Amazing hostel ”
Really enjoyed my stay in this very modern hostel. It’s very clean, staff are really friendly, really enjoyed the free yoga classes on the rooftop overlooking the trees and the sea every morning. Also really liked that the hostel provided a free taxi to a different beach each day, met some amazing people at this hostel. The breakfast each morning was really good too. It’s close to some diving schools and cheap restaurants which is perfect. The pool is also a nice nice spot to relax in. Really chilled hostel with very friendly atmosphere perfect for solo travellers.

Literally this is the best hostel I’ve been to since 6 weeks in Thailand. The staffs are amazing, the welcome you like family and the really make this place to a home for you. I‘m going to miss these people so much!! Also the Hostel is very clean. There are many activities (even if it’s low season), there is a free shuttle to a beach every day, BBQ, sunset tour... The breakfast is also very good. You can walk to many beaches and everything you need is only a few minutes walk away. Its also nice to just chill in the hostel, there is a nice pool, a common room, a rooftop and a terrace in front of the hostel with nice music. So I can totally recommend this hostel! There is literally nothing bad I could say.

My best hostel ”
i travel 3 weeks in island in Thailand and this is the best hostel i like , first is the staff they are really hospitality and when i call them they send a transport to pick up in the pier and also everyday they have event to bring the guest explore different without charge , we go beach we go see sunset together that make me know many friend in the trip , i am so happy about this hostel is very very care thee customer. I highly recommended this hotel to everyday .

Wonderful staffs made a wonderful stay”
I stayed at three different hotels while I was staying on Koh Tao and the Dearly is my most favorite so far. The staffs were too kind and nice. They were very lovely and helpful. Nice place, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. I will definitely go back and stay longer! Please consider improving your breakfast, mine (the omelette) was too oily.

Exceptionally clean, friendly staff and very comfortable ”
The Dearly was recommended to me and I'm glad I followed the advice. This isn't a party hostel, which is exactly what I was looking for. The dorms are spacious and very very clean. Met some great people here and I ended up extending my stay too. It's close to the beaches and viewpoints in the south. I was able to walk everywhere but I believe you can hire bikes here too. Every night there is a free activity which you can sign up for. It's a great way to meet other people in the hostel and see more of the island! The location is far from Sairee beach, which is where all the action is, but there's plenty of restaurants and shops around here. If you want to be in the heart of all the action then don't stay here. It's more of a chilled place, which was perfect for me.

The Dearly is absolutely amazing. The property is kept immaculately clean and the pool is incredible to say the least. The staff are friendly and the complementary breakfast is a nice bonus. It is a little removed from the action but still conveniently located. Would definitely stay here again!

If you’re looking for a place in Koh Tao. You’ve found it - stop looking. Stay here. Clean rooms, beautiful pool, basic but decent breakfast, and the best staff and customer service you’ll find at a hostel. They staff go above and beyond, so friendly, and made our stay that much better, thank you ! I highly recommend this place.

Really friendly”
I had a great time at the Dearly. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming and the hostel was pretty lively even in off season. The location was great. A little bit far from Sairee beach but the quality of food in the area was amazing and it was close to a number of Dive schools and chilled out bars. The beds were reasonably comfortable though could do with an option to block out light! Regardless I would definitely stay here again if I returned to Koh Tao.

A great place to stay”
The Dearly is a great place to stay. A bit more pricey than a typical hostel (I booked a bed in a 6-bed mixed bedroom, 400 baht through agoda, 500 in the hostel, and it's the cheapest option) but def worth it. The rooms are clean and comfy, the showers are in perfect order, there's hot water, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. The beds don't have privacy curtains, but it wasn't a problem - the Dearly is a chill, quiet kinda hostel. The staff is great, too. I arrived without any prep or planning and they helped me figure out what's where on the island and what I can do and see. They will help you book a taxi, a ferry ticket or a snorkeling trip. It's a 20 min walk to the hostel from the pier, there are great places to eat around and a 7-11 down the street. You can order food and drinks at the reception, and the included breakfast is a buffet-style thing with fruits, toast, jam, pancakes and noodles. Staying there feels like a treat. It's a pretty place, peaceful and comfortable.

Lovely but perhaps not worth the extra money”
The Dearly is lovely - the staff are friendly, there are nice common areas, everything is clean...there's even a pool, which I have to say I didn't use because I'd rather go to the beach! It charges more because of these extras, and I was left wondering if it was worth the money - for some people, absolutely, it will be, and for others, probably not. The breakfast was disappointing as a vegan. For the price, I would have expected brewed coffee.

The rooms are really nice, lots of space, especially in the 6 bed dorms. A balcony to dry your clothes, and a big closet beside your bed to put things inside and at the top. They have plenty of space to hang out, and even a swimming pool!! The WiFi is good, just bad you need to log on to one device at the time, so not ideal for those who want to work. It's close to chalok beach and walking distance to John Suwan viewpoint, but u would recommend to rent a scooter during the stay as its more convenient. Lots of bars, restaurants and cafe's nearby. If you look for party, don't stay here, go to sairee. If you're okay with party once or twice during your stay, stay here!!

Best hostel ”
This hostel has everything you are looking for and more. Starting with their free the breakfast buffet is great ( fried rice, fruits and tost with yummy jam) and the terrace is beautiful surrounded by exotic plants. Every 2 weeks they have a beach crawl going to two different beaches and a viewing point. The beds are comfortable and they make your bed every day. Bathrooms are clean and women baths are separated from men. In fact every floor has their own bathrooms. I have stayed in the female 6 dorm and made great ladies I hold very close to my heart. They also have their own taxi that leaves at fixed times and the rate is good. They just finished building the pool and the owner let us in as first timers which was very nice of him. Their rooftop is gorgeous as well to view sunsets or sunrises. The staff their is great and they are very helpful if you need anything. You don't want to miss this unique hostel, which has so much to offer.

Wonderful hostel ”
I stayed in the female dorm and the dorm was fantastic with super clean toilets and showers. It’s quite expensive 700baht/night incl breakfast but the hostel is the best one I ever stayed at. The only negative thing was the wi-fi. You could only login to one device at the time and every time you left the Hostel you were logged out and had to login again. Sometimes I couldn’t login to the wi-fi, the staff tried to help me but couldn’t figure out what was wrong. There’s a rooftop, a common room, the reception area where you have breakfast and meet people, and a really nice pool. The location is in a quiet area opposite a smaller beach far away from Sairee beach (parties and pub crawls). You need to rent a scooter to get around.

This was one of the nicest hostels I stayed in Thailand. The facilities are all very clean and new. The beds were comfortable and the rooms had tonnes of space. The pool was very nice and there's also a lot of areas to relax. The hostel feels more like a hotel so it is a bit quiet for people who want to socialize.
