One of the Best Hotels I Have Ever Stayed ”
I had a fantastic experience with Cyclo d'Angkor Boutique Hotel! I traveled with my family and there are a total of 5 of us. What makes this hotel so special is the staffs, they're all very friendly and attentive and everyone of them speaks perfect English. I was a bit worried about the communication with the hotel staffs before coming to Siem Reap but I was proven wrong. They can speak fluent English! They're very polite and friendly that they always check on us whenever they see us coming out from our room and looking for something. Not mentioning that they always greet the guests good morning and good evening. They also checked on us every time we came back from outside, ie they will ask us how's our day? How's our trip and how's our dinner, their service is just impeccable and perfect! I have never received such amazing service from other hotels! The hotel is very exquisite and it is well furnished with facilities including spa and swimming pool. It is also nicely decorated with traditional local art pieces which I personally adore much. The room is exactly like what is shown in their website, simple, clean, comfortable and cozy. They provide full set of toiletries including toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel, soap, shower cap, cotton buds and comb. They're really hardworking that they cleaned our room everyday. (You can hardly find hotel that clean your room on daily basis during your stay now, most of them only clean it after you check out from the room) Breakfast is included and I would say that I like their breakfast! Instead of a buffet spread of choices, the free breakfast is served on a-la-carte upon ordering. The portion is generous and it comes with tropical fruits. We can't be more satisfied with the breakfast here. In short, this is just a perfect place to stay and I wish all the other hotels can be as good as Cyclo d'Angkor, this is definitely one of the best hotel experience that I have ever had. If I were to visit Siem Reap again, I
Couldn't ask for more”
we had a very pleasant stay in cyclo d'angkor. The hotel is newly refurbished, traditionally decorated, chilled music playing in the background which created very authentic atmosphere. Room was very clean and comfortable. And the staff - they get 5 star rating! Very pleasant, and accommodated all our needs. We would definitely recommend the hotel to everyone visiting Angkor Wat as the hotel is located in the midway between the town center and the temples. The first day we cycled to the temples - hotel arranged the bikes, and it took us around 20min to cycle to Angkot Wat. On the second day we took a guide to show us around. since we didn't want to go to the touristy parts, the guide took us to the remote temples, which was an amazing experience! There is a also pool with sun loungers at the hotel which was perfect to relax after a day of exploring the temples. Tuc tuc was $2 to the town centre, approx 10min ride. If you are in siem reap for few days and not looking for 5* hotel, Cyclo d'angkor is all you need:)
Amazing boutique hotel in a beautiful ancient city”
Amazing boutique hotel in a beautiful ancient city ! Siem Reap is the most beautiful place during my 3 weeks holiday in Southeast Asia . Cyclo boutique hotel is also the best hotel where no where else can compare with their services and staffs .They are very charming, friendly, helpful and always pay great attention to every guests.Hotel lobby, corridor and bed room is nicely and impressively decorated. The hotel is located in between downtown and Angkor Wat temple provides very good atmosphere. It's very relaxing and unforgettable stay.Beautiful unique swimming pool can keep you cool and refreshing after a hot day from temple tour. If you are seeking for a wonderful boutique hotel with brilliant service in Siem Reap, than Cyclo'D Angkor Boutique Hotel is your best choice.
WOW WOW WOW!!! What a fantastic hotel. Beautiful decor. Clean modern rooms. Supber facilities, lovely swimming pool, good food at a reasonable prices, excellent buffet breakfast and best of all the staff. I have traveled extensively around world but never have I come across such happy, friendly and helpful staff in a hotel. Special mention to Mill, Chorvy & Marly who worked on reception, lovely people. The owners of this hotel can be extremely proud of their staff. The Cyclo D’Angkor Boutique Hotel is the best value for money hotel that I have ever stayed at and would recommend it to anyone staying in Siem Reap.
Classy and kind”
This was a great choice for us to stay in Siem Reap. The hotel staff are frankly magnificent. They can’t do enough to help you and no request is too much trouble. If you avoid the rooms which are on the ground floor by the entrance, the rooms in the new building are of a exceptionally high standard as are all the suites that we managed to stay in for an extra payment. There are a couple of small caveats. It is a little far out of town and there is a new container park night market right across the road which plays loud music until 1 AM every night. Fortunately the soundproofing is pretty good on the windows. Overall this hotel represents excellent value for money and I would highly recommend it. We will certainly stay here in future visits. Finally I would like to point out some exceptional staff members. One is Jasmine the girl on reception and also the operations manager Tea who is professional and easy to deal with. Thanks Cyclo
Immaculate service, the most adorable staff!!”
