we have to keep taking cabs. Overall I'm really happy with this hotel and it is the best I've stayed so far while I was in Taiwan! (other than the staff seems a little unfriendly)

Overall good”
The room had a bit of dirt on the floor when we went in. Overall it was clean. The hotel for its price is good. It includes parking and breakfast. Though the breakfast was pretty bad when we stayed here. It was pre-cooked and delivered to our rooms in place that was saran wrapped. We ate a couple bites and just didn't want to eat it. This is our 2nd time staying there and we will stay there again for the value.

The location is near Yizhong shangquan. However, you would need to take at least 10 mins to walk to the bus stops that will bring you to the other key locations. Room I stayed in was clean and very comfortable. The only downside was that the room had a very strong smoke smell even though it was a no smoking place.

Clean hotel and located well”
The room was so spacious and clean. I am a very picky person who concerns the hotel's cleaniness very much. I could tell that this hotel was clean. No noise could be heard during night time. Yet, you could still buy some local street food from a few blocks away at night. Local restaurants were all around the hotel. You could have a nice local breakfast easily if you want to skip hotel breakfast. Hence, it is a walkable distance to "The Second Market". I highly recommend those people who travel to Taichung stay in this hotel.

Friendly but a bit far from the central”
This is an old center in Taichung. The hotel facilities are good, but the parking lots are short. We were lucky to park in front of the hotel, but if you are driving, you may want to reserve a parking lot beforehand. The staffs are nice, and the breakfast is simple.

Decent hotel for short stay ”
Everything was quite well and priced reasonably. AC was good, toilet is bright and clean with good shampoo cum body wash. After washing my hair is smooth even without conditioner. Stayed two days and on the last day we explored the nearby shops (turned left and walk down the streets) you can find an old shop selling food that is suitable as breakfast and lunch. The mee is quite similar to lor mee in Singapore. It is served I a small bowl and you can also order some small dishes. Cheap and nice! The old Uncle who is believed to be the boss told us he has been selling for 60 years. Worth to try out!

Overall, the hotel is nice and clean. However, not too sure if i am allergic to the bed or there were bugs. I had small bites overnight. The front staff wasn’t friendly at all. Despite telling one of the staff that I had ‘bug’ bites on the second day, she gave a nasty look. On the third day, I had more bug bites. Went to the counter and told the same staff. She called her housekeeper and told him to come down. The housekeeper came and told me that, i may be allergic to their bed sheets. He was sure that the beds are clean with no bugs. I may come back to this hotel. But if the same issue occurs, I will request for a change of room immediately. The

Good hotel/nice location”
The hotel is nice with staff friendly but can’t speak and understand English well. Location is good like a 4min walk to bus stop in Sanmin Road for buses going to Chung Yo Dept. Store and Yikin Market. Breakfast has not alot of options but quite ok. If yu want value for money, this is a good hotel.
