Best riverview and excellent staff”
Stayed in Elephant Crossing for three nights in late October. Checked in early evening when it was already dark. Dined at hotel restaurant. Recommended the crispy seaweed with sesame seeds, fish leap and iced hibiscus tea. Booked "tubing" over two hours in Namsong River for next day activity at front desk. We tailored our preferred activities with Mr Big (front desk staff) without opting for the multi-activity packages organized by a tour company. Throughout our stay, Mr Big was extremely helpful with all our activity and transportation arrangements. He even negotiated for a couple of discounted van tickets for Luang Prabang and personally arranged with the driver for front seats (motion sickness issue). We appreciated the cordial and meticulous services from Mr Big. Room is comfortable, clean, dark and quiet for good night sleep. Woked up next morning with the best view of the Namsong River and the mountains from the balcony. Breakfast excellent. Location central.

The Best 3-star hotel in Vang Vieng”
The hotel is situated along the river bank and it has one of the best views of the mountain ranges from room balcony. It is accessible 24x7 and within few meters from restaurants and convenience stores, Room is cozy with good basic amenities. Buffet breakfast was superb with basic selection almost like a 4-5-star hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would want to stay there again when I return, Note: Construction is ongoing at the time of stay. May take months to finish. Noisy from 8am to 5pm. If you plan hotel staycation....not the place to be right now. Otherwise, you need to explore Vang Vieng on those times.

The hotel with the best view in our entire trip across Laos. Location was good, and room was comfy enough for Our overnight stay in Vang Vieng. The property is a bit dated and could use some really good cleaning. The free breakfast was OK just the basic with an omelet station. But the resto Cafe is right by the river which made for quite a relaxing breakfast.

Beautiful river view - soon destroyed by garage”
This hotel has a perfect central location and is situated directly at the river, with s a beautiful lush garden, marvelous views of river , mountains and landscape and the restaurant in the garden with breakfast directly at the river. However, recently they cut off a major part of the splendid garden, to build a giant parking garage, which not only destroys the beauty of this hotel but also cuts parts of t he marvelous views! I honestly cannot at all understand how they can destroy their major asset - the garden and the view - in such a brutal way. This is like cutting yourself an arm off. Moreover, construction work was going on from 7 to 5 every day when I was there (despite a sign that it would only from 9 to 5; being waked by construction noise at 7 is really brutal; I made a complaint). Once construction is over this hotel might still have its value but better double check. Breakfast was good with sometimes buffet sometimes 5 options to choose from. Wifi was not really good.

Hotel has good location on river. Ask for room on 5th floor, great views and renovated. Great breakfast in restaurant by river. Hotel rather old currently under reno. Hotel next doors pool look very inviting. The hotel booked mini bus tickets to Phonsavan.

It’s ok just a night stay”
We were unluck to encounter with twice room change at night. Our original room had water leak from air con. Once I informed night shift, he suddenly changed to the new one but unfortunately the second room also had problem with air con which had no cool air, so the 3rd room was provided with upgrade to Deluxe. Thanks for help. We finally could sleep. However, noon staff want nice enough to service and air con there need to have big cleaning

I like the bed and balcony cooling ”
First time was deluxe big room, but shower head should change, hot water seem not working. Second night was standard room, I like the shower good with hot water and water pressure. Cleanliness should improve. Hotel breakfast almost finish when 9am, coffee latte from machine was suck. Laos coffee was good.

The location is great, right on the river and all, but the long hours of jackhammering related to the construction of whatever it is they are building made the idea of an afternoon nap unworkable, and made having a late-ish breakfast very uncomfortable as the construction site is right next to the dining area. Evenings were quiet enough except for the loud music from across the river... I guess it's hard to get away from that in Vang Vieng.

Great location, a bit rundown, beware of heavy construction happening around hotel.”
Good Points: great location and view, decent bed, decent breakfast buffet, nice staff. Bad Points: Heavy and loud construction happening for a while around hotel. Supposed to go from 9 am to 5 pm, but that is ignored. It really goes from Sunrise to Sunset. Very disappointing. Also, many mosquitos in room, broken floor boards. I had a river view King bed unit on 3rd floor. River and mountain view were great, but the construction noise was terrible.