We stayed here for about 4 nights. Hotel has been erected only since October 2013, so less reviews due to being very new. The staff went above and beyond to help us, upon arrival we were greeted with a mocktail and refreshment towel which I guess could be usual. One of the other moments that really starked us and kept them at our hearts was when we arrived back one night from town, trying to sort out payment with our tuk tuk driver in the light rain when a couple of staff scurried out with some umbrellas to hold us under the rain, it was so adorable!!! They always greet us with warm smiles every time we returned back from a journey and asked us how our day went. They are literally always smiling and are so humble and kind! We booked them with the agoda discount so it was so worth the value! Free breakfast buffet had a good variety. Staff spoke good english and always tried to help us with transport bookings. The laundry service was superb! Ready the next day, all folded and packed in a plastic cover and stapled for us. Hotel was small enough to not feel intimidated by but interior design and decor was timelessly beautiful, it made us feel really refreshed, and of course clean. It was our little home in Siem Reap. Thanks for having us Cyclo, definitely would stay with you guys again :)
Fantastic little oasis of calm in Siem Reap”
We stayed at the Cyclo for 4 nights & I must admit it's probably the best small boutique hotel I've stayed in. The staff here are absolutely fantastic & that's what .makes this hotel special, I cannot praise them highly enough. Our room was good. There was free Wi-Fi & pool access. The hotel is about 20 mins walk from the town centre which we walked most evenings & then got a tuktuk back for $2. However it was nice staying in a quiet location away from the hustle & bustle of downtown. I would recommend.this to anyone going to Siem Reap & the cost won't break the bank
Wonderful staff, lovely hotel”
I cant say enough just how fantastic the hotel staff were. They were so friendly, kind, helpful and acomodated every request you had. The hotel reception and grounds were beautiful, decorated in lovely wall murals and sculptures. It had a lovely relaxing vibe. Our room was adequate, had everything we needed including aircon. The pool was lovely and cool after a long days sightseeing around the temples. Breakfast was very good, a varied choice to choose from, and thier lunch and dinner menus were delicious too, and they made the best cocktails we had in the area! We also made use of the spa, and the massages were great and very reasonably priced. Great location, short tuk tuk ride distances to the temples and to the tourist areas for nightlife. Would definatly stay here again. Top tips for sightseeing in Siem Reap-its incredibly hot and humid, drink copious amounts of water, take a fan, hat/or umbrella for shade, salt replacement suppliment, suncream and strong insect repellent. (And extra batteries or a charging pod for your cameras)
Best Hotel I've stayed in in Siem Reap”
I've stayed in quite a lot of Siem Reap hotels, and this one is by far the best I have stayed in. Firstly, the staff are excellent. Very helpful, charming and always happy to help wherever they can. They arranged a great Angkor Wat tour for my family with no fuss - less than 5 mins to go through some options, and it was all handled seamlessly. The location is great for Angkor Wat - it's so close that you can you're able to go see sunrise, then nip back for breakfast before carrying on. To town is a dollar or two in a tuk tuk - it's actually better to be slightly out of town as it can be very noisy in the more central hotels. Rooms are fantastic, especially if you can request the newer wing of the hotel - GREAT shower, and even small things like soft towels, a really nice fragrance in the room and an incredibly comfortable bed made the room excellent. The pool is lovely, if a little on the small side with maybe 5 or 6 loungers, but they were rarely fully occupied - there's also a nice poolside bar. The spa was good, and reasonably priced. All in all, it's hard to fault this hotel and i will be staying here from now on when i travel there. Yes there's some more luxurious hotels, and yes there are some cheaper ones that are decent enough to stay in; however, this place is just the right amount of luxury for a great price.
Perfect stay in clean and great hotel with good food and nice staff”
I recommend to stay at The Cyclo d'Angkor Boutique Hotel if you should ever go to Siem Reap. The place is located between the city center and Angkor Wat and is so good starting point for your activities.
Amazing staff and great boutique facility”
We had a great stay. The hotel is quaint offering the right amount of Cambodian features to not feel like you’re in a chain hotel. There are 2 locations in Siem Reap but we liked this one just fine. Ask for airport pick up, or anything else. The staff will be happy to help. They sent a Tuk Tuk for us at the airport. This was operated by Mr. Sarouth, we ended up using him for all our trips and tours. Cyclo d’Angkor is definitely a great deal for the monies paid.
