Great little place but too far to Terminal 21”
If you're a lone traveller, this is a find. It's so cheap. I stayed with my 12 year old as a single mum and the staff are the best about the place. Friendly, helpful and always want to be of assistance. The rooms were large and we had two single beds, the only problem I had was the curtains which didn't close properly and it was so bright early mornings. The other problem was it was too far away for me and the kid to walk to the Terminal 21 and Asok BTS. We had to take a bike taxi everytime and forget about walking back with groceries. The pool is great, the surrounding area has some very nice restaurants and posh bakery - do nip out the back of the hotel to the Holey Artisan Bakery - we actually went back there even after we shifted out to Soi 22 for the remainder of our stay. No complains except for the 20 -30 minute walk - depending on your stamina...
A bit far from the main road but nice hotel”
The hotel is located a bit off from the main road so I would recommend taking a Grab Bike or use the complimentary shuttle service offered by the hotel, especially on hot summer days. The rooms are spacious and clean. Good value for money.
Large Room and comfortable stay.”
Big clean and spacious room for a couple. You could fit a family of 4. Room & Facilities (A/C, Elevator, Bathroom and Toilet) were outdated, could do some renovation and upgrade. Breakfast was good. Front Desk was friendly and very helpful. Hotel offers tuktuk service to nearby BTS station, the hotel is around 1-1.2 km away from near BTS. Internet was fast but kept disconnecting couple of times. Overall stay was good. Would recommend this place.
Hello Abdul, thank you for making us your preferred choice in Bangkok. The average room at the Euro Grande Hotel is 31 sqm, bigger than most hotels in the area, including reputable chains. The hotel opened in 1990, and as we‘ve been serving guest for over 30 years, some of our essential facilities are due for an upgrade, and we are currently in the process of beginning renovation work. Thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback, we hope to welcome you again in the near future
Found something unexplain item locate at room.”
We are family traveler during this trip. When we check in and stay inside the room. We try to keep our drink inside the fridge but sudden saw there was a cloth cover a baby body or maybe toy inside the fridge. From this scene, we even cant sleep well and keep imagine and ever feel can listen some baby crying sound surrounding the room. We need to change room and asking the stuff about what is that item and why have baby or baby toy keep in fridge. Unfortunately we cannot get any answer from the stuff. This make me feel would not stay and return to this hotel any more.
Change the room every night for three nights. The first night stay, the room level is too low, not what I ordered. The second night stay has requested a non-smoking room but it is given to a smoking room, causing physical discomfort. On the third night, the sheets in the hotel were moldy and neat!! However, the service staff Hemant's service is very good, and I try my best to help me deal with the room problem. Worth appraising!!
Hello ShuHao, Thank you so much for staying at The Euro Grande Hotel and for leaving us a review. We are incredibly apologetic for your experience. We hope you come back to stay with us during your next visit to Bangkok and we will more than make up for it. Contact us directly any time for special rates.
The effort is there in an old building that needs remodel.”
I arrived and was put in a large room with an aged bathroom where the sink and tub of porcelain were pealing badly. I called to complain and get a discount, instead they moved me to the top floor (11th) one of three floor they have remodeled. The room was a bit smaller but it was all redone and the bathroom with granite countertops. I was very pleased. It did lack a dresser or an drawers to place t-shirts, underwear and socks. My first room had plenty of drawers for cloths. It surprising that they go from many drawers to zero or one. They need to find that happy middle three to four dresser drawers even for the remodeled rooms. Front desk staff was very attentive for the most part and I asked for much help the first three days of my six day stay. The front desk staff never said no. They did say wait but never did they say no. Two areas they need to improve. I arrived in BKK without any of my Rx sunglasses. I went to the eye place and ordered a pair of glasses. I have them the card
Hello Zachary, Thank you so much for choosing to stay at The Euro Grande Hotel, and for taking the time to leave us feedback. It is through guest reviews such as yours that we hope to better serve future clients. Your remark regarding drawer space has been noted and passed to the management. The rooms on the 11th, 10th, and 9th floors were recently renovated, and we are currently working on renovating the rest of the rooms as well. We hope all our rooms and facilities will be fully renovated by the end of the year, hopefully in time to welcome you back!
Ok great plus ”
Luggage storage offered for free. They tried to make us take taxi with prepaid fare to the airport but we had been advised and it was 200 vs 500 they were wanting to charge us. That was the only major issue. Nice they have tuc tuc drop off for free but do get instrucions on how to return!
Hello Karla, thank you for staying at The Euro Grande Hotel. We are very happy you were pleased with your stay and enjoyed our complimentary tuktuk shuttle service. As for the airport transfer fare - as Bangkok traffic during rush hour means that a ride to the airport can take up to 3-4 hours, taxi drivers will often insist on fares above 1000 baht when you arrive at airport. You are correct that the meter fares may range between 200-500 baht but this is not including tolls and drivers try and take advantage. We recommend prepaid to protect customers. Thank you once again!
