Excellent”
This place is incredible. Do yourself a favour, find a good deal and stay here for a few days - you will not regret it. The view from the chalets and the bungalow is spectacular: Beautifully serene lake encircled by lush mountains, tea pickers and a few fishermen that catch fish from the lake. The resort is built on a tea plantation and a vegetable farm, very much with respect towards the surrounding environment. The staff is incredibly attentive and knowledgable about the area and the culture. We were very well taken care of by our butler Justin, the front house manager Manushan, the chefs and the room cleaners, whose names I unfortunately do not know. We mainly wanted to rest, so they arranged us a boat trip with a small fisherman's boat (with life vests) around the lake, showed us around the tea plantation and the estate and cooked us dinner with fish freshly caught from the lake. The food is plenty and delicious and they make flavourful curries. I do hope to come back here one day!

Everything at the Farm Resorts is excellent. The grounds are beautiful with lovely views of the lake. The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and huge. The food was very good. The staff was truly exceptional! They went above and beyond at every opportunity to make sure we had everything we needed. We felt very well cared for, pampered in fact. What a find this place is! Gorgeous grounds with amazing views of the lake. The room we stayed in was huge, clean, modern and comfortable with great outdoor spaces. The grounds are quite large, so depending on where you stay you might have a short, and very enjoyable walk to the main lodge. The food was delicious and the staff was truly phenomenal. We felt truly welcomed and pampered even by the staff who provided us with anything and everything we could have needed. They catered to our every need without hesitation. I can’t recommend the Farm Resorts enough!

Amazing hotel in incredibly beautiful surroundings”
The hotel is situated in the middle of a tea plantation where you can stroll around and look at how the tea is being farmed. This entails also great views from the room and main building. The rooms are spacious, very clean and nicely equipped. The staff is extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. The food from the hotel garden was absolutely delicious. While the hotel is an oasis of peace, one has to consider that it is a bit off the beaten track. Therefore, there is not an abundance of activities nearby. A good option is climbing Adam’s Peak when it is open (it is closed off-season). Another possibility is to rent a bike from the hotel for a short tour.

The nicest place from our visit to Srilanka, the view is breath taking and the stuff is very friendly specially Justin. we highly recommend it, heaven in earth. However, the area is away from tourist attractions which takes time to reach and the food prices is expensive.

Wow, it was a great stay, especially after an early wake up to go the Adam’s Peak! The place is just perfectly located, the room are so nice.... as well as the people working there. And the environnement is just magnificent and so relaxing ! You just right in the tea plantations ! Dinner and breakfast were excellent too ! You can even rent a bike to go around ! That is so nice ! It’s definitely a great place to stay !

Amazing views and it's nested in misty hills. Although the hotel has great potential there's a lot more room for improvement. Rooms are spacious but cleanliness must be improved, we've noticed stains on our pillow covers, extra blanket was provided but it was tucked away in the wardrobe for too long and it smelled bad and moldy. In room tea bags were simply from an open pack which is not hygienic as compared to individually packed ones. And the biggest let down was food, although it tasted ok it took a hour to prepare each time, which is unacceptable. Considering the resort is in a remote location and their cafe is the ONLY option around for the guests, this was a big let down. Go here if views are your ONLY requirement.

Different room from the one booked online”
We were very disapointed to realize that the room we were put in was really bad compared to the one we booked on line. Not hot water, and wifi poorly working. We finally cancel a night and we appreciate a compensation.

Guter Ort, um nach einer Wanderung auf den Adam's Peak zu entspannen”
The Farm Resort liegt mitten in einer Teeplantage an einem See. Es ist sehr idyllisch, ruhig und wirklich wunderschön. Der nächste Ort (Dick Oya) ist ca. 2 km entfernt, da man einen Teil an einer kurvigen Hauptstraße entlang muss, kann man leider nicht so gut dorthin laufen und es ist auch schwer ein TukTuk zu bekommen. Man ist somit ziemlich abgeschieden und hat kaum Möglichkeiten außerhalb des Hotels zu essen, einzukaufen usw. Es empfiehlt sich also das einzuplanen. Unsere Suite war, wie in Sri Lanka typisch, etwas karg eingerichtet, aber prinzipiell sehr schön, Das Bett war bequem und verfügte über ein Moskitonetz. Der Service war toll, denn jeder hat einen privaten Butler, mit dem man alle Fragen bequem über Whatsapp klären kann. Er hat für uns zb den Transfer zum Adams Peak organisiert. Die Fahrten, die das Hotel anbietet klappen gut, sind aber vergleichsweise teuer (9000LKR zum AP). Wir würden das Hotel für einige Tage für alle Entspannungssuchenden sehr empfehlen.

Wunderschöne Lage, wunderbares Essen, hilfsbereite Crew. Tolles Zimmer mit herrlicher Aussicht. Aber kaum gebaut rinnt das Klo, ist die Dusche klapprig, das Dach im Restaurant leck. Die Anlage ist noch nicht fertig und schon am Abbau. Die junge Crew bemüht sich sehr, aber es fehlt ein Chef und ein guter Unterhalt der Anlage.
