Antique Aristocrat hotel at an excellent neighborhood”
We wanted to try a five star hotel within our budget and we were not disappointed. It is located just 12 minutes walk from CentralWorld, and other tourist attractions, 5 minutes walk from the Lumpini Park, 7-8 minutes from the Chit Lom BTS, and 50-70 Baht Taxi away from most major attractions. The rooms were well furnished, specious and full of amenities. Interestingly, however, the setup felt like traditional aristocrat house which aged but has kept its glory. The cupboard doors squeaked, sliding doors often failed to slide smoothly, the bathtub water drain filter was jammed. Still we felt the luxury of a five star hotel at a great location and with great service. The breakfast was excellent. Some people complained in the reviews regarding limited choice, but we were full and satisfied before trying more than half the dishes despite try everything mentality.

Ideal choice value for money luxury serviced apartment at central location!”
My recent stay was very pleasant, I used to be regular 2 years ago before they change hotel name, whenever I visited Bangkok, they are my ONLY choice! There are few things needs to improve (Room 2107): - Shower water temperature not consistent; - Ant at kitchenette area; - Cable TV program signal not clear. Aside from above, this hotel is certainly value for money , luxury, spacious, ideal location, well trained and good service staffs, best choice to stay when visit Bangkok, either for business or leisure, I will come back again!

Great location. Reasonable value.”
We returned to the dutchess after 7 years with Sweet memorise of the hotel from when it was called naturaville by Accor group. Hotel had changed owner and a shadow of it former self. Visual entrance and lobby area has been aesthetically destroyed and gone was the posh French partisseri and posh restaurant feel. (You could se closed parts was a inactive building site. The ackward entry defined our visit as it was a hotel that visually struggles with age. 7 years ago it was mid-high hotel but it is gagging for a refurbishment now. It’s become s Chinese budget business traveller hotel. Rooms are identical to how we remember them but with 7 years extra wear and tear. Plus side: - front desk staff was very attentive - housekeeping staff was very attentive - location is still awesome near chit lom BTS Con: - you can get stunning hotels at lower price near a BTS - price is 500 bath too high per night - it’s nearbour is the biggest building site in BKK and of course there was noise from there. This however will not be permanent. So if you love langsuang-Lumpini as we do and get a good deal, the staff is there for you, but gone is the honeymooner style experience. We did not return. We travelled back 6 month later and stayed two nights at The Museup the road instead, which is owned by Accor group, the dutchess original owner.

Nice spot in the heart of Bangkok”
Nice place close to all famous shopping malls of Siam and Sukhumvit area. The Hotel itself is located right in the middle of Lang Suan Road between Chitlom BTS station and Lumphini Park. Both Chitlom and Ratchadamri BTS stations are in walking distance 5-10 mins. The facilities are clean and very spacious, the upper floors around 20th and higher have a nice view. We didnt try the breakfast but ordered food to the room twice and weren't disappointed. Staff is also very helpful. We would recommend this place to anyone who would like to stay in the center of Bangkok on a valuable price with spacious rooms in a nice area. You should definitely try the small restaurant just 5 mins to the direction of Lumphini Park on the right hand side where they serve authentic and cheap Isaan food! I'm not sure about the name but you will definitely recognize it for its all local customers ;)

I always stay at this hotel when I need to take care some business in this area. If I travel alone, with my wife or with the whole family, the place never disappoints me. The place always has everything i need, it is clean, spacious and the staff is always very helpful. I stayed in most of the available roomtypes over the years, I always use the gym and laundry area during my stays, the room with a kitchenette is ideal with young children . Good quality and facilities for your money, I highly recommend it.

Over priced and underwhelming”
Uncaring staff on check-in and check-out. Badly designed, small, and spartanly (and cheaply) furnished room. Rain showerhead that didn't work. Floor drains in the shower room/toilet that were obviously blocked and were oderous. Floor tiles used in the shower and toilet are were slippery and dangerour when wet (despite the addition of a cheap and small rubber foot mat). Breakfast selection was pathetic and of very low quality. Compared with competitor products within 50m of this place, which are much cheaper, The Duchess is a poor choice.

Value For Money, Good Location”
This hotel is a 7 mins walk to Chidlom BTS and 5 mins to Rachadamri BTS. There are two 7 Eleven stores nearby(<5 mins) and a SuperRich Money Changer just 3 mins away. The hotel is clean and I stayed in a huge room with 2 young children for 7 nights. The swimming pool needs some repair as some of the tiles are falling off. The staff in the business centre was very helpful in printing out vouchers that I booked online for the Bangkok attractions that I want to visit with my children. All in all, a good hotel to stay in.

An excellent place to land in Bangkok”
A really good hotel, but a little bit out of the way. Given that, there are Tuk Tuks and Taxi that will get you to somewhere very easily, and for very little. The nearby Lumpini Park is a real treat and there's an MRT station there too