Good size rooms, good location, the staff were very friendly and helpful ”
The air con was very noisy, made it hard to sleep. The pool was nice but lots of mosquitos, which took a fancy to my legs. Breakfast was average but did the job. The best thing about this hotel is the staff, very helpful and very friendly.
Hello Chris, Thank you for staying at The Euro Grande Hotel and for taking the time out to leave us a review. I will be sure to pass the compliments for the staff on to them. Our team works very hard and when we hear good feedback from customers, it is incredibly motivating. We hope to welcome you back again in the near future.
Wonderful. Gold location. Good staff service.

Renovated rooms (and others under renovation); Value even better than before”
The male receptionist was very kind and spent time with me to figure out the best room that fit my description. The female receptionist not so approachable. I was very happy with my two-day stay even though some renovation noise is to be heard every now and then. Good Wifi, good Cable channels and a fair buffet breakfast. This hotel probably offers the best value near Sukhumvit.
Hi, Madjid! Thanks a lot for staying with us. Hope to welcome you again with wonderful experience further. Regards, Deboshree
Hotel policies are not transparent ”
We have booked 4double rooms for 4 individual persons, but when we came up to the hotel with a girl, they asked us to pay extra 500 baht for the room, which was not mentioned in the hotel policy agreement, we asked the reason for the this and the lobby manager told us it was sudden policy adapted by the management ( Indian Management) and we are obliged to pay So we paid the amount reluctantly, Basically hotel policies cannot be changed overnight and had be communicated This is a typical Indian hotel So the one who wish to accommodate this hotel ( especially for Indians) please be vigilant, they charge you higher rates according to their wish Overall I would cast negative comments for this hotel Very very very bad and poor hotel policies😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Hello Chinthana, Thank you for making The Euro Grande Hotel your preferred choice in Bangkok. We sincerely apologize that you were not pleased with your experience. At The Euro Grande Hotel - all rooms can either be sold for single occupancy, double occupancy or triple occupancy depending on the guest’s needs. Single Occupancy rooms are the cheapest, while triple occupancy, most expensive. In the case of your booking, your travel companions and you must have accidentally booked a single occupancy room and as per hotel policy, our staff probably insisted you pay the additional fee. We apologize if you felt this wasn’t communicated to you clearly enough. Our management will take the right steps to ensure this does not happen again to a different guest. More importantly, we sincerely request that you refrain from discriminatory derogatory comments targeted at Indians whatever your personal feelings may be. Our staff and team welcome guests from all over the world and we have a strict n
Good but location is a little far.
Comfortable and pleasant.”
Was here only for a short stay but I would like to come back as all was perfect for me.
Hello Daniel, Thank you so much for choosing to stay at The Euro Grande Hotel and for taking the time to leave us a review. We look forward to welcome you back whenever you find yourself in Bangkok next! Safe travels!
I love my stay there. Specially with the receptionist on the morning named marcee. She is very welcoming and accomodating. Kudos to her
It was the best stay in Thailand”
Among the best one I booked in Thailand trip(4 hotels). Need to provide more toiletries and coffee/tea etc. Else other things are just perfect and price is very affordable compare to expensive and dirty hotels in Bangkok. I will definitely come again if visit back to Bangkok.
Thank you for your feedback, We hope you will have great experience in your next visit.
Good find for budget travelers”
Like most Bangkok hotels of it's age it's a little bit dated but is a good value for the money and the staff are really kind and helpful. The rooms are large. The area is great as it's quiet and away from the madness on Nana but you can still get there easily if you want. Would stay again.
One of the best hotels in the budget in an awesome location ”
I've stayed at this hotel for 2 of my last 3 trips to Bangkok. I've experimented with hotels on Pattaya ... but if I'm travelling to Bangkok this is my only choice. Pros 1. The rooms were huge compared to other hotels in the segment 2.This hotel is very close to BTS ... just a 500 mt walk. 3.It has an attached restaurant as well as a hookah bar and Indian restaurant right next door 4.There is an ultra-posh mall right there, so many places to eat with different cuisines and an awesome massage parlor just a stone throws away. 4.The decor is rustic old school and it has a nice pool Cons 1.The decor is a little dated (that's the charm for me) though none of the rooms had any good views. 2.The AC was a bit odd to operate. 3.The joiner fee is ridiculous. My travel mate was charged 500B for each visitor while this was not informed upfront. Irrespective i still think it is ridiculous. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a nice cozy place to stay.
Basic but nice”
I had a nice 2 days at The Eurogrande, my room was old and worn but it was a nice, big space and everything worked; i was very comfortable. The were also extremely nice and helpful. The was nice and cool for the hot weather. Good value for for money. I will be back.
Good stay, will come again!”
Great staff and very accommodating, I eat only vegetarian and they were careful to have that food prepared. I love to walk in Bangkok so the short walk to BTS Asok or Prom Pong is quite fine, good sights and shopping along the way! The reason it is 3 star because it is older building and style, however value for money very good and great location. I would have stayed longer but it was fully booked.
