The friendly atmosphere. The hosts were very helpful and informative. The breakfast was excellent. The grounds and setting were wonderful. The village was beautiful

Breakfast was delicious! Karen and Mick gave us some great suggestions on where to go even on the rainy day. They were wonderful hosts!

Lovely place to stay with plenty to see and do in the local area - just ask the hosts who are very knowledgeable and will be able to guide you. More to do than we had time for. Enjoyed the gardens and a walk in the forest behind the inn. Wonderful breakfasts enjoyed course by course.

The property was beautiful, great location. Hiking/ mountain bike trails out the back door. Swimming pond on property and a swimming hole across the street. Short walk/drive to town.

On week nights, there was a little road noise if you slept with your window open, but not bad.

Non-traditional breakfast but inventive and tasty. Facilities were pleasantly rustic. This couple work hard to keep up with their guest needs.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Green Mountains at the Featherbed Inn with Karen and Mick. The property was beautiful with its little swimming pond and the various outdoor seatings, which are perfect to enjoy a beautiful summer night in Vermont’s nature. Karen and Mick are great hosts and make you feel at home from day one. In addition they prepare a delicious breakfast every day, which includes many regional products - perfect for a great start into the day! We highly recommend and will come back soon.

The Inn was beautiful and the breakfasts were delicious.

There was no bathroom in our room. We had to use a bathroom, that was assigned to our room, down the hall. We would have liked fresh towels each day.

Karen's home made scones are delicious; breakfast is plentiful. What a great way to start the day! Great location in the mad river. Karen and Mic are so welcoming; definitely one the most friendliest people I've met.

The owners Karen and Mick go out of their way to make your stay at the Feathebed Inn memorable: a homey, reasonably sized main building, comfortably furnished common rooms, games for the kids, fireside smores in the evening, and a fluffy feather layer atop each bed. You can expect original, delicious breakfasts freshly cooked every morning. On some evenings, the owners also prepare excellent 3-course dinners that are highly recommended, especially considering that the restaurant options in Waitsfield can be limited. The inn is ideally located between two of the best ski resorts on the East Coast, Sugarbush and Mad River Glen, each one a 10-minute drive. Good wifi, ample parking space, beautiful property with direct acccess to hiking trails. We'll definitely be back.