Loved loved loved it”
Best boutique hotel we've been to so far in our south east Asia trip. Super friendly staff, thanks Thea!! Ask them anything and they'll be able to sort you out. Thea helped us organise tuktuks and prices as well as recommended us the most amazing restaurant in Siem Reap- not crazy overpriced but absolutely delicious. The pool was perfect temperature and the rooms perfectly spacious.
Nice Little Find”
Pros: Location is great, close to Angkor Temple complex, museum, with some shops and restaurants within walking distance. Quick bicycle or tuk tuk ride into downtown Siem Reap. (The markets/ restaurants and pubs are in about a walkable 4 block area once there) . But the staff is the main ‘Pro’ here - always friendly and attentive. ‘Rose’ at the front desk, the waitresses at breakfast, the booking manager, everyone. Breakfast was filling and is a set selection off a large menu. There are two small pools, one in front of the lobby and one on the roof of the adjoining “residence’ hotel. They have bicycles to check out ( not the best) and for rent from an outside company, which delivers them. I extended a day here, and wish I stayed longer.
Fantastic Hotel and staff so willing to please”
We had a junior suite which was huge room with a king bed, sitting area, two ac units and a bathroom with bath tub and a seperate shower. The decor was superb inside and outside the room. The breakfast was excellent and we had dinner at the hotel 3 nights which was good quality and price. Took a tuk tuk into town (10 minute ride and pay no more than 3 US dollars). The staff are all very nice and so friendly and eager to please. All in all I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will definitely stay again on another visit to Siem Reap
A bazillion stars!”
The Cyclo was amazing. The place was clean, well decorated without being overdone. The staff was polite, accommodating, and proactive without being pushy. The pools were lovely, my room was spotless and quiet. The food was delicious. We took the cooking class they offered and my mother, myself, and my two daughters (7 and 9) LOVED it. I have already referred a friend, and will definitely return when we go back to Siem Reap. A bazillion stars!
Extremely professional staff!”
My family felt so well taken care of by the staff at Cyclo d'Angkor. We were greeted throughout each day with smiles and bows and a sense that everyone wanted us to enjoy ourselves. The public space was visually pleasing and quite comfortable. I liked the location which was close to the Angkor complex and the hotel called tuk-tuks for us when we decided to go into town for dinner. We even had one of the hotel tuk-tuks insist on giving his cell number to a restaurant which was in a quiet area because he feared we would not be able to easily get back to the hotel. We had massages and booked tours through the hotel which were all great. I highly recommend Cyclo!
Best Staff Ever & Great Location”
My husband and I stayed here for two nights and it was fantastic! The staff are so incredible and friendly and make you feel very welcomed and comfortable as soon as you arrive. Power greeted us and was a super nice guy who made our stay memorable and fun! Our room was clean and comfortable, the food was pretty good at the restaurant, and the pool was refreshing and clean. We also liked that the location wasn't in the main touristy part of siem reap because it was calm and made it quicker to get to Angkor Wat. It only took 5 minutes to get to The Alley/Pub Street area from the hotel by tuk tuk. I would highly recommend staying here. Great value for the money!
Review of The Cyclo d'Angkor”
I have stayed in The Cyclo d'Angkor for 3 nights. The staff are very helpful and polite. It is not far from airport, pub street and Angkor Wat. My room is big and clean. It would be nicer if there is an alarm clock inside the room. The hotel breakfast is quite good, and wi fi signal of the hotel is strong. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel in Siem Reap.
Good location, great ambience, comfortable and warm hospitality ”
We received a warm welcome with refreshment and cold towels to freshen up. Staff are friendly and treat every guests as VIP. Room is value for money. The hotel food is very nice. We enjoyed our breakfast and food in the menu. I personally like the ambience of the hotel which is very 'Cambodia'. The location of this hotel is convenient as it is 30 minutes walk to Old Market and Pub Street, 20 minutes drive to airport and 30 minutes drive to Angkor Wat. There are many choices of restaurants nearby and mini market just 100m away. If we are going back to Siem Reap, we will definitely stay here again. Thumbs up!
Amazing stay - definitely hope to return”
If we knew this hotel was going to be so amazing we would totally have spent more time in Siem Reap! Beautiful decor, comfy beds, clean and big rooms (but the shower area is abit small), decent breakfast, and a nice location that's a 10min tuktuk ride to the town centre. It's also within walking distance to a good restaurant (Mie) and just next to a cute cookie shop (Angkor Cookies). What really left an impression was the staff - they were all so sincere and helpful. They offer free pickup from the airport and will also help to arrange day tours and intercity transport. All these for just under 35 USD a night. How is that possible?! Sure hope to be back!!
