The Eternity Resort was the perfect place to stay to go visit the Golden Rock Pagoda. The room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast had a huge selectionof options (not sure if this has changed since previous reviews, but certainly no complaints here). We also had a very good dinner here the night we arrived. The staff were very helpful and incredibly polite and friendly. The grounds are well kept with a very nice swimming pool. The Golden Rock Pagoda can be seen clearly from the rooms balcony and also from the pool and deck. Higly recommend a stay here.

Lovely Place”
This hotel is very pleasant with a really nice swimming pool and spacious room. It is mostly wheelchair accessible, but one step to the platform and one step into the room. Bring your own bathchair if needed. The restaurant is not accessible...several steps, but you can have the food brought to your room. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but almost all slim girls. We needed a couple of men to help with the heavy wheelchair.

Don't go there for design or warmly atmosphere. Rooms are big. Large buffet breakfast but not so exceptional. Very nice and large swimming pool.

Extremely friendly staff and comfortable room”
We were backpacking and not part of a booked tour and the staff were very helpful with booking bus transfers etc. The location is hard to reach when traveling without a bus tour, we had to do a couple of pickup and taxi rides. The room was comfortable.

We were very satisfy when staying at Eternity. Despite the hot, and very hot weather in Kyaikhtiyo, we were welcomed with a friendly attitude and a very helpful staff. The two owners of the Resort did help us much in communication with our driver (he can't speak English, and they had their own shuttle car to the bus station to Golden Rock. They are very kind and hospitality.

A great location with great price”
The room was very clean and made me wonder for a second that I was actually paying the right price (for the positive side). We requested the hotel to arrange a transportation from Yangon to Kyaikhtiyo via Bago, which was arranged at a decent price. Although we were made to wait at the Airport for about 2 hours for the pick up to show up, with troublesome telephone line which was frustrating. The location of the hotel is great, unless you consider mountain top an essential factor. 2 minutes from the Kyaikhtiyo village by car, right in front of the Truck check point.

Our group of 12 stayed for a night after visiting the Golden Rock and everyone was more than pleased. The hotel was fairly new looking and most importantly well kept and CLEAN! It's a much better hotel option than staying at the hotels on the mountain (in my opinion). The bathrooms/shower was clean as well. It was a great value. Dining: Great customer service, but then again we were the only ones in the dining hall for dinner...Only issue was that the food took forever to come out. They also offer free breakfast in the morning. Our group was departing really early in the morning so we requested if breakfast could be made available an hour earlier than normal and they made it happen. Now that was great service! Very accommodating. Location: Was tough to find initially, but our drivers just asked locals and we found our way. The walk from the truck stop was less than 10 minutes. I'm really glad we chose the Eternity Resort. I definitely recommend it to future travelers visiting the golden rock.

The rooms (at the bungalows, dining room, reception) are clean, new furnitures, all (nearly, especially the lighting) works, the staff ask, if all is ok or if they mey help for problems. Eternity Resort is/was the only hotel with bathroom with european standard and cleanliness. If we have to sleep near Kyaikto I will choose Eternity Resort. Another benefit is the quiet surroundings of the hotel.

Wonderful place to stay.”
We had a wonderful stay at The Eternity Resort. The hotel is well located being out of the village but close enough to walk in for food and catching the bus. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they also offer a free pick up and drop off service to the village and bus stations. The rooms and hotel complex is very clean and quite new. A great place to stay.

Exceptionally nice staff, overall a good choice”
Located at the foot of the hill where the Golden Rock pagoda stands, Eternity resort is a nice and clean hotel, animated by exceptionally nice staff. A really good choice for a short stay at Khathiyo. I'll return there for my next visit (I'm an expat living in Myanmar).
