Nice and clean hotel”
Located in the East, it took us just a few MRT stations from the airport and 20mns walk to get to the hotel. Near the hotel, there is a direct bus line no. 33 to Clark quay and China town. Around the hotel, there are plenty of small good restaurants serving malay, chinese or vietnamese food. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful especially Ina and Ted. The first two days of our stay, we were awakened by the noisy neighbors who were talking very loudly in their room and in the corridor at 7 am! Also we were in a room on the last floor where the partition with another room by the bathroom does not seem to be well sealed as we could clearly hear the neighbors. Otherwise the room, although small, was very clean and good enough for our visit in Singapore.

Short Change on Assigned Room”
I booked 2 rooms separately, one without window and one with window which cost slightly more. However, the hotel assigned me both rooms without window. Highlighted the front desk staff but so far have not receive any clarification. Small issue but it's just plain wrong in short changing the customer like this.

location abit far from train 20min walk. but if you know how to take bus is very convenient. fast checkin, staff very friendly. room abit small but enough for 2. air conditioner very cool. good shower. nearby a lots food restaurant and a small hawker centre.

Request a queen bed during booking but i get 2 single bed, give me some excuses but i know that they can do a bit more to avoid this kind of disappointment. Plus the bed is a hard as steel and bed sheet not clean, can't sleep well at all...

this was our second stays at this hotel. it was a pleasant stays on our first time few months back that's why re-book the same hotel with same room type again this time. we booked a superior room with window but was given a small room without window and we were surprised that the room was not even clean yet! p/s we checked in around 8pm. when we get into the room the bed was messy with quilt unfolded. we then also noticed there's no window in the room. Went down again to inform the receptionist & they change another room to us with window. but we still find the room is smaller compared to our last stays - we suspect they downgrade our booking.

Everything was okay except for the Male Night Staff at the lobby on the 10th of November. Me and my wife booked a room with one bed but to our surprised we were given a double single bed. I asked the male staff why and then he answered, room were based on the availability. And when i asked if there’s any staff who can help us to put the bed together, He replied that he was the only staff on duty and he cant help us.Whaaaaaatttttttttttt?! And even answered with sarcastic looks. Infairness the staffs the next morning upon check out were very friendly.
A great budget hotel for a short stay in Singapore”
The hotel room is really clean and adequately sized. The housekeeping team did a great job maintaining the cleanliness throughout my stay. Much appreciated. There are tons of eateries for people to eat around the area if you ever go hungry. The hotel is a little far from public transport and the shopping malls, hence I had to walk a little or took a grab during my lazy day. Overall, it was pleasant and I would definitely recommend it to people that are looking for an affordable and comfortable stay in Singapore
2nd time staying here. One of the cheapest hotel in the East side without being near the geylang area, although there are still pubs around that open at night. Good WiFi Internet speed. Clean rooms, bed sheets, towel. Tea coffee sachets, bottled water, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cap provided. Room is quite spacious. There is free parking beside hotel, but limited space. Overall, good stay.
Excellent hotel in interesting area”
THe room was very nice, clean with good amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Joo Chiat is a very interesting area in Singapore, the red light district is VERY tame compared to other cities. Only complaint is inconsiderate tour group couple chatting loudly at 2.30am in corridor!!
Room with free strong WiFi, they provided free bottled water, towels provided, toothbrush/toothpaste provided. Aircon took awhile to cool down the room. Staff was friendly. Free parking provided beside the hotel, but limited spots (about 5/6 spots), on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are some pubs along the roads which operates at night. There's a nearby Durham food centre which has stalls operating from breakfast to supper time.
Our 2nd time in Singapore and we stayed here as opposed to right in the centre, for how much cheaper it made it we don't regret the decision, the room was nice and the lack of window would have bothered me but we knew we were gonna be out all day. Clean and comfortable, some good food options nearby and it's nice to see a slightly different side to Singapore than huge hotels.

Pros : Good location. Close to eateries, minimarts & Koon Seng Rd. Cons : Triple bedroom is small & can be tight for 3 adults. Soundproofing not good. I heard next room conversation while in the bathroom!

We’re staying for 3days 2night. The fragrance hotel have a clean room and good price. Near parkway east hospital and location easy to find food. Only several thing need to improve, no slipper in room, neighbour voice can hear clearly in our room, night life area (pub/karaoke) a bit noise. But still very recommend this hotel.

Beware of your valuable items”
Stayed there Afew times over the years this my first time I encounter this problem.my girlfriend lost $200+ USD in the room and the purse which contains the cash was buried right below the luggage meaning someone actually rummage through the luggage. so whoever planning to stay here remember to bring your valuable items along when you go out.other then this incident all else is ok

We were surprised to learn that the Front Office did not receive any complainst from you regarding the missing money during the whole duration of your stay. As this is a serious allegation, the manager would have conducted an investigation immediately if he had been informed of the matter, and assisted to escalate the matter to the police had there been any reason to suspect misconduct. All of our Housekeeping Team have been with us for several years and we have never had any other guests losing any of thier belongings or cash when they were staying with us.
